I called Muttworks after hearing about them from a friend. Keith, the owner, came to our home a few…read moredays later for a consultation. Rip, our year old German Shepher, was big and unruly. He wasn't mean, he just wanted to play. he would jump up on us, and our small kids, and knock them down. After 3 week of training, in house at Muttworks, Keith brought him home. Rip is now the perfect dog! Our kids can now play with him, with no worries of being tackled! When we take Rip in for group classes, the other trainers come up to him, call him by name, and tell him how proud they are of him. Keith, along with his staff, are loving, and treat Rip like he is their dog. If you have a dog, that needs some training, I highly recommend Muttworks. When we took…read moreour 6-month-old (now almost a year old) German Shepard to them, he was very reactive, scared of going out to stores, the vet, or meeting new people... All of these were a nightmare for me (and him). Now we can go out to stores, do outdoor activities, and even with groups of people. I was so impressed with how they turned his training around that I have also taken his "sister" a 4-month-old German Shepard to have her trained as well (dropped her off for training at 12 weeks old to start her off right). I took 2 handfuls (fur babies) in and got 2 very well-behaved best friends back. After 6 months we are now in protection training, and it is going great. The classes are very informative and, most importantly, fun because let's be honest, if you're not having fun then your pet is not having fun and now, you're not going to classes. Everybody I have interacted with at MuttWorks has been very professional, friendly and more importantly, THEY LOVE AND TREAT EVERY SINGLE DOG THEY TRAIN LIKE THEIR OWN.

I was on the verge of tears, the day I was informed my two year old Aussie/Lab mix was not being a…read moregood citizen at doggie daycare. He was guarding resources, dominating other dogs, and had zero recall. Now, after working with Rachel @Integra Dog Training, he's a gentleman that sits and waits at doorways, until I walk through first and release him. He greets others, while sitting. He heels beside me as we go grocery shopping. He sits or downs and stays, while I walk away and out of sight, until I return to him and he is released. Most importantly, when I call him, he comes running to me and lands a sit in front of me. Rachel tailored our training to our life, visiting our home and addressing any issues or specific needs. She even taught him to safely enjoy kayak fishing with me. In the past month, my dog has been completely transformed into an amazing companion and I have been taught the tools to properly handle an intelligent, confident dog that has incredible drive. Jen is THE Dog whisperer!!!…read more Our Aussie mix has always been a big challenge for us. He is a very reactive dog and would often try to nip any poor soul, human or canine, who was within reach. Walking him was always a problem -- if anyone was on the same sidewalk, we had to change sidewalks. The solution was to walk him at the break of dawn when the streets are empty. We heard about Jen from a friend who recommended her very highly and explained that she was trained by the main man -- Cesar Milan! Jen confirmed this when we met her at Victoria Gardens where she wanted to meet Tuco to assess his behavior. She walked him up and down the busy sidewalks and witnessed for herself his unpredictable behavior when he leaped twice at people for no reason. Jennifer was very confident that she could train him so we left Tuco with her for three weeks. It was the best investment we ever made for him! We got back an unrecognizable Tuco who was so well behaved that he only had to be told a command once before executing! When we picked him up, Jennifer demonstrated his new behavior by walking a big Rottweiler that he didn't know on the same sidewalk. When the dogs passed each other, Tuco kept looking straight and did not engage the Rottie. This would have have been impossible prior to the training. Also, Jen gave us a training collar with a remote. When we put it on him before walks, he knows it's work time and we hardly ever have to correct him. While on vacation, Jen sent daily pictures and videos of Tuco and as time progressed we became more and more shocked with what she was able to do with him, like attending a concert at a public venue with tons of people around him or walking with him at Home Depot and Pet Smart! It is clear to us that Jen deeply cares for Tuco and established a clear bond with him. He's not just another dog getting training -- each dog gets Jen's undivided attention when it's worktime! Our only regret is that we didn't hear about Jen sooner! Tuco is not five and our quality of life and piece of mind would have been so much better if we had trained him sooner. Since that time, we brought in our other dogs to Jen, both American Eskimos, one with a HUGE temper! Again, Jen did her magic and he is the most well-behaved little guy! We can't recommend Jen strongly enough. Regardless of the problem or issues you have with your dog, Jen will take the time to understand his/her motivation and create an effective customized program. Jen is THE BEST!!!
