DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG HERE!! My dog was severely injured due the staff's negligence. The room has a cement floor or something similar because its easy to clean. The problem is when puppy jumps up and down on the hard cement floor it can cause injuries. Especially since they do not control the level of play and let it get out of control. I picked up my dog and they told me she fell hard and placed her in the pin to rest, but I found after an x-ray her left shoulder was broken and now needs surgery. They video tape your dog and will not let you review the tape, even if you have a concern. This behavior makes it clear that they have something to hide. Young energetic dogs should play in a small 11 by 11 cement room.. Save your money and your dogs health and go elsewhere. read more

The store side is great, but the grooming isn't that great, 60$ to groom a mini schnauzer, and they got his ear twice! And didn't finish. I recommend arctic tails! They do a great job for 45$ and the pup comes back super fresh, finished, no nips! And hair style at your request. Definitely don't recommend petco grooming :( read more

Tamara gave my Shepherd mix, Piper, a furminator grooming today for $66. She was so sweet with my dog, then, when I came to pick up my pup 3 hours later, Tamara was red cheeked and exhausted, and Piper who was "dropping her coat" didn't have a single stray hair left! I had been eating, sleeping, and bathing in dog hair for the week before the groom! Piper will be back! Thank you so much Tamara! You probably aren't looking forward to it! But we are! Worst experience, drop my dog off for a bath, my husband picked up the dog, I told him they have his collar and leash, they lady argued with him saying he did not have it there...got home and said they didn't have it, I called and she said let me go look ya it's here you'll need to come back and pick it up, 20 min drive both ways. I went in to get my two yorkies teeth cleaned and nails grinded down. They always do a great job with the nails but when it came time for their teeth to be done. They squirted some doggie tooth paste on a brush and moved it around for less than 20 seconds. I paid 11 dollars for that?! Outrageous. And Yorkie moms know they have teeth problems when they get older. read more

The real reason I'm giving this store a 5 star review is because of the store manager who I believe is named Michael. This is kind of a long story full of some very stressful plot twists. I brought my dog to this location for a grooming since I had just adopted him and prior to that he was a stray. I didn't know where he'd been before my home so I thought it was appropriate to pull out all the stops on his grooming. When I took him home I noticed there was some sticky fur patches on his back. I emailed petsmart saying that although my dog seemed to enjoy himself there was some missed spots. I then mentioned that I was also interested in training classes. The next day I receive a call from Michael who apologized and said he wanted to do the grooming himself and also signed me up for training for which I received a discount because I racked up some rewards for doing the majority of my shopping there. Over the course of this time I recognized that my dog needed a different type of home than the one I could offer right now for many many reasons. Throughout this whole process Michael was very supportive and compassionate. During one of our conversations I briefly mentioned that I may request a refund but I wasn't certain if I was going to rehome my dog. The next day the Assistant store manager (forgive me I forgot her name) called stating that Michael had communicated to her that I might request a refund. They both knew about the hairy situation I was in and without hesitation refunded all the money and reassured me that just because of the situation my dog and I were in that he was not a bad dog and that I was not a bad person and that situations like the one we were in happen in the pet owning community. The managerial team show their customers that they care. They respond to feedback. They treat people how people should be treated! They treat pets how pets should be treated! read more

DO NOT... I repeat DO NOT USE THEIR GROOMING SALON!! They screwed up my dogs hair cut and when I went back for them to correct it, they actually cut my dogs ear. I complained again and Was then "redlined" from all PetSmart grooming salons. My complaint was simple a phone call to the store manager. At no time was I rude or unreasonable. I have been a retail manager and understand the everyone has a bad day however, when a dog is injured it is the responsibility of the store to contact us. . I didn't get loud or ugly at the salon and in fact paid for the cut. Chloe, the salon manager, was nasty and wasn't willing to admit that their salon might be responsible. If a cut is not breed appropriate and if a dog is injured a customer has the right to complain but should not be banned from using another stores services. I've spent thousands and thousands of dollars at Pet. My sons worked for them throughout his high school years, I do not think one employee should be able to ban a customer. read more

Nice, new PetSmart located on Dimond Blvd. This is the only place where I can buy my cat's food in 16 lb. bags so I don't have to go to the rocery store every two weeks for the small bag at Fred Meyer's. Not only that, but the prices are really good. It was under $19 for my 16 lb. bag at PetSmart and over $13 for half as much food at Freddie's. They also carry a few different varieties of the crushed pine-style kitty litter that I *love* (it lasts so much longer than clay-based litter and smells so much better). There are toys galore for your critters and all sorts of other accessories. All around I was pleased with my visits to PetSmart and will continue to shop here. read more

HORRIBLE DOG GROOMING. Hailey a blonde groomer let my dog fall of their table and get hung! I could not believe it! And then she just stood there and did nothing! I had to run in there and then they finally got her up, now my dog is terrified to go there, when she used to love it. Hailey couldn't even hold my dog back on the leash, she shouldn't have tried to take on a dog she couldn't handle. Now my dog is having problems breathing and they still tried to charge me. Don't bring your animals there, you never know what they will do to your animals that hurt them. read more

This is my favorite place to go in town if you are looking for pet supplies! I go here often now since I have a new hamster. But, once you go inside it's easy to find what you are looking for. My only problem is that it's hard to find an employee to speak to. You usually have to go around the store looking for one, but they should be around the fish area. Prices are inexpensive, and they get new items every now and then. Overall, this is a much better store than PetZoo. read more

