Upon first sight of my dogs discomfort with her anal glands, we visited this location to have them tended to. When the grooming associate asked what we were visiting for, it was the sole thing I expressed interest in. She suggested my dog also could use a nail trim and since I was already there, I agreed. With two additional couples behind me each with barking dogs, I agreed to her statement of "I'm just going to ring you up for the (whatever) package." I paid for the said package and trusted that my purpose for visiting was satisfied. That evening my pup still showed signs of discomfort which I attributed to the procedure and dismissed. After a week of worsened discomfort I took my pup to the vet. I thought her discomfort was unrelated to her glands since I got them serviced. My vet confirmed that they were in no way possibly serviced due to the severity of the impaction. I immediately went to the store and shared my experience with the manager on duty along with my vet invoice of 177.00 to which he committed to addressing with the store manager the following day. As the following day approached ending, I called the store to follow up. After being on hold for 25 minutes, I was informed that the store manager Rita was "on a phone call with corporate" and I needed to "call another time." I suggested that instead, Rita call me when she is available. I finally spoke with Rita who had no awareness of my experience. She committed to investigating further and contacting me the following day. Rita called me the following day to deny any responsibility for the situation because I was not charged for the anal gland service by their standards. With a condescending tone, she then questioned why I "paid for a service not knowing what all it included." I would like to reiterate that it is not the responsibility of the patron to micromanage their ringing procedures and package verbiage. It was LOUD. I was managing two barking dogs in a small area with other barking dogs. I trusted that the cashier was providing the service that I came for. Not only did my poor pup suffer for a week, but I'm out of the cost of the "package" as well as a vet visit! Days since the last conversation and a commitment to "look into it further with the associate who rang me up," and NO FOLLOW UP CALL. No empathy from Rita or corporate customer service what so ever. They truly do not care about your animal or your experience! BE WARNED! read more

I always come here to buy whatever I may need for my snake, cat, and fish. It's super close and it's generally an ok visit. Today I was there wanting to buy 4 fish and I asked someone up front and they called someone to help. I waited 15 minutes and I went back to ask if she could call someone again. The person that should've/would've been the one to grab the fish for me was there and in a nasty attitude said "yeah. I'm dealing with other stuff right now." Had she just told me she'd be with me soon or whatever then ok, I would've browsed other areas of the store. But the fact that she was so nasty made me want to leave. So I left and will do my best to never have to come back to this store. I'd rather go to the Pet Supermarket that's near by or even the Walmart before I come back to this store. read more

Update: Reached out to Corporate. Petsmart District Manager Ronnie Z contacted us immediately & went above and beyond our expectations in rectifying the situation, we thank you for that. Our pet was seen by Dr. Amanda Werner and Christopher (which were amazing) of the Banfield Pet Hospital. Her marks are healing nicely, they expressed her glands and provided medication for her ears. I think I can retract my anger a little bit from my previous review and say that just because one person couldn't do their job correctly, doesn't mean that the rest of the good people at Petsmart should have to take the heat for it. Although we will most likely not return to the grooming salon, I can say that we would return to Banfield and to Petsmart in general for all of our pet needs. read more

Wow the customer service has gone down TREMENDOUSLY! I called the store to confirm if they had catnip/grass in stock and I was told over the phone by a young lady that they did. I left the comfort of my home on a rainy day to drive all the way over there to discover they did not have it in stock. Trying to get help in that store is like trying to find waldo! When I askd for help from a girl named Frangalina she did not help me but only pointed to where it would be and I continued to ask for help and was greeted with a disgusting attitude and disrespect. I asked to speak to the store manager and she never came out and I was told by Frangalina that she is busy assisting customers like they ALL are (as if I wasnt a customer). How they are still in business is BEYOND me. I will continue to shop at petsupermarket where I am treated with respect and GREAT service and where the store associates ACTUALLY walk you to a product. read more

I come in at least every two weeks to get cat food and always have a pleasant experience! The staff is very helpful. Call ahead if you are looking to buy a specific product or animal, though. Also, beware that even though a product is supposed to arrive on a certain day, it may not. Overall, the store is clean and well kept. The staff will help you bring stuff to your car, too. Sometimes the line is long, but there is nothing to be done about that. This will continue to be my favorite Petsmart in the area! read more

I went into Petsmart this past weekend because I needed food for my doxie. They carry a good number of the higher quality foods (though I couldn't find California Natural there). What impressed me was that I was able to find my dog a Halloween costume here for a decent price. I usually order dog novelty items online because I feel like these chain pet stores have a very high markup. This past weekend all the Martha Stewart pet costumes were 75% off...and this is a good two weeks before Halloween..I was thrilled. I was able to get my dog an adorable crocadile costume for less than $5..which let's face it, is the most I should be spending on something she will probably wear less than an hour before she is annoyed with me. The bottom line is I'm thrilled that Petsmart was offering a reasonable priced novelty items...I even picked up a cute halloween squeaker toy for $2. Customer service was good, the checkout lines were short, and the cashier was friendly. read more

