I have always found PetSmart in Coral Springs is very convenient. Their hours are M-F 9-9, Sat 10-6 and Sun 10-6. They have an on-site Banfield Vet as well as a groomer. They also do pet training. The last time I was there they had a large area for online order pick ups. They are always well stocked and I have always been able to find what I went in for. The store is alway well maintained. Well behaved, leashed pets are welcome. They have a loyalty program. I brought my dog in for a picture with Santa. Santa was very patient. The current roster is 4 cats, 2 dogs, 1 parakeet, and the latest member to join the family, Hopper, a domesticated rabbit that someone dumped out near a busy road. Poor Hopper has a mite infestation that he is currently being treated for. I came in to get his hay pellets, shampoo, and food for Hedwig the parakeet. I like that they have a good selection of products and they also sell live animals including small mammals, birds, and fish. I was warmly greeted when I entered and helped to the right aisles. I have used their veterinary services at Banfield Clinic through the years and have been pleased and they have one in this store. They also offer grooming services. I really appreciate how they help out the local recues by displaying their animals. There are a couple of sweet cats up for adoption right now. When they check out you can join their rewards club which entitles you to discounts, coupons, and a gift on your pets birthday. All in all, a great shopping experience. read more

This location has gone down hill and it's terrible. Tried to get my dogs nails trimmed yesterday and the lady was a B***H. Walked out. Went back today and the lady was super nice got my dogs nails trimmed in less then 10 minutes. The groomers opens at 8am tried to pay for my dogs nails and her 65 dollar food. The lady upfront decided today I couldn't pay for the nails until 9am and food until 10am. Never had this problem before as I always go when they open grooming. Didn't smell like wet dog like other pet stores I have visited . They have a grooming service and a pet care (I am bot sure what vet services they offer though) area. I placed an order online and picked up at this store. The process was very easy, I even got a discount for ordering online. The person who checked me out was very nice and courteous. One star is too many. Today was my last day ever shopping at this location. Customer service is usually is non-existent at this store but today I needed something and didn't have time to go to my preferred pet store in Coral Springs so I thought I would just run in and grab what I needed and go since it's the closest store to my home. Employees that work in the aquarium department are so incredibly rude. Either they completely ignore you (like today) or they are busy chatting on their phone or with other coworkers then act like they have to do you this big annoying favor by helping you and give you such attitude. Called grooming for a nail trim for my dog, and said they were closing at 3:00pm instead of 4:00, typical Florida laziness.

Experience at the Turtle Creek groomers: TERRIBLE. I took my Great Dane to have his nails grinded down; I strictly do NOT clip because they are too thick to be clipped. I know this because we have been regulars at a different petsmart location and this is the procedure we have come to understand worked best for him. I did inform SHEA (the groomer that did this awful job) of this and she disagreed and told me she wanted to try clipping and then grinding. I said again my preference for him and she claimed to understand where I came from. I left the room and stood on the outside of the window watching. She first tried to put him on a table and had trouble and she proceeded to TRY and walk him to the back, he was not comfortable with going and did make himself heavy and laid down; she then pulled him by the lead, dragging him, and tied him to a station. She started the process and I watched my dog flinch and Yelp then turn his face around to LOOK. No teeth were shown no aggression either. I see a look of impatience and frustration as she quickly stood up and snatched something from a coworker. The object was a muzzle that she clipped on my sweet dog TOO TIGHTLY and made him even more frightened as he's never even needed a muzzle before, I watched as she proceeded to clip his nails and he again, yelped, this time he felt pain and backed all the way to the front door and by this time I did come back in and interfere. I took the muzzle off myself and expressed how unnecessary her treatment was to my dog and I didn't finish the session. SHEA, had no remorse for hurting or making him uncomfortable; not an apology at all. The only positive from this experience was the manager, RITA, who took care of us and helped us purchase our own nail grinder. read more

I have always been fairly happy with PetSmart. However, right now I am very unhappy with them. Went to get my new puppy photographed with Santa and the picture is coming in an xml format. It will not save, open and I took time out of my busy day to get this picture taken with Santa. I was going to share my picture with family members of the new member of our family. I have contact Arturo at the store, contacted customer service, and the main District Office. No one has been able to rectify the problem. PetSmart needs to make sure they know what they are doing before doing photographs with Santa. read more

