Dr. Simon took the time to explain to me exactly what he would need to do to fix the shift, how long it would take, and what it would cost. He was careful to say they were no guarantees on how long, but he was spot-on in his estimate. Yes, I could have gone elsewhere for cheaper (maybe), but I believe I got more than I paid for. The office is modern and comfortable. The waiting room is very comfortable and well stocked with magazines! The front desk employees are just as sweet as can be, they're really great about fitting you in when you've done something stupid with your braces. You never have to wait long to be called back. All of the techs were really good at what they do, and very gentle on my teeth (which can be a little sensitive at times). Dr. Simon himself is awesome. Very low key, very gentle and very calming. He will be direct if you've been a slacker, although he always has a few words of praise and encouragement to keep you motivated. He really knows what he's doing - he is up on all the latest developments and technology, which was important to me, and truly wants you to have a wonderful smile. Thankfully the consultation then worked and he stopped! Then around 10 years old, our dentist recommended we see an ortho because of the crowding. We of course went back to Dr. Bass who did x-rays. He said there was cause for concern but said we could wait 6 months to track progress and see if they would naturally separate. I was thankful he wasn't just trying to 'sell me something' and wanted to give his body as much time as possible to self correct. At the next appointment we did x-rays again and saw little to no progress in the spacing where it was needed. So we decided to move forward with the braces. They've been on for 6 months or so now, and it's been going great! He always looks forward to his appointments, and most of all he loves and looks up to Dr. Bass. I came to fix my flared teeth and crossbite, but 10 months into treatment I was told my braces could come off even though my teeth are actually more flared then when I started and my crossbite was still present. (Compare my X-rays below to see my flare progress) When I requested my records for a second opinion, the office manager initially told me I could not have them until treatment was complete because they were "confidential," which is not true. The records I eventually received appeared incomplete and were missing documentation of IPR that was performed during treatment. I decided to stop treatment and requested all of my records on April 11, 2026. As of May 13, 2026, I still have not received everything. The office offered me $813 after I sign a release of liability, but they still have not provided a clear breakdown explaining how my refund was calculated. Very disappointing experience overall.

It's a busy practice (for good reason!), but the team is always professional, attentive, and efficient. We've had nothing but a positive experience here. Not only has the quality of care changed, but I've also had issues with billing. They attempted to charge me again for services I had already paid for in full. When I tried to resolve this, the office staff was unhelpful and dismissive. It's very frustrating to deal with these kinds of billing problems, and I would not recommend this practice given the current management.
