This review only pertains to their grooming department. The supervisor on staff was argumentative and unpleasant. She knew it too, so an hour into the appointment, she phoned us and said she wouldn't be taking our dog for grooming anymore because he had trouble standing for so long (he's a rescue with deformed back legs). I've watched her several times with our other dogs on other occasions, making the dog stand there while she talks for minutes at a time with the other staff, not even looking at or even touching the dog, easily doubling the time they have to stand there on that slippery table. She's just too arrogant for my liking, barrhaveners must be giving them too much business and it's gone to her head. The cuts were only mediocre, and they always forgot something that we specifically told them to do such as shaving our golden's tummy so she can stay cooler in the summer. There's too many good places around, and people don't have to put up with that. I have never given such a low review to a place, but her poor attitude can't be ignored. read more