I went there last night for the first time. I just did a review yesterday for Pet Supermarket & gave them 4 stars. Well I am giving PetSmart five stars. Don't get me wrong, I still like Pet Supermarket but I was extremely impressed with PetSmart. Upon entering the store I was greeted immediately. That's always a positive sign. I asked where the dog supplies were located & a sales associate named Joe actually walked me to the area I needed to be in. Expecting him to walk away, I was pleasantly surprised that he started asking questions regarding my dog & what kind of items I was looking for. After expressing some concerns I had regarding collars verse harnesses, he explained to me in detail the differences between the two. He also asked me very specific questions about my dogs behavior & how my dog reacted around other dogs. I felt like he went above & beyond. I finally settled on a collar & a new matching leash & I was happy. PetSmart has a gigantic selection of dog supplies. They had collars & leashes in every color & style that you can imagine. I was overwhelmed at first but Joe quickly ruled out the ones that would not be suitable for my dog. I was extremely impressed with Joes knowledge of all the products & the high level of customer service I received from him. Joe also helped me find something called an Antler & assured me that my dog would love it. Joe was absolutely correct! Because of this magical Antler, my dog did not have a desire to chew on anything else last night. That made me sooo very happy. Thanks Joe! Again to my surprise, Joe opened a register & actually rang up my items himself. From start to finish I felt like he was my very own personal shopper. I hope his mgt team realize just how lucky they are to have him on staff. It takes a lot to impress me. Last night I was overly impressed. The store is clean, parking was easy & the amazing customer service just could not be beat. I cant wait to return to buy more goodies for my dog. Thank you Joe for all of your help last night. As an update to my previous review: the salon manager: Ashley called a week after my dog's horrible experience there and among what she said twas that he groomer had told her everything was fine and she herself was there while my dogs was being groomed and that she did not see anything out of ordinary. Again, this episode was on a Monday at 11am and almost sure no many resevations since they gave me the appointment the day before around 6pm. So after she said she didn't see anything wrong ; I asked Ashley (the manager) if she had seen the pictures she said no!!!! When a manager is going to talk to a customer already dissatisfied, the professional manager gets ready, prepared with the most information he/she can obtain. Ashley didn't and simply to my opinion because she didnt care, she doesn't really care for any of the animals safety even more she may not like them. I have seen Petsmart grooming service in the news with some deaths, 3 dogs at least. That doesn't sound right. So better this company start really caring and get more involved with te people they employ and really supervising what their e ployes do and how they do it. We get our dog groomed here and they always do an awesome job on his lion cut! He's an Aussie Shepard and he gets hot down here in Florida! The groomers are always friendly, great with our dog/make him look adorable, and they are always done when they say they will be. We've been coming to this location for years. More lately since the new addition to the family. The staff is always very friendly and got to know my boys name. So every time we arrive he is greeted with hugs and kisses from the staff. Everyone here is very knowledgeable and always willing to help. I'm also very pleased with the cleanliness of the store itself. Never once have I ever felt as if it were not properly taken care of. His food, toys, etc. Grooming salon: I took my puppy to have a bath & trim on Petsmart app/site they described this service as: "For puppies that need an introductory