Hmmm this shop boast they have been around 30 years, sadly it looks like they have not cleaned…read moretheir tanks in that time. The tanks and heaters are covered in grey hair algae. The handwritten signs above the tanks are very difficult to read. Although I look at the fish on each visit I can not bring myself to buy any and risk putting them in any of our tank, this is a shame as they get some nice looking fish in. The only thing i would buy from this store is dried food.

I…read morelike to go in and photograph the fish, as they get some nice specimens in, and the tanks seem clean enough to photograph through, which is usually a good sign. It has an olde-world caring atmosphere, and yet have some good bargains. There are a lot of different species in a small space, but each tank seems carefully looked after. I always come away cheered by my visit.

There are regular stocks of rabbits and guinea pigs which are well kept in an airy compound. Many hamsters and rats are also available for selcetion. Animals all look ill with the chinchillas they had constantly sneezing, budgies in very dirty cages, dead fish in the tanks. empty shelves. Really hope this sorts it act out and becomes top notch once again but for now I feel sorry for the animals they stock,
