In about two hours, the guys from Petty's had our 26-foot motorhome gleaming. They power washed it (including the roof), hand waxed it, shined the tires, polished the wheels and buffed out all but one deep scratch. Even that one is hard to see now. The price was fair. Mr. Petty and his assistant did a beautiful job in buffing and waxing my RV trailer, as well as removing the old caulking, re-caulking and seal taping the roof. They are very professional and followed up with my RV warranty dealer to check and ensure that a section of my shower skylight that had a small leak was resolved. I checked with several detailers in the Houston/Galveston area before deciding on Petty Detailing. It made a difference to me that they regularly work on private aircraft and had an existing relationship with PPL RV. Petty's offered the best price and had the most responsive call- back and follow-up communications. They were also helpful at sharing on-going maintenance tips with me, which was great since I was a "newbie" to RV ownership. One thing you should consider when scheduling a mobile detailing service is that their projected appointment day/time will understandably be subject to weather conditions and the completion of their previously scheduled customer's work. You could encounter a delay in their projected time to get to your job, but the convenience of coming to your location is a definite advantage! read more

Petty's Detailing was hired to wash and wax our 40' Motorhome after having watched them detail many other coaches at our storage facility over the past 4 years. I have washed and waxed our Motorhome previously, and know what a difficult project it is. I can say Jimmy and his partner did a really excellent job. They removed several scratches and thoroughly cleaned and inspected the roof. Jimmy pointed out several areas of failed weatherstripping on the roof that he generously repaired. He also taught me what to look for in terms of inspecting the roof. Jimmy was punctual and easy to communicate with. While I accept that Jimmy is running a "mobile" detailing service, and would expect some communication issues, I found his responses quick and efficient. I can't speculate on the previous negative review, except to say that my observations over the last 4 years, and my personal experience lead me to believe that Petty's Detailing is a reputable and quality oriented organization. Unfortunately there is not a way to leave a 0 star review. BY FAR the most unprofessional, owner, business etc. It has been one lie after another dealing with James Petty. He will literally tell you he is going to do something, or call you back with information, and will never come through on what he originally said. DO NOT waste your time! I called them out to clean my rv because I was trying to clean it and the paint kept coming off. they said yes it needs to be done with chemicals and they would fix any paint that came off if it did come off when they tried cleaning it. Well they came out and the paint fell off and they left. they did not repaint it. plus they were high in price for a 24 foot rv 300 was a bit much. read more