haircut. Helps become comfortable with the salon experience". The first time I took to the salon Ariel took good care of him. I brought him and a nice girl checked him in and told me he should be ready in 1h or 1h30. She called me in 30 min/40 min saying he was ready to go home, once I got there I met Ariel and she told me he did good, I was very happy and impressed with the service. So two weeks ago I decided to take him again (now he is 3 month old) to have the same bath & trim. Ariel is not there (I was disappointed) so I went online and read some of the reviews to pick a groomer, because I don't want him to be traumatized or hurt. I picked Gabrielle to take care of him. I got there before the appointment, and she told me 3h - 4h. I didn't process the time. After 1h30min I called to check on him, the girl that answered the phone said he wasn't ready, he was fine, not barking and it was going to take 4h. That's when I realized.. 4 hours.. 3 month old? No way... So I told her to cancel and I was on the way to pick him up. I got there and Gabrielle was very rude, said that if he couldn't stay there that long I should have booked the express service!" That's funny.. ON THE PETSMART APP THERE ISN'T EXPRESS SERVICE AS AN OPTION WHEN YOU TRY TO BOOK AN APPOINTMENT OR when I CHECKED HIM IN NO ONE (INCLUDING HER) OFFERED ME THE OPTION TO UPGRADE for express service! I didn't know about that and If I knew it of course I would've booked the express service for him. YOU AS A GROOMER know that a puppy is not used to salon, so WHY YOU DIDN'T OFFER THAT SERVICE????? So she said (rude again) "to take him you have to pay for the bath first". No problem... So I went to the front of the store and I paid for his bath ($12.99). When I went back to the salon with receipt, she got my puppy, when I saw him, he was scared and shivering! Are you kidding me?? My dog was fine??? And you wanted to keep him for 4 hours?? It's 2020, right? What kind of a store...when you check out...doesn't display the items you buy and their prices when the cashier scans them? Shows them on the display where you're going to ultimately insert your card and pay? Your scanned items' prices are hidden on another display behind the register...I complained about this...and the cashier flipped the display towards me and said, "Hurry up and look. It only displays for a few seconds." Are you effin' kidding me? What kind of stupid nonsense is this, that the customer can't see/confirm the prices of the items he or she is buying? Poor thing is traumatized This girl, Shea that assisted him. Was a hypocrite she's like he was so good. And they gave a lame progress report. When my dog got wet from the rain the whole truth came out. He was never mated enough in his ears to be treated this way. Had a small accident last night with a dog collar breaking so today I was instructed to buy a new one. I wanted something that looked pretty and wasn't too girly and settled on a sparkly black nylon caller with a pretty bow and a rhinestone in the middle of the bow. That made me happy. I also picked up some cat food that was on sale and some dog treats because they go through them like wildfire. I got a discount because I guess I'm a member and I was in the system and came up when I entered my phone number. I don't foresee this new collar breaking at all because it's nylon as opposed to the leather 1 that gave away last night. The only thing that is missing is a tag... Today I took my puppy here for his first grooming and he was super nervous. But they took good care of him and trimmed him up nicely. I did the puppy package which consist of face trim and feet trim nail trim and shaving cost extra $6 but was so worth it. He smelled amazing and his coat was so soft. They lady at the register was super knowledgeable and explained everything to me what was going to be done during his spa day. I'm so happy I made the choice to bring my little puppy here for his first grooming. You also get puppy prices til their six months old. How cool is that! read more