Tanya & Brandon at on Turtle Creek in Coral Springs are cream of the crop employees! They are so good with my dog! He strongly dislikes getting his nails done, he's a bit of a baby... lol. I've been bringing him here for his whole life, 6 years or so. They are both professional and knowledgeable and I know they really love the animals and their jobs!! They are quick and they do a great job. Tanya suggested a few years back that I have his nails done with the grinder rather than the nail clippers and I've followed her advice ever since. I missed them during the pandemic and since we have to make frequent visits to his vet's office due to health issues, I had his nails just cut there. They were NO WHERE NEAR as well as they've been done at PetSmart. At the vet I paid more, plus it didn't even look like his nails were cut. I had two ask on two occasions after examining his nails before we left if they were even cut. I highly recommend grooming here! Thank you!!! read more

Purchased some fish from Scott. Excellent customer service. Patiently answered every question my 8 year old had.

The food aisles are filthy and covered with bugs. We bought a bag of dog food and found maggots inside. I understand that this can happen from time to time and it's no ones fault. However, we went back to buy a new bag and in the corner, under the top we found on many many bags, cocoons, spider webs and a range of other bugs. We went back recently because we were nearby and found nothing has changed. One bag had a half cocooned worm with half still sticking out. The people here are nice but I don't know how they could allow the bags to be so dirty. There are also tons of flys and moths always flying around those food areas. read more

The grooming salon is great, Gaby is great, she was great with my Pom, I payed $37 for a full service groom for my Pom where other places have charged me over $50 for what I want and even then my dog doesn't look right. But with Gaby at Petsmart my dog looks really great. read more

This store is great. The customer service is very good here. I couldn't find my dog food and they assisted me with no problem. I had my dog trained here in the classes with Philis about 5 years ago and she was great. Really helped my dog come a long way with behavior issues. This store is clean and organized with good deals too. I would also recommend getting on "pet perks"(it's free), for various discounts on certain items. read more

They're really nice here! We took our little Layla here for her first grooming. She's a maltipoo and at the time only weighed 5.5 pounds. She was only 3 months and a half too. She didn't get shaved because she's too young. She got the puppy package. Layla came back all brushed out looking like a little doll, bow in hair and everything. As a new pit bull puppy owner I was expecting to have a hard time finding veterinary care for my pup due to the prejudices against these gentle dogs. PetSmart not only welcomed us, they LOVE pits! Our vet is Dr. Ward who just radiates love for animals! They way she cares and addresses the needs of my pup make my heart melt. We love our vet and couldn't imagine having anyone else care for our Pitbull puppy. PetSmart has an affordable car plan for puppies and adult dogs. I plan on keeping my dog on this plan for as long as possible. Our pit is a hit as PetSmart! read more

Rating the grooming section. I have brought my Irish doodle here twice and asked them specifically not to make him look like a poodle and they did. I don't understand what's so hard.... The last time I took him there I asked them to cut his hair around his butt and nether region and they actually shaved him, gave him razor burn and then he started biting and scabs formed. We took him back and told them it was unacceptable and Petsmart took the Banfield tab, as they should have. It's a darn shame that they can't follow instructions. It's pretty sad when one of the Banfield employees said, "I wouldn't take my dog there". Never again. From now on I will use Shampoodles- Wiles and Lyons Rd for all my dog grooming needs. read more

Same old Petsmart. I walked in on a Saturday about 6pm and there is the usual line. There were about 15 different groups in line. As I walk towards the back to get my dog food, I look for other employees. The first I find are two stocking the cat food. I asked them if they were going to open more registers, one immediately goes to the front. Why is it that I have to get someone to open another register. Where are their processes to avoid lines? This is the best pet store I have been to. A few times I have went on a search for certain products and I compared Petsmart, Petco, and Pet Supermarket around the Coconut Creek area. After doing this a few times I came to the conclusion that this Petsmart had quality products at the best prices. The people that work here are great. I took my German Shepherd there today for a spa day, Bath, Trim, Nail trim and teeth cleaning at 1pm. They told me 3-4hrs so I went back at 450pm to pick her up and the young girl told me that She had not gotten to her yet and she was going to start on her now. She claims it took so long for her to dry after getting the initial bath. So they had her in a cage for 4hrs with a dryer. I told her absolutely not to please give me my pet and i would not be returning EVER...No consideration at all to call and give me an update and obviously and most importantly no consideration to my pet for her discomfort. The Manager was very apologetic but I feel is responsible for her operation and they should staff properly and not assign 6 or more pets to 1 groomer. Never take your dog to the grooming salon on this Store. When you take your dog to a company as big as the PetSmart you expect a better management with knowledge about the service. Well I took my dog back after 6 days to complain that the next day after the bath she had and still has dandruff all over her coat. I wait for 6 days to take her back and my dog looks worse than ever and I explained to the store manager Arturo, his name. And I told that the right thing to do was to offer me to bath my dog again for free. He told me that he couldn't do it, gave me tons of excuses and he offer me to next time that I bring my dog to get the regular bath they would upgrade to a medicated shampoo. I really like this place but haven't used many of their services besides buying pet beds, toys, and collars. They have a better selection of collars than their competition for sure. Plenty of toys and odds and ends for all animals. Their dog food appeared a few dollars more per 25+lb bag than their competition so we held off on that since we didn't want to bother with any "price match" games that may or may not be played at stores these days. It sure is handy with smart phones these days to instantly search what competitor prices are and make a decision accordingly. Their employees seems to genuinely enjoy seeing pets come inside. We've been there 3+ times and each time was with our doggie, who always gets some treats at the register. Thumbs up! Pretty clean store. It's extremely hard to find this location even with directions and an address. I bet zero people "stumble" on this location. There is a small sign or two on the building, but they're completely obscured by trees and aren't visible until actually in the petsmart parking lot. read more

