Great selection, great service. We came for an adoption event, though it was already over and almost all the animals were adopted. Looked around a bit (Baby K liked the hamsters and fish.) Went to have our Toby groomed today,as we do week every 3 weeks with Angela. He has long hair is a mini golden doodle and shih Tzu mix. He does get matted in some places , we brush at least every day. I knew something was off the and they were very busy. I did tell Angela he had several matted area not large ones. And she said well we are just going to have to shave him down. No that's not her choice. My dog has long hair and she usually has no problem detangling him blowing him out and charging me the extra along with the tip I give her. Today she had an attitude from when we walked in. Then she said well do you just want to take him home? Well yes I do and I did! Like I would have let him be shaved down. She just did'nt want to deal with him. She knew he was on her schedule if she didn't want to do him she should have cancelled, but now we wont be back. And its hard to tell with her attitude how she would have treat him. Toby is only 8 months old and has been a regular. We have already found somewhere else. If she is unhappy with her job and taken care of peoples pet she should find another career. The fish there must be for display only. You can never get help. Employees will just walk by you not even asking if you need help. One day the lady cleaning the tanks said it wasn't her job to get fish for customers and I would have to wait for someone else. No one came so I left. As a customer it's not my job to hunt down an employee for assistance everytime I go there. The last time 3 people were waiting for assistance and no one got helped before i left. read more

The groomer is awesome! I have taken my dog to her for unrelated concerns and she kept her down there with her so she could just keep an eye on her for me, due to the fact that I am extremely overprotective and a worry wart when it comes to my fur babies. Everytime she does these extra things she will not take money for them!! Also on more than one occasion I have taken my dogs in for a nail trim and she has brought them out with a hair trim or something extra without charging me for it! I am always happy with whatever she's does for my chorkies. Recommend her services 100%. read more

I took my Band-Aid to get groomed here twice the second time the shaved his belly. He had two little matts on him and they said they would have to shave him. I walked out with my dog called another groomer and told them I had an emergency that I was told my dog was gonna be shaved. They fit him in after they was closed and it took them 5 mins to get the matts out. I'm very disappointed I cant have a dog with long hair without them trying to cut it off. Velvet Paws is the best thank you for not shaving my dog. read more

Had my shihtzu groomed at the Zanesville store many times. Took him there yesterday and was charged almost double as they had raised their prices. Can understand they may need to increase prices a little but $25 for the same services. Outrageous! And the cut was horrible. Will not be returning. read more

I have been going to this Petsmart since day one with my dog. They always have the food she eat and the treats she likes. I've been to the other pet stores in the area and they just don't have the same selection or hours. The store is always clean and the staff are excited to see my dog. The grooming salon has a lot of availability and I've been pleased with the finished product. However, the best part of this store is the training. Jensen has been working with my dog and I since Nora was a puppy. Taking these training classes has been one of the best decisions we've ever made. I've seen my puppy blossom into a confident and eager to please dog who can do just about anything. read more

Got us in for a walk-in. We are from out of town and little dog needed a nail trim plus some. They were super friendly.

The staff at Petsmart is so friendly and helpful! They seem like family! We love to take our pets there and the staff knows our dogs by name. We have done training there, grooming and attended events. The store is always clean and has what we are looking for. If I had one wish it would be that this Petsmart would get the Doggy Day Care and Pets Hotel! That would be so awesome, because we have to travel an hour to use the one at Easton which we love! Angela is a super groomer! She manages to bathe and clip our 15 year old cocker spaniel who has many, many "boo-boos" to trim around! Our dog loves her and we do, too. She is soooooo good at her job. Even our vet staff recommends her highly and say just how nice she is! Agree! Our doggie was just groomed by Angela once again last Sat. (10/21). Prices are expensive. The staff is not very helpful when you are looking confused. The store however, is clean inside and out. The bathroom's are average... Not spotless but not gross. Overall, just an average experience. Didn't have a "wow-factor". read more

Prices are a little higher (a lot in some cases) than you could find elsewhere but they have a great selection. Grooming department is in the same boat. Costs slightly more than your local groomer but they do an excellent job and have always been good to my dogs. read more

She is always happy to see my dogs and seems to remember things about my family's life.(last time you were about to go on vacay, how was it?)
