We always take our dog to Pet Smart on Lake Andrews, in Viera. We had an appointment today for 1:30. I got a call at 3:05 thinking they were calling me to tell me that our dog was ready. Boy was I mistaken, they called to tell me that someone came in for "express" grooming and they took their dog ahead of our dog and they were just starting on our dog and he would be ready around 5:00 PM. I asked what was the point of making an appointment, which as I said, we are regulars, that it seemed to me that their reason was greed, because they charged more for express grooming. Oh, no, they just couldn't leave their dog!! I used to think these were professionals, however, I found that a regular customer means nothing if they can make an extra $$ by ignoring a reservation and inconveniencing their every 2 week customer. I'm going back and forth. My little girl had her hair cut, a bath and had her nails ground down and she was fine when she came out to me, but it wasn't a great hair cut. It was a big longer than I wanted which means she didn't get a lot of hair cut off. It wasn't even and I found a beggar lice (the little green stickers from the grass) which means she didn't wash her very well and she definitely didn't brush her ears. I'm gonna give it another try, I don't want to make a snap decision because it takes a bit of time to get everyone used to each other. The price was very good, which I was very happy about. I took my husky to be groomed by Heather and manager Kim. They cut her two of her nails so badly, she cannot even walk. Then they called me and told me they could not groom her because she "has arthritis and could not stand up" when the truth is that she could not stand up because she was in so much PAIN due to the fact that they cut her nails to the bone/nerve. My dog has been immobile since this happened. She weighs 90 pounds and I have to lift her and physically carry her to bring her outside to urinate. She cannot get to her food or water dish, so I have to nurse her and bring it to her. I am worried if she is even going to make it. As she is 12 years old and can't handle the severe pain. Petsmart did NOTHING for me. They did not care at all! Heather and Kim should be fired immediately. I am so furious and worried. This place should be shut down. This is criminal. We been going to this place to have our dog groomed and it was amazing. But now we make appointments that get cancelled at the last second and then give us the wrong time to come the following day and when we picked him up the last 2 times we had to ask if they washed him . He didn't look or smell clean and when i asked they said we can spray him again with cologne. Seriously??? He supposedly just had a bath with the top of the line package. He came home itching and biting himself. So a complete waste of $70 . We will never go back and o don't recommend this place anymore . read more

What a pile of dog poop! It's chaotic, it's time of Covid and everything is shut down and just starting to open. I scheduled my dog for a much needed bath and hair cut. We live in GA and have a house in FL, our vet is in GA. Paisleys Rabies shot expired 5/19. It's 5/22 and Petsmart cannot give her a bath and haircut because her shot was due two days ago. Vet was only open for emergencies for past 60 days but not a big deal, we will get her shots next week when we are back in GA. I am just livid because 2 days? Really? Even the DMV gives you a 30day grace period. Just as well. Last time they cut her hair they did a crappy job. Really crappy customer service. PetSmart at the Acenues in Viera Blows! read more

We took our labradoodle there today and he got his worst haicut. He's been there numerous but today they said he was overly excited when on the table because of all the the other dogs there. For whatever reason he should have been given a good haircut...I had to come home and clean up his haircut because he had hair sticking up all over the place and the groomer Heather didn't even clean or cut inside his ears it's as if she gave up on him. She recommended coming in on a slower day mmm and what day would that be? I didn't request a Saturday appointment that's the day they gave me. And then on top of that when I went back in to leave a tip a unleashed dog ran out and I got blamed for that. Cooper won't be back! read more

My 17 year old Pebbles was shaved down by a groomer at Petsmart. I brought her there for a bath and trim...instead they shaved her down and cut her nails. I told them not to cut her nails as she was at the Vet the day before and they trimmed them. But they cut them anyhow.... read more

The worst haircut any of my dogs have ever had! The groomer cut off all of my toy schnauzers leg hair without permission! When I tried to speak with her about it afterwards, she just kept saying that I agreed to a short skirt and legs. I did not!! If I did, would I be upset that the hair is gone? My husband was there during checkin and either one of us would have told her the same if asked... she never asked! Just shaved it all off! The worse part was that neither the groomer or manager even care about it and would rather argue about how I agreed to it!!! Terrible customer service! I'd definitely stick to a local grooming company who actually cares! read more