Absolute disappointment!!! First they cancelled my appointment with the answer "you can reschedule if you want..." and then on the actual appointment I ended up walking away because they told me they weren't able to brush out a few knots in my dogs hair. I was waiting for my dogs groomer for 15 minutes, nobody knew where she was and while I was waiting the other staff members told me my options were either to shave the dog or "cutting his skin open by trying to cut out the knots". I'm absolutely disappointed and shocked at how this staff handled this situation. If a groomer can't brush out a few knots then I don't know how you can call yourself a groomer. They told me I can brush out the knots myself and bring him back. Never had any problems with little knots in his hair before, I guess it's the natural procedure of any other groomer to brush them out... But not for petsmart apparently. Super super disappointed and angry at how unprofessional that was. I'm done with petsmart for good now, too many bad experiences and this was literally the tip of the iceberg. Thanks. read more

They said they left me a message and I should have left them a message if I needed an appointment. Umm that's why I called to begin with and you gave me the wrong day! I went to the Coral Springs location yesterday to have my dog groomed. Unfortunately it was a very bad experience. It started out by being asked if I wanted his nails done, so the girl without explaining the different options upgraded him from the nail trimming in the package to the nail grinding - I said when she showed me the price that it didn't make sense and she was like the nail grinding is not included in the package - I had to quiz her to clarify what was included and then I said I want the package that is what I have always gotten my dog. I do not appreciate being upsold in such a sneaky manner. I wish I had followed my gut and walked out right then. But I have always had a good experience at Petsmart so I stayed. At that time I asked for the hair on his tail to be cut along with the rest of the hair. I came back 4 hours later to pick up my dog and I paid - then came back to pick him up. His tail had not been cut, so I said to the girl who had taken him at drop off that I had asked for the tail to be cut. She was like "well we thought you would just want it untangled" I specifically asked for it to be cut at drop off with this same girl! So they quickly and badly cut his tail hair (I could have done a better job). At that point, I was just like forget it. So I left, well my dog was unusually upset and wanted to be held so I was holding him and he smelled bad. He clearly had not been bathed. At that point I decided to speak with a manager. I called and spoke with Rita who was very nice and understanding and said to come back in for a refund. Rita really redeemed the situation, but I went in this morning and for the refund and spoke with Edwin. Whose response was well what is the groomer (Brandon) going to tell me when I ask him if he bathed your dog. I said I don't know and I don't care, my dog was clearly not bathed and now I feel like Edwin practically accused me of lying about it. So while I might have returned to buy food, toys and other dog stuff, now I will not be returning to Petsmart for anything. read more

I gave them one star because this site does not allow me to give 0. I scheduled an appointment to get my Yorkie groomed and everything went as I thought it should on the phone. The person on the phone gave me an 11 A.M. appointment. a young woman called me the day of at 9 A.M. asking me if I can stop everything that I am doing and drop off the dog immediately because she is bored. I told her I had errands to run and I would be there as soon as I could and there was a reason I picked 11:00 A.M. Then she called at 10 A.M. Asking me where I was and if I was going to take longer because she has a busy schedule. 20 minutes later she called again and said with an attitude " if you are not going to come in I will have to reschedule you" I said " I do not understand why you are acting this way when my appointment is at 11:00". I said I was going to cancel and that this was not customer service and she said I will cancel and hung the phone up on me. I will never go back as long as that lady is there. I am a long time and loyal shopper of Petsmart, starting in 1996 when they had a store in Lighthouse Point. I have shopped in other pet stores through the years but always buy the bulk of what I need at Petsmart. There is an employee at the Turtle Creek Drive location that has really "wowed" me. HIs name is Joe and he is truly awesome. Everyone at this location, including the managers are wonderful and always helpful but when Joe is there and he sees me walk in, he always comes to greet me and asks what he can do to help me. He is extremely knowledgeable of store product. He always has a smile on his face and willing to do whatever I need him to do. I have been doing cat rescue for 20 years and my days are long and tiring but his smile always picks me up no matter what the day has dealt me and always thanks me for what I do for the kitties. He is genuine, kind, helpful, courteous, intelligent and check out is always fast and easy, including loading my van with all the food I have purchased. He is truly an asset to the Petsmart Corporation as a sales associate but I feel they are not tapping into his full potential. . . he would make a great store manager!!!!! He truly cares about all the customers and it shows. read more
