My little Betty seems very comfortable with her which really surprised me as she's a little standoffish with humans that aren't me. They are the worst Groomers ever!!! Took my Great Pyrenees there and they tarerized him so bad he was shaking and had diarrhea right outside the building. They did not comb him out and kept him for hours and told me I would have to pay charge me more because they had to have 2 people work on him. Instead of $80.00 they changed me $160.00. I called Corporate office to get a refund. And I had to go to the store to get my refund the manager told me I could never come back there. I told her I not to worry I wouldn't come back and I would let other people know never to bring any of their pets there. Booked an appt on line when my dog came down with a UTI and her regular vet did not have opening for weeks. Staff was excellent, prices for options were given up front. Took my dog to get groomed and made plans to get her cut at 2:30 they called at 10am to see if 11:30 would be better we said yes cause we had nothing to do so brought her in at 11:30 all is good we got her trimmed there once before and turned out fine they gave us a estimate of 2-3 hours for 54 bucks are dog is small only 10 pounds it took them 4 hours and 15 minutes we got there after they called us and my dog is absolutely butchered they cut her hair before there so they should know on file what to cut her at don't recommend read more

Probably won't use again after our last dog grooming service. We booked for 12:30pm and on the day of we went into the store to drop off our dog. They said we were an hour late as we were scheduled for 11:30am. I didn't have my phone with me to confirm the date but I took them for their word. When I eventually got to my phone, the appointment was 12:30pm. It's not my problem that they overbooked, they just simply lied to my face that the appointment was 11:30am. Probably will go else where from now on. Just a big business doing big business stuff? Quantity over quality service. read more

Cut the heck out of my babies neck! No excuse for this! She's been in pain for two days now. The gal was like oh and there's a little irritation from shaving her neck WHAT! This is cuts now scabs not irritation. Also they were told to NOT cut/trim her ears. They did!! She had never had her ears trimmed because they had black tips I was trying to keep as long as possible. GONE!!! Her neck healed but her beautiful black tips, not replaceable :( So upset :( read more

Today, 3/27/2023, at about 12:20ish. I don't normally right reviews but this was plain rude. I have never had an issue before, but I was in buying cat food and Guinea Pig treats. I waited at the register for 10 minutes while the figured out an issue with the lady in front of me. Once it was my turn, he asked if I had a rewards number. I said no. He asked if I wanted to start one to earn rewards. I replied "No, Not today." And he asked a second time, me again saying no thank you. He then said "Fine, this item was on sale. But now you'll have to get it for the whole stupid price." The entire time I was being checked out, he had an attitude and was rude. I have no problem with them asking if I want to start a rewards number. But after I said no the first time, I don't expect them to ask again and then cop and attitude when I say no for a second time. I don't live in the area and I'm not here hardly ever which is why I never started a rewards program. read more

The groomer cut my golden doodle on his rear end and now there is a scar, and didn't even bother to tell us, so we found out when we got home. The groomer service is over priced and not well done. Took Buster there, and the first time they did a fair job. So we took him back and the results were poor at best. The did not grind his nails, but cut them leaving chips and rough edges. His hair was a mix of missed spots, uneven cuts and ungroomed ears. The ultimate package did not leave him smelling good and cost $97.79 Before I pay that kind of money for less than marginal service; Buster, garden hose and trim his nails myself. read more

Took my dog there (16-17 years old to get groomed). Without making contact (they tried to call me, I called them back within minutes and they had already took my dog), they took my dog to a vet for a very issue that I told them when I dropped them off. They were unprofessional, refused to give me my dog back, and would not follow my wishes with regards to my dog. I understand being more safe than sorry - but the vet indicated the dog was ok and the general rudeness and unprofessionalism on the staff's part was disgusting. We took our puppy for grooming for the second time. This puppy thing is all new to us. Because he was 4 months old, the person assigned to him asked for rabies vaccine documentation. I assured her he just got that recently and we came long way and cannot go back to get the certificate but they adamantly refused to take him. I tried to call the vet for copy but they were closed on a weekend. Staff showed no empathy or any interest. They mistrusted their returning customer. Even if they still declined to take him, some empathy would have gone long ways. They were like robots. read more

Bought 10 fish at the wausau petsmart sucker, guppies, and neon, on the 15th day of having them they all died, and they only have a 14 day return policy, when I called to ask what could be done they said nothing, taking into account I had other fish in the tank from another pet store and they are all alive only the petsmart fish died. read more

Staring off into space, not saying hi when we walked in, and when it came time to check out, he was not interested. I feel like you need to drug test your employees, or else put someone like Zachary, who has the personality of 2x4, in the back, stocking something or cleaning. Terri is an awful groomer. I took my 6 month old golden retriever puppy there for the second time. For a bath and brush. Not only did it take 4 hours, but I was told that I needed to better train my dog as he supposedly didn't want to go into the kennel or cooperate while having his behind shaved. We did not request for his bottom to be shaved nor was that something she said she would be doing. Terri lectured us for an additional 25 minutes after coming to pick him up on how scared he was and how he did not want to go into the kennel. She said we needed to better train him.(This is a six month old puppy in a new environment, also this was the first time he'd met this lady.) My puppy is enrolled in obedience classes, but because he was scared, (in her words) " wrangled into two different kennels, because he was scared of the dog next to him", he was clearly not given water for 4 hours, and nipped at her when she started to shave his butthole. Again, we did not ask her to shave his bottom. My puppy was apparently the "problem." I have since taken him to another groomer and have not had any issues. We have been told that he is a very well behaved, friendly, mellow and patient dog. I will never again take him to PetSmart. read more

Took my golden today to get groomed and it was the worst experience ever! I have always taken my three dogs to a PetSmart grooming salon with no issues till now. Just moved from Florida so I decided to give this one a try and will never come back. First I walked into the solan and it was filthy! You can tell it hasn't been cleaned for a very long time. The floor was full of dog hair! I would understand if one had just been groomed but this was extreme, like they just wait till the end of the day. When I walked in I was Greeted and told someone will be with me. After standing their for a few someone came from the back and ask for my pets name. When I told her she said it wasn't to her dog and it was one of the ladies who had been standing their doing nothing. My groomer came and took my golden back and I left. When I came back to pick up my pet I went straight to the check out with my app to pay for the service. (One reason why I walks use PetSmart is the ease of paying) I then went back to pick up my golden and while I waited one of the groomers asked me to take the invoice to pay. I then replied that I paid with the app. When my groomer brought out my golden she let her off the leash and she ran to me. That part didn't bother me. I picked her up and the Frost lady rudely said I need to put her on a leash to take her to my car. I had forgotten the leash at home and planed on carrying her like I always to. She then got rude and demand I put one on. What made me mad was the fact not even 2 min prior the groomer let my dog run thru the solan. I left and noticed that my golden still had a Matt behind her ear and she smelled worst then before she went in. Needless to say I will NEVER go back to this location. read more

The groomers and other staff here are very friendly and very interested in you and your pet. DeAnne the groomer is kind and most definitely loves animals. As for the other complaints here, a little common sense goes a long way. Of course they have to have proof of your pet's vaccinations for grooming, for your own pet's protection. Why would they take your word for it, or simply the rabies tag which could be from any pet. I would think that someone would be reassured and happy that this is a requirements (btw, every groomer insists on this) as it protects the groomer AND your pet. When you book the service it states you need to bring proof, so why were they surprised? And a complaint that they offer ONLY a 14 day guarantee on fish? That's very generous and I'd sure like to see any store that does better. It appears as though these complainers have nothing better to do. This is a caring, quality store. read more
