I have 20 years of experience…read moregrooming dogs, 13 years grooming cats, and a lifetime before that grooming, training, and showing horses. I showed my first pony at the age of 4. Was competitive in 4-H huntseat, saddleseat, and horse judging. Going to regionals in the latter two. I later moved on to a dressage apprenticeship for 4 years. I bred and showed Paso Fino Horses up until 2003. I have very good intuition when handling animals that helps keep them relaxed and feeling safe. This allows me to sometimes complete tasks where others cannot. I don't guarantee success, but I'm willing to work as hard as you to try and fix problem behaviors in a gentle manner. I can do any reasonable style request for haircuts, deshedding is automatic with a bath. All appointments include ear cleaning, nails trimmed and filed, pads trimmed (only by request on short/double coated dogs), sanitary trim (as needed), and I can check anal glands to see if they're full but I do not express them. This is something a vet should internally. I also offer regular promotions to my best clients.
