We showed up for our first STAR class with both puppies. Melania explained to us the unique challenges of having littermates and the need for separate and focused training in order to allow each puppy to gain their own confidence in themselves and their human, help the puppy to focus on their training instead of "pack mentality," and help to prevent later separation anxiety if the puppies are apart. Although we continued that set of lessons with both puppies, it was mostly so that my husband and I would hear the same thing at the same time (train the people) and jointly see how each puppy would react differently, had different motivations, had different personalities and different needs. After that, all training was done separately. We have had individual lessons to help target specific behaviors, and continue to take group lessons with each pup in separate sessions so they can practice being around other people and dogs in safe and controlled settings.

I never thought I will get another dog, but being an animal lover, I decided to get a new puppy. My luck, Mío is a very hyper doggie, a Border Collie. I searched and took him to various trainers in the St Cloud area, but not sure they were prepared to handle this new life partner. Then I remembered Jim's training. Mío started going to puppy day care four hours a day, three times a week. Oh, boy. He is already showing signs of a well behaved dog, one that can go in public places and be able to control his impulses. Jim's love for animals shows all the way in the manner he respects them, the level of patience, and the advice he gives me so I can continue his training at home. Wallace K-9 Doggie Boot Camp has helped Carter learn to not pull on the leash, not to jump on people, and to obey voice commands (Usually :)). Wallace K-9 has also trained us on how to be good dog parents to this rambunctious boy. I was in tears when we started taking Carter to K-9; his energy and strength were exhausting me. Now, he is so easy to manage and love. Their positive approach of exercise, discipline, and affection has done wonders for us all. I cannot recommend this program enough. I recently…read moreadopted my beautiful pitbull Pepper and I wanted to keep her active, healthy, and socialized with other dogs. That's when I found Natural Instincts on a Google search and decided to give it a shot. I signed up for the agility classes. For 99$ you can attend agility class either Saturday or Sunday morning for 6 sessions. The sessions expire within 12 weeks so when Pepper had to take a break because she got spayed, it was absolutely no issue. The majority of the class is focused on doing the agility course, but they also practice other things such as proper leash walking. The owner runs the class but there are always atleast 2-3 other trainers around to help. Pepper loves agility! She is a couch potato at heart but when she's at agility class she is always having a blast running and just being around dogs. A lot of obedience classes and dog day cares unfortunately discriminate against pitbulls but at Natural Instincts they are extremely bully friendly. Oh and they always have someone with a professional camera taking amazing pics of you & your dog. It's definitely nice having all these wonderful pictures of my dog (it's not like my camera isn't already full of pics of her). I have one week left from this 6 week package but I'll definitely purchase a new 6 week pass next class.

He was told it was going to be about 3 hours before she would be done because there was another dog before us that had not been taken back. Now my dog is sitting in the back room of the groomers for 3 hours. What is the point of making an appointment if they are not going to honor it. There was no explanation as to why the dog before us was put into our appointment time. I don't understand why there was not a phone call letting us know they were running late. If I was there I would have taken my dog and left. I will never use this grooming service again. Very disappointed that they don't have basic customer service skills.

I just outed myself as a cat lady lol. All in all the customer service is great, the selection is great, and I highly recommend this location!
