They said everything was fine and they don't know what happened! It was unprofessional and lack any empathy as if I was the problem. Never going back. My new girl is wonderful and kind and calls me before she does anything to ensure I'm okay with it. It's a shame what B&B does.

We have been taking our Wheaton Terriers here for almost a year. We always set the appointment for the full groom which initially cost $100.00 each which is pretty high, but it includes everything so we did it. Mutiple times have picked the dogs up and their nails were not trimmed, after noticing we reminded them when we dropped them off to clip their nails. Several months ago I made it an issue, i'm not ok with being shorted on services and I cannot do it myself (terrifies me, they have black claws). The girl assured me that the groomer that kept not doing the claws was no longer there. Next visit, I went to pay and there was an extra $20.00 on the bill. I asked why, and I was not notified that there was an increase in charges. She advised me that it was due to a "hike in shampoo costs". Apparently the business decided to go ahead and make a little extra off of the deal if this is even true. Today, my husband dropped the dogs off, reminded them to clip the nails. I just picked them up and much to my surprise my dogs' nails were still not trimmed. I expressed my disatisfaction and advised this happens all the time, the girl took them back to trim them but offered no apology or anything. Additionally, my younger dog was beyond distraught and she is the sweetest most loving dog...I don't know what is going on there but I do NOT recommend. There ARE other places to take dogs in the area, so keep looking. Also, my neighbor takes her dog there and I asked her about her experience without even telling her mine, and she had the SAME COMPLAINTS. Unacceptable. Go elsewhere! UPDATE: my dogs are still traumatized from whatever happened there yesterday and it is deeply upsetting. Also, soon after I posted this, I received multiple messages from someone at the buisiness, one of which stated "we can no longer provide service to your dogs" which is interesting because when asked to schedule my next appointment.......i advised them I would not be back. The person accused my puppy of biting the groomer which I was never advised about, accused me of wanting their claws clipped to the point where they bled, and also that "Yelp is a joke". Why, because they don't pick and choose only good reviews for you? If me and my dogs were such a problem, why were we offered another appointment and why am I just now hearing anything like this. I initially thought this was an issue of some bad luck with their grooming hires, however I'm now leaning toward the manager/owner is the root cause of the problem and may be just as cuckoo as a couple of the reviews elude to. She now has blocked me from Facebook, presumably to prevent me from posting a review.

Just took my cat here for an emergency situation. I called beforehand as instructed for an appt. I…read morelive in Zanesville and PetPlex is the closest "emergency" vet. My cat was experiencing trouble breathing, vomiting, lethargy, etc. initially, I was instructed to drive 1 hour and 10 minutes to Canal Winchester Medvet instead of an appt in 45 minutes at PetPlex because medvet "would be faster" and the breathing issue needed immediate attention. After a lot of back and forth with the receptionist and me explaining an appt in 45 minutes (30 min drive) would be faster than a 1 hour and 10 minutes drive, she agreed to schedule an appt. I had to pay a $180 retainer for the appt. My cat was in a carrier and I brought her into the room. The tech took some quick notes and without looking into the carrier, she said "your cat seems fine and we're vacuuming right now so we'll take her back when we're done." So apparently the vacuuming takes precedent over my cats health (that she didn't bother to even glance at). My cat has complex diagnoses for which she gets routine/bloodwork through another vet. They insisted on copying bloodwork she just had completed, which I reluctantly agreed. The estimate was $1K. After trying to do some of the tests, they removed a lot of tests pretty quickly because she was agitated. They ended up only doing one panel of bloodwork and giving one medication and 2 supplements. They attempted to sell me flea/tick/heartworm medication for a 15 year old strictly indoor cat who clearly doesn't have fleas. While I understand these are important, it doesn't feel like a priority when there are respiratory concerns. Overall, it felt dismissive and lacking compassion. I wouldn't take my pet back here.

The front staff and are Vet tech were professional and kind today also. Our Veterinarian was not professional in the least. After waiting a fairly long time he finally came in to examine our puppy. Standard 3 minute barely paying attention visit with the Vet. He for some reason decided to compliment my wife's "pretty blue eyes" and continued by telling her she "looked really cute". What exactly was that? Sexual harassment from Dr. Jed? He literally did this in front of his technician and I. This was horrifying and threatening. I am a pastor in the area so I tried to not be angry however it's not easy. Let me be clear. We did NOT come to Pet Plex for our puppy's first Vet visit and Dr. Pervert's inappropriate "flirting" and sexual harassment. He is incredibly unprofessional and quite honestly a jerk. Yesterday, I asked an employee if I could return the carrier. She looked up the purchase by my phone number. She said I could get an instore credit but not a refund since it was past 30 days. Today I take the carrier into Petco and they tell me nothing can be returned after 60 days. It's no wonder people steal. Wronged by a large corporation, it's the only way a customer can get their money back. AMAZON is the best. I will never shop Petco again!
