Pricing is, yes, high, but you're paying for your vet to take the time to do the research for challenging health issues. You're also paying for the cost of using equipment for testing that they have invested in to provide a more comprehensive overall diagnostic experience for your pet. While we DO feel that some pricing is grossly overinflated with respect to markups for most products; including prescriptions you can get at Chewy.com far more reasonably, which we are now doing; we also feel our vet IS taking the time to answer our questions and provide the most up-to-date information available, even if they need to research and verify afterward for the most accurate info. With respect to appointment time issues, we ARE aware that when an emergency comes up where an animal requires IMMEDIATE treatment, we may need to wait and we RESPECT that.
