very disappointed today. have taken my dogs to Pet Smart for many, many years. I am 80 years old, disabled and my husband passed away. Today I was informed that I have to bring someone with me because they will not be able to assist me in getting Scout into the salon. I do not have someone who I would ask to do this. As I said I am 80 and so are my friends and neighbors! Will be looking for friendly replacement. read more

On August 2, 2017 I went to Persmart and found my baby Tots! She is our precious little kitten. The staff was so helpful after I went through the Talbort Humane Society to be able to get a cat. I got so many free things for my new kitten and I saved a lot of money. Thank you for the time and patience you used to help me with a new kitten. read more

Was completely flabbergasted by the rudeness of the woman who works there with the white hair. She sat there with one customer for a good 25 minutes and snapped at my husband for asking a basic question. He had already looked around and wanted to know if they even sold what he was looking for. She really was outlandishly rude. But the young woman with black hair that works there was super kind and finally came to the rescue once she observed the wait time. It was a shame the woman with the white hair couldn't at the very least have been kind if she didn't know how to multitask or atleast call for help when she realized she was going to take a half hour to sell a lizard to a man. The woman with the black hair knew how to get things done. But we'll do it on line from now on and from another company. That woman's ugly tone and rudeness was Just so jarring and the worst part. He could have waited and waited and waited but to have her speak to my husband with that tone is unacceptable on top of her inability to delegate duties or help any of the other customers. It's really not rocket science. When you go in the back grab the worms or fish. You have to have that skill at a job like that especially if you take forever to service one person. It's totally unnecessary. Do better Petsmart in Easton. read more

Too expensive for one!! They didn't pop her glands, so a week later she has a stench coming from her. Not to mention the actual bath smell lasted 2 days. I told the woman I didn't want the flea bath and she did it anyway. I will never take my dog there again. The groomers name was Yolanda. read more

This place is a joke and I hope it gets shut down soon. The manager Jim, is a horrible person and I've heard from several people that he's been rude and shouted at them over the phone. He seems lazy and irresponsible. I know several employees who have left the store because the animals are not properly taken care of. All the reviews I've read are bad reviews. I hear complaints from people all the time about how this company abuses their pets. Either they need to get a new manager or close down. They have no more animals coming in because of the crap conditions they're kept in, and no one seems to care about them. It's just money money money. read more

The staff at the Easton Petsmart is amazing!! My daughter Grace goes in there every week and spends her allowance and donations from friends and family, then takes them to local Pet Pantries and shelters; ARF in Kent Narrows, Talbot County Humane Society, SPCA of Annapolis, etc.. Amanda (just wonderful!) and a few other girls who work there have taken to Grace, and always talk with her about her passion for donating and helping shelter animals, once even pulling money out of their own pockets to cover some of her purchases. They have also, on several occasions, spent time introducing and educating Grace about the many different animals that live at PetSmart. She now really wants a guinea pig and a python! Manager Jeanine has been so great, spending a lot of time talking with Grace, answering her many questions, and showing never-ending patience and kindness. Well, today when Grace arrived, Amanda and general manager Jim blew us away by presenting Grace with packages of food, supplies, and a gift card for a shopping spree to help with her donations. The entire team at Petsmart contributed their own money for the gift card and supplies, and Jeanine organized the whole affair. My wife and I can't say enough about the team at Petsmart! You have made Grace feel so special! Thank you!!! read more

I just got my dog bathed at the Easton, Maryland location. She's a Saint Bernard, but has relatively short and thin fur. However, the bather recommended that I use the FURminator shampoo and conditioning treatment. She said that I would save three dollars on the package that included shampoo, teeth brushing, and nail grinding. The last time I was in, it cost $60 to have my dog taken care of. It was a very unpleasant surprise today to get an invoice for almost double that. If it is not company policy to post prices of add-on services very clearly in the grooming salon, then the bathers should at least make the customer aware of the upcharges involved at their suggestions. I understand that a large, furry dog is not going to be cheap to maintain, but this was a significant jump that absolutely should have been mentioned before the procedure was started. When I checked out at the register, the cashier did absolutely nothing when I told her about this. At the very least, she should have gotten a manager to come speak with me about it. There is a Petco much closer to my house, but I bring my dog to Petsmart because I've always been pleased with the service. I would like to continue to do so, but I feel like this is a policy that needs to change because consumer awareness and customer service are what keep people coming back. Today was a huge disappointment on both of those fronts. read more

Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. Petsmart should be more selective of who they hire, because most of their employees know NOTHING about these animals. I waited forever for someone to come help me in the fish department. As someone who has a history with all sorts of animals and fish, I was so very glad that I knew better than to listen to what they told me. The girl had NO idea what she was talking about when I asked her questions about the fish I was purchasing, tank mates, etc. She told me to put goldfish with my aggressive fish (tiger barbs). WHAT?!?! she was beyond clueless. And the cashier? Well she was too busy on snapchat to ring me up right away, so I patiently waited for her to finish her important business. Do not use this service unless you're willing to have your dog shaved because they tell you that they couldn't do the combing/matting necessary. My two shi-tzu dogs have gone to the same groomer for 3 years, every 4 weeks, w/o any problems. Then, with a relocation to this area, and without a referral to a groomer, we took them to the nearest PetSmart after an interview with Kim, the spa manager. We thought we were going to have a good experience based on her answers to our many inquiries about how the dogs would be handled. On the drop-off we were assured they would have the cut that we requested, Instead, on pick-up they were SHAVED, completely, without even facial hair. It's the middle of winter (polar vortex). One of them is senior and the other was beautifully coated with a lovely facial beard (not to mention eye lashes and mustache) and about a 4-5 inch coat which we know will take over 6 months to re-grow. The claim was that they were too matted to comb through. Really?? They were last at their regular groomer 4 weeks ago. Sad and very disappointing. DO NOT GO THERE if you have any desire to keep your pets comfortable and beautiful. Shame on them for destroying our dogs' coats. We're really sad for our dogs and will never use this service again. read more
