This is our digs rear end after the haircut.

We took our yellow lab in for a bath, trim, nail clipping and gland expression. Her nails were clipped, the glands were not expressed and the worst part was her haircut. Her tail was not trimmed nor was the hair around her rear legs or rear end. The hair on her neck is very uneven and choppy. The hair cut turned out horrible. I can't imagine anyone going home and being proud of thier hard work. The other dogs in the neighborhood made fun of her. Now we have to take her somewhere else to fix the bad cut. I will say she was clean and soft.

Obviously never trimmed my dogs nails

Awful exp all around! Rude and inexperienced grooming staff. A bunch of young girls that have no idea what they're doing! Not one nail was trimmed or filed or anything else on the Pawdicure/Plus description! "Salon" was a mess. Girl tried to argue with me about my dogs vaccine expiration because apparently they don't know what month they are in. Had me sign the wrong dogs paperwork! Immediately went in with a lead at my dogs face when I already told them she's never been here or had any of this done before. Are they not trained on handling animals either?? Was overcharged original price for dog food when their shelf tag AND online showed a sales price. Was asked to donate canned food and said they're only 50¢ each but was charged almost double per can! Took my 2 year old to look at the fish and the tanks were filthy and she was pointing out dead fish in multiple tanks! Was my first and last time in this store!

MaryAnn did great training our puppy in her 6 week class. We are already signed up for intermediate class now because Ruger did so well. Definitely recommend her classes for pups who need some guidance and owners too!

I took my 3 month old maltipoo for her first grooming and I was pretty scared because she's not fully socialized yet. I called petsmart for prices and asked if it was okay that I took Olivia in at only 3 months. They assured me it would be fine and they offer puppy cuts that will gradually get her used to the process. When I picked her up, she looked adorable and was the perfect cut for her first time. Ashley was her groomer and she even wrote a little "Pawgress Report" letting us know how well Olivia did and also what she freaked out about while getting groomed (the eye cleaning). I had such a good experience with PetSmart, even if I had read some negative reviews on here. I will definitely be bringing my furbaby back.

Shannon is very kind and understanding. I completely messed up my schedule (showed up a day early) but she was able to accommodate my golden. She remembered him from training! They did a great job brushing out my dogs fur. They were also kind when telling me what an impossible jerk he was being when they tried to grind his nails. Pooch even got a free stencil!

I haven't seen or heard of anywhere selling just the poles, and I don't know if it's a good idea to mention a different store name in my answer but, if you're just looking for a replacement pole for the scratching post you may try going to Home… Read more

He is very patient and communicative. He has really made Venus come out of her shell. And I am so excited to see her more confident. I want Venus to not react and to come to me when situations arise rather than handling it herself. And with Bill's help, I am also gaining the confidence to be able to handle Venus.

He had become aggressive toward one of our other dogs, which was creating a great deal of stress and tension in our household. In addition, he was not consistently responding to basic commands, making the situation even more challenging to manage safely. Bill took the time to understand exactly what was happening and provided us with clear, practical guidance on how to address our dog's behavior. Through his training, our dog became much more responsive to commands, calmer in the home, and easier to manage around our other dogs. We saw a noticeable improvement not only in his obedience, but also in his overall behavior and temperament. After the two week board-and-train program was complete, we also continued with weekly sessions for additional training and support. Those follow-up sessions were incredibly valuable in reinforcing what our dog had learned, answering our questions, and helping us stay consistent at home. That ongoing guidance made a meaningful difference in maintaining his progress and continuing to build better behavior over time. What stood out to us just as much was how passionate and knowledgeable Bill is about training. It is clear that he genuinely cares about helping both dogs and their owners succeed, and he brings a great deal of experience and understanding to the process. He was patient, confident, and always willing to explain the reasoning behind the training, which made us feel comfortable, informed, and supported throughout the entire experience.