Took my dog to get groomed and bath and when I got home I noticed she was not been the same, quiet and all day under the bed. So I checked her and she was full of cuts and raches. This is the second time they hurt my dog and I'll never take her there again. Very upset about it and I feel so sad to what my dog probably went through by this careless person. read more

You HAVE to bring your dog here to get groomed by Harley M!!! When we first got our dog Groot in 2018, we took him to a Puppy Class at PetSmart (which was also great) and they encouraged us to get him groomed early so he could get comfortable with the experience at a young age. So we did, and his first visit he got Harley. We thought because he was in Puppy Class that maybe he wouldn't be too bad...but we were wrong lol. He was horrible, didn't want to stay still, probably very anxious, but he was just scared because it was a new experience. It was disheartening that he wasn't doing well, but Harley encouraged us to keep bringing him back, so we were diligent and brought him back to see her again and again and finally the reports went from him being a bad boy to being such a good boy. He does so much better being handled during grooming. And he LOOOOVES Harley! When it's time for his appointment we ask him "wanna go see Harley?" And he immediately perks up, and as soon as we pull into the parking lot of PetSmart he's wagging his tail, so excited to see her! And she is always so excited to see him, which comforts us as dog parents. You can tell she loves her job and cares about animals, so your pet in good hands with her. We are so thankful for Harley - she could've seen how horrible Groot was to groom the first few times and tried to pawn him off on a different groomer, but she didn't. She stuck with him, and has spent YEARS loving on him and building a relationship with him so he's comfortable in that environment. I know there's always hesitation about taking dogs to groomers at chain stores, but he has had such a positive experience here with Harley. You can tell he's not just "a client" to her, but that she genuinely cares. It's been almost 2 and a half years of Harley grooming Groot and if we had it our way, she'd be his groomer for life! read more

Won't be bringing my dog here for grooming again. Called week + for appt with a specific groomer, gave several days. Person (young man) on the phone sounded disoriented and confused but finally after he asked several questions multiple times, got an appt which I thought would be Casey, the person who was recommended to me. Was very surprised when I should up for appt and another groomer (Heather) was assigned. Showed her a picture of what I wanted, was explicit in my directions. Results does not look like what I asked for. Uneven and choppy ears, tail longer than I asked for. bearded dragon and also bought the "top of the line" sanctuary for him. We had three choices and we chose the top one. It had all the bells and whistles because we wanted to make sure we were doing everything 100% correctly. We have adopted 32 cats, 7 dogs, 2 rabbits, 8 guinea pigs, and multiple aquatic animals in the last 20 years. All have been happy and healthy and we have found good homes for those well enough to go to another home. We have kept those with the most difficult disabilities and have 14 animals right now. LOng story short, the lizard became sick after 3 weeks and we rushed him back to the store to be seen by the vet. They claimed he didn't have the right lighting. They said they would pay for his care and I could get him in two weeks. Three days later the manager called and said they would not pay for his care and come pick him up or let him die (those were his words) or let the store have him and care for him and we might get our (merchandise) back. He was a member of our family, not merchandise. He died in their care three days later and we could never get any answer or story on what happened. We went to visit him twice and they didn't want us to see him. This is a total scam!!! They killed our pet!!! read more

Have been going to Petsmart grooming for awhile, however they never seem to cut my dogs hair as requested, he even had a thick line down the middle of his body on one of the cuts. When I raise the issues, they consistently act like it's no big deal and that I'm the problem. Time to find new grooming services. read more

For the past several months someone I don't know is using my name on some business account. PetSmart is one of those sites. When at the cashiers I am asked for my phone number -when both my name and his shows up. At a past visit I asked that his name be removed. While I stood there the cashier said that was accomplished. My next visit -his name again showed up. I was then told they could not remove the account -but they could remove his name and change it to mine. I was told that as accomplished. Today -his name appears on my account. I was told today to call corporate maybe they can help. I won't be going back! read more