I dropped my dog off at 1pm for a full groom. At 4:15 I drove to Petsmart as it had already been over three hours, and they quoted me three hours for a full groom. Nobody called me at any point to tell me otherwise. When I arrived they told me they needed at least another hour maybe hour and a half to finish his haircut. I asked them if they had even started his groom and they told me that they had started it but just needed more time. After another 30 minutes of walking around the store I had to leave to get to work and couldn't wait any longer. I went back and asked if I could please have my dog and I would get his haircut finished somewhere else another day. They made me pay and went and got my dog. They had not even started his haircut. He was at Petsmart for four hours, and they had him in a crate the entire time. They never even began to groom him. They wasted my entire day and made me pay to keep my dog trapped in a crate for 5 hours. Never again!!! read more

We had our lab taken in for a bath and brush included with a nail trim and ear cleaning. The wait time was 5 hours! Picked our dog up who was petrified and ran out of the store. Soon after I noticed his nails weren't trimmed, he didn't smell any better, and his ears were soaking wet, INSIDE ONLY. I dried them out the best I could but into the night same day he started shaking his head and yelping. I had to bring him to the vet for an ear infection. We went back into the store where we were literally ridiculed for wanting our money back. Cashier (who took her name tag off) insulted us and threatened us too. The manager of grooming Quinn was standing right there as well and didn't offer an apology or nothing. My lab is the sweetest dog ever, as are all labs. He was clearly scared something happened. This store refused to do anything I had to go to corporate level. "Lauren" store leader laughed on the phone, which I have recorded as well for personal reasons. Said if I wanted my dogs nails clipped to bring him back in? Seriously. Not a single care or concern for the fact that something happened to my dog that scared him, I didn't get what we paid for, he developed an ear infection from sitting water. Confirmed by my vet. Then when we were offered a refund we went back to the store and was literally ridiculed and insulted for wanting our money back!! STAY AWAY!!!! I was shopping with my dog and she was saying hello to the other pups and smelling everything in the store. I got what I came for and was waiting in line. This employee walked past my puppy and she put her hand in my puppies face and I said no do not touch my dog. She then said she'll take me at register 2 she was rushing and ignoring me. I love this PetSmart location! The staff is always so friendly and helpful. I'm able to pull up the prices on Chewy.com and they will match any price that they are more expensive on and they will take competitor's coupons. I've used the grooming area to have my dog's nails clipped and they're fantastic! No one could manage my dog including her vet. She's a very strong pit bull that hates to have her nails clipped. Petsmart in Coral Springs Fl located In Turtle Creek Plaza are knowingly selling sick fish with Ick. They say it happens and if the fish dies they will replace it. Yes that's fine but when I now have to treat my whole tank and replace all my filters it is now costly. The manger says it happens, yes I know it happens but to still sell them and say it happened to you too doesn't ease the financial burden they caused. I would have never bought the fish if I was told there whole tank was being treated for the disease. It's one thing for them to sell sick fish unknowingly but to say yes you know your fish are sick and your treating your whole tank is not acceptable. There is a sign by one set of fish that's says not for sale and doesn't say why also it is not on your whole selection. After 3 rounds of treatment and hell my other fish are healthy and thriving. It just doesn't sit well that they know they have sick fish and will only cover just that fish not the whole tank they contaminated knowingly. Never buying fish from them again. Update: the day after and the following day after posting this, I lost 2 fish that were not purchased from them due to this situation. I will not request to have it replaced with a potential sick fish and start this whole process again. Very upset and disappointed that this could have been prevented. This review is solely based off the brunette who works pet care. As a previous employee of PetSmart, I was baffled to say the least that this person not only does not have knowledge of the animals of the store but then instead of asking someone for better information they would rather wrongly inform customers of how to take care of pets. Please do better of teaching your staff about pet care. Some people cannot fathom a job where it is required to do more than just speak to a customer. I am worried about the animals in the store under this person's care. She wrongly informed us that we need to get a new tank for our bearded dragon and that we need to switch to a vertical tank because they're more of climbers. While they do like to climb, they are not like chameleons and they do use horizontal tanks. They need a cooling side if they get too hot and they like to walk around. I cannot believe this is not basic knowledge and more so the fact she even said a horizontal tank is wrong. Please inform your employees better or next time I will start calling the corporate number and the store number to try and educate further. You guys need to care for the animals and not just care for making a purchase. read more

And then I couldn't believe the line at the ONE register. Waited a good 15 min to buy one box of frozen feeder mice. Upon first sight of my dogs discomfort with her anal glands, we visited this location to have them tended to. When the grooming associate asked what we were visiting for, it was the sole thing I expressed interest in. She suggested my dog also could use a nail trim and since I was already there, I agreed. With two additional couples behind me each with barking dogs, I agreed to her statement of "I'm just going to ring you up for the (whatever) package." I paid for the said package and trusted that my purpose for visiting was satisfied. That evening my pup still showed signs of discomfort which I attributed to the procedure and dismissed. After a week of worsened discomfort I took my pup to the vet. I thought her discomfort was unrelated to her glands since I got them serviced. My vet confirmed that they were in no way possibly serviced due to the severity of the impaction. I immediately went to the store and shared my experience with the manager on duty along with my vet invoice of 177.00 to which he committed to addressing with the store manager the following day. As the following day approached ending, I called the store to follow up. After being on hold for 25 minutes, I was informed that the store manager Rita was "on a phone call with corporate" and I needed to "call another time." I suggested that instead, Rita call me when she is available. I finally spoke with Rita who had no awareness of my experience. She committed to investigating further and contacting me the following day. Rita called me the following day to deny any responsibility for the situation because I was not charged for the anal gland service by their standards. With a condescending tone, she then questioned why I "paid for a service not knowing what all it included." I would like to reiterate that it is not the responsibility of the patron to micromanage their ringing procedures and package verbiage. It was LOUD. I was managing two barking dogs in a small area with other barking dogs. I trusted that the cashier was providing the service that I came for. Not only did my poor pup suffer for a week, but I'm out of the cost of the "package" as well as a vet visit! Days since the last conversation and a commitment to "look into it further with the associate who rang me up," and NO FOLLOW UP CALL. No empathy from Rita or corporate customer service what so ever.