My bestfriend had an emergency with her dog and we brought him in, the staff is VERY money hungry and that's all they cared about, very inconsiderate and non empathetic, we asked for updates on how the dog was doing if he was alive or if he was going to die and they refused to update us and hounded for payment we told them we were working as hard as we could to get care credit, they still were insisting on payment and they said since we couldn't get approved for care credit and they refused to wait until literally the next day when we could cash our check , that they gave us the dog and put us in a room and sat there and watched him die over money. It's very disgusting and sickening the greed this place has, I have NO CLUE how any of these people sleep at night. Update: the owners response says everything! They can definitely have their own opinion but there's no "inaccuracies" in my review that's MY experience and my opinion of your business and how me and my friend were treated during a horrible time when we lost a member of our family, our animals are family to us. The woman who was in and out of the room with the brown hair and glasses was very rude and VERY inconsiderate considering the situation. So the owner commenting back when he was no where in sight is CRAZY , goes to show they all enable eachother to act this way towards people who are scared and their pet is dying. I don't sugar coat my reviews I tell the truth of what happened and how things are handled somewhere I'm not a Karen and I don't really leave reviews unless it's something crazy and other people need to be warned.

After waiting about 25 minutes and the store not being open, my wife walked and asked an employee what was going on, and the employee said the manager wasn't there to open the store and it happens "more often than you would think." My wife left, not wanting to wait god knows how long for the store to open. She then got a call telling her we missed our appointment. We didn't miss it, the store was closed. I then tried calling the store to get the corporate office number. The woman on the phone told me it was Melissa's fault. She told me me MELISSA IS THE STORE MANAGER AND SHE WASNT THERE TODAY!!!!! I repeat, she told me #1 Melissa is the store manager, #2 Melissa was in charge of opening the store this morning and #3 she wasn't there today. After I asked why she was in charge of opening the store, if she isn't there today, she admitted that she was Melissa. The woman on Phone told me she, MELISSA, was the store manager, and she, MELISSA, wasn't there today. Wouldn't be surprised if her name wasn't even actually Melissa the pathological liar she is. The initial contact was easy but subsequent communication for questions and meetings/training sessions would some times take a day or two (sometimes with a follow-up text) for a response. That being said, despite the difficulties with the communication, the work Catherine and her team does is nothing more than amazing. My little guy was with her for a total of 7 weeks for service dog board and train. When he entered her program, he was a 7 month old puppy with all the puppy attitude and energy. My Journey: I initially contacted Devil Dog Training in October to inquire about their service dog program. After a meet and greet, where Catherine fully explained her program and training philosophy/method, I decided this was the best fit for my guy and me. My original start date was going to be early November for a couple of weeks then a longer session in January; Catherine believed my guy was too young for a full SDiT program (which I agreed). However, my guy caught a cold so this was postponed to January. Since I met Catherine in mid-October, until I dropped off my guy in January, we met on multiple occasions to do training session where we learned the marker system (good, yes, and no). Using Catherine's techniques, I could already see marketed improvement in my little guy's obedience. Drop off was an OK process. I feel that it could have been better prepared for/smoother, but given everything that was going on at the time, I'm willing to give a little slack. During the 7 weeks my guy was with Devil Dog Training, I received a few progress updates, pictures, and video's (wish there was more). I did not see my guy during the 7 week stay. Upon pick-up, my guy had a solid understanding of sit, down, heel, place, leave it, and public access and was beginning to learn his task. Post pick-up, we still meet with Catherine and her team to work on his tasks and brush up on his heel. As a couple of the other reviewers mentioned, Devil Dog Training does use an e-Collar when training. This was fully disclosed when we met and posted on their IG. The use of the e-collar aligned with my approach to training so I had no issues with my guy on it nor using it. All-in-all, I say, let their work/result speak for them. I think Devil Dog Training does an amazing job in training responsible owners and well mannered doggos. Despite the difficulties in communication, I think Devil Dog Training is worth every penny. Full disclosure: I was asked to write a review for Devil Dog Training, but everything I said is my own opinion and uninfluenced by anyone.

She helped us with basic commands at that time and was amazingly patient and kind with him despite how timid he was with people. By Winter 2021 we wanted to work with Jonesy on E-Collar training to give him more freedom and flexibility while still feeling comfortable that our street rescue wouldn't get away. Jonesy did two weeks of board and train and we couldn't be happier of how well Cat refreshed his commands and got him ready for wearing an E-Collar. We now are able to hike with Jonesy off leash and have him stay in heal while off leash for extended periods of time. Cat also helped work on Jonesy meeting new people and becoming more comfortable with strangers which was always a struggle. We have reached a point we through never would have been possible with our once timid wild rescue. Thank you Cat and Devil Dog Training for your patience, kindness, communication and accessibility. We feel so fortunate to have found such a great trainer and cannot recommend them enough.