Guy on the phone quoted me about $70 for bath, nails and trim. I get there and it's $90 something.. plus $7 for this and $10 for that.. they will clip the nails but filing them is another fee. Wth? I used to take my dog to the groomer in Vancouver for $15-$30 look up Frankos grooming. Then we get a call, they won't finish grooming the dog because the dog is bleeding? Did you make the dog bleed? The pet hotel was ok, the staff were nice but I paid for two of my fur boys to be in the same suit but they split them up and put them in a wire cage! But still charged me for a suit. I know cause I went to check on them 20 min before they closed the store. Also the second day, I found out the two blankets I gave my fur boys to remember our smells and relax were taken away from them, washed and misplaced! So my boys did not have their blankets overnight but some used ones that were not even mine. Finally, the suit I paid for was supposed to have a tv in it but I didn't see any TV there. Overall, it could've been better but I'm happy the staff members were polite and helpful. They were just a little lost at times and disorganized. I'm just thankful to the staff members that they cared for my fur babies for two nights. read more

Careful if you live out of town and book a stay at the hotel and grooming. Their call center is in Arizona. My dog was just recently diagnosed with epilepsy. I told the call center and they said everything would be fine. The only reason we took our dog on the 6 hour drive was to get her groomed. (No dog grooming in our small remote town.) After our drive on horrible roads, we check our dog in and was told they can't groom her because of her disease. They only can groom her now M-F. Apparently the call center did not tell the grooming salon. I was furious. Made the comment well I guess I shouldn't have said anything. When we picked her up less than 24 hours later, she was bathed and face trimmed but that's it. I was then told that if I "lie" about things I can be barred from services from manager. Funny...because I'm not coming back. To top it off I paid $30 for that bath and face trim. #ripoff #nochainstoresformydog read more

I have 2 dogs, a husky and a sharpie. Both are friendly, not aggressive at all. I have had their nails ground several time at this place and can tell you...STAY AWAY! One particular employee failed to secure the bar on the table and dropped it on my dogs head several times. She did not apologize and even got rough with my animal, like it was her fault! Then she tried to get my other dog to go to her and my dog was not having it, so she proceeded to drag my dog across the floor!!!!!! At that point I grabbed my dogs and told her if she didn't like animals she should work in a library, not a pet store. She made no apologies and even made the comment that it was my fault and that I should have left during the grooming, because it was my presence that made my dogs difficult. I told her she would NEVER touch my dogs again. Fast forward 3 months, dogs needed their nails ground, so I call to make sure she is not there. All is good so I grab my pups and go. I get there she is there, but so is another employee and she is friendly and happy with my pups so I figure as long as its not her, ok. I go to the counter to check in and she says, " your dogs rabies shot is expired" we cant take them. I told her no they are not and showed her the tag on the collars. She said she need to see the shot records and I told her I did not bring them because we were just her 3 months ago and the shot is not expired. She just rolled her eyes and walked away. I went home got the records, called the SPCA, where my dogs get vaccinated and had them fax the records..so there was NO way to deny they were valid. I went back and showed her everything. She NEVER SAID ONE WORD. no I'm sorry, No, My mistake, NOTHING. Her coworkers also do nothing.! I wasted and ENTIRE afternoon trying to get something done that should have taken 15 minutes. Do yourself a favor steer clear if you love your pet, because these people DO NOT act like they like animals. And where the hell was the manger?! read more

The staff there are wonderful, and I felt they really cared for my dog. On my dog's last day on earth they took great care of her and Nina was so worried about my dog she stayed behind even after I got to the vet. Luckily I was able to be there during her last moments. I feel bad doing this, because Tamara was actually excellent and my dog looks great, however I was overcharged and when I brought it to their attention I was brushed off essentially. I was charged for a Shih tzu premium cut, when I have a Maltese/papillon mix, aka "papatese." This would seem like it's not a big deal, however the Shih Tzu cut is more expensive than either the Maltese or papillon. I was told that her fur was more like that and her size. I would have been ok being charged for a Maltese cut. I would have been ok being charged for the more expensive papillon cut. Charging me for the even more expensive Shih Tzu cut, when my dog is 8 pounds and Shih tzus are 10-20 is not ok and incorrect. If I had a Shih Tzu, then I would be ok with it. Further, they had a sign posted about a military discount and told me to just ask at the register and they added it at the register and then said it was only on Tuesdays and today was Friday. Once again, I am fine with that if they hadn't just told me I would get one at the register. I work in customer service. I have a heart for everyone that does as well. I know the customer is not always right, however first off don't lie about what the customer's dog is to charge more. Second, if you tell someone they will get a discount you either honor it or you don't tell them it applies. That's pretty much rule one of customer sat. They had terrible customer service. They did not take care of the customer. They also lied on my receipt. read more

A decent place, but the dogs don't go outside when they are there for the day. The price for boarding/daycare is a little high, but not outrageous. The prices for their retail goods are a little too high, but I think that comes with the large store they have. I don't know what training they have for their animal handlers,they don't seem particularly knowledgeable, but they don't seem clueless either. read more

Ive never been so dissatisfied with a store or with the customer service they give like I am with petsmart grooming on dimond. Every time I go there for grooming the girls in there are so rude. On 2 seperate occasions, they cancelled my appointment for no reason and when I show up to my appointment they say they can't find my appointment and don't even try to reschedule or apologize for the inconvenience. I go in today to get a brush out for my dog, and they claim they can't find my name or my account (mind you, I jus had an appointment less than a month ago under my name and have used my name on several appointments), then they say they found the account under my fiancées name but they don't have any shot records for her. I jus brought her in less than a month ago!!! During this whole process, the girl helping me jus sounded so rude and could care less about helping us or resolving the issue when I was obviously upset. They have officially lost a customer. read more
