Went from DC to Pev's Paintball at 3pm and they were closed. The whole transportation took around 2 hrs, switching from the metro to buses and then to Uber. We called 3 times that day before we went and we were told that they close at 5:30. We also searched on google for their hours and they said the same. When we called Pev's Paintball when we got there, we were told that they closed at 3. We came from DC in 2 hrs for nothing! I canceled my groupon order, never going to come back. This paintball place is like Lord of the Flies run amok. There's no single adult in charge. Not that you need an adult to run the place but the kids are just indifferent and could care less if there's a problem. The teenage girl in charge of the walk-on paintballers was constantly talking to the some of the paintballers who apparently worked there and were playing on their off day (this was on a Sunday). So we had to wait about 20-30 min between each scenario. Maybe she didn't want to get out in the field, but I didn't pay all this money to be sitting in the debriefing tent. There are a good number of fields to play on, but the whole process of organizing teams by the referees and starting the game was too slow. How hard is it to split a group of people up evenly? Also some of the experienced people have guns that are way superior to the rentals so it took no time to get killed by them. I doubt I would go back to this place. read more

On March 20th I visited your Aldie VA location with a party of 26 for my 30th Birthday and were disappointed in the services offered and the appalling lack of customer service and blatant negligence of the staff. As we had a large group we opted to purchase groupons that were sold on the groupon site. As a result we understood that we will be considered as walk-ins. I called the location a few days ahead and was told the same. We proceeded to rent a "watch tower" party area to facilitate for the large group as well. I have been to more than a few paintball locations in both MD and VA and always had a regard for the services offered at Pev's locations. Most of my party were on their first paint ball outing and although they enjoyed the idea of the activity, the sheer negligence with how we were treated is bound to take their business elsewhere. To begin with, our party of 26 all of whom rented markers and equipment from your rental shop were mixed in with a group of "walk ins" who carried their own markers some of which were automatic. The other group of walk ins consisted of around 8 individuals who had rented like us and about 16 individuals who had their own markers. On your site it is stated for all to see, and I quote; "We separates our Walk-on players. If you are a beginner you play with the beginner group (anyone who is renting equipment). If you are an experienced player you will play with the experience players  (anyone who has their own equipment). We run multiple groups at a time so we never run out of space. No reservations required-Just show up and play." On the day that is not what happened. We would have been fine being mixed in with the group of 8 who had rentals just like us but to be mixed in with a group of veterans and paint ball enthusiasts who carried their high range markers and automatic weapons plus a duffel bag of non-pevs paint balls that we were not supposed to bring in is down right ridiculous. Secondly, seeing what was going to happen I approached the staff member that was conducting the safety briefing and told him my concern and he agreed. This individual together with the lady who checked us in was a breath of fresh air in an otherwise stagnant bunch of staff. He told us to proceed to one play area and was told that we would be joined by another group of 8 walk ons, which we were fine with. Ones we were up on the hill, 2 referees joined us and then they proceeded to bring in a group of about 16 individuals who had their own equipment and mixed them in with the group of beginners. I approached the referees and told them our concern. He proceeded to tell me that there were only 2 referees working that day and that they did not have enough referees to run two groups. Directly contradicting your statement on the website! Thirdly putting 50 people in one play area is unacceptable and not giving us our moneys worth. I have been to enough Pev's locations to know that this is not protocol. Furthermore it is not how a business should operate. On a day when 140+ groupons had been sold online, each of which promise 4 people that is 560 potential patrons that will walk in to your location. Having only 2 referees for that many people is apathetic and not how a business should operate. If you can't handle it don't use groupons to "promote" your business and loose even the regular customers like me. Finally, we were there for 3.5 hours and were allowed to play only in the 2 large fields as obviously all 50 people would not fit in the smaller ones and they claimed to not have referees. All other 8 fields we could not try. While we were at the paintball park there was only our ridiculous group of 50 people and no one else for the first three hours. Towards the end there was one private party of 10 people with one referee. So are you telling me there was only three people on the day? Absolutely not. After playing we returned to the trailer to hand in our rentals and absolutely no one was at the counter. So I went around to see there were about 6-8 staff members just "hanging out" doing nothing and had the gaul to tell me that check out was up front. I All in all it was the worst paint ball experience ever and I will never set foot in a Pev's paint ball park ever again. Neither will the 26 others who were with me. Mmmmm. I drove up to Pev's and was immediately intimidated. I saw people in full combat gear...camoflauge...I think I saw Predator in the parking lot. Came to Pevs with a few friends to have some innocent fun and I was scareddddd. Based on all of the stories, getting shot with a paintball hurts! But, I had to try paintball at least once. Chantelle A tip-Buy the Groupon...its cheaper and it just makes more sense! Oh and buy extra paintballs! We signed a waiver...and received the paintball gun, mask, and ammunition belt. Everything was so heavy but, I was ready for WAR! We went through a quick 15 min briefing and was quickly escorted to the first playing field. During the first game, I lasted about 5 min...was shot right between the eyes (it hit the mask, of course) but, it scared me because it was a hard impact. Best believe, what doesnt kill makes me stronger! The next 5 games...I was a true soldier. I was ducking, diving, crawling, shooting and quite muddy. I had a blast! For the second year in a row, my husband and his co-workers had a paintball outing. I don't even know if there is another place to play paintball around here, but we have gone to Pev's both times. Last year the park was up near Leesburg in the woods. There were all different fields within the woods with varying degrees of difficulty - last year's outing was so successful and so fun, everyone wanted to do it again. This year, they have apparently closed that park and opened at a different location in Aldie. Pev's is great - the kids who referee are very serious about their job. It's kindof amusing to watch these kids boss around all the adults in the groups who are playing, but they do a great job, and safety always comes first. They lay out the rules and make sure everything is clear to everyone. They let you know right away that they are in charge and you will follow the rules or you are outta there. Considering the potential for injury, it's a good attitude for them to have. They do it really well, and they are amazingly well organized. For a three hour session (we went 10am-1pm) the cost is $50 per person if you don't have any gear of your own. They provide the gun, the air canister and refills all day, 500 paintballs each and a mask. If you have a group of 20 or more, you get $5 off per person. To be honest, it's difficult for me to say if that's pricey or not. It seems high to me, but I don't know - if you supply your own gear it's only $21, I think, so maybe it's just slanted against the weekend warriors who only go once a year... The other added expense is the paintballs. While there are a certain number of paintballs included in the package, as a group we have purchased four extra cases each year, at a cost of $60 per case. You can buy cheaper paintballs online, but you aren't allowed to use them there. You are required to use Pev's brand or one other approved brand while at the park. While I fully understand the requirement if you are using Pev's rented equipment, I think that requirement is a little bogus if you have brought your own equipment. I understand there may be certain brands or non-brands they would want to ban due to safety or staining or whatever, but on the surface at least it seems like just a way to make money simply because they can. I can't play, but I always go. This year it was me and the pregnant chick on the sidelines waiting for the returning warriors. They played ten games, I believe, coming back once in the middle for an air refill and new paintballs. We chose to go this year in April because last year's June outing was a sweat-fest. It was a truly beautiful day, near perfect weather for a paintball war. They played on four different fields - rocks, a town, a fort and random buildings and other large items. They had organized games like Capture the Flag and just plain old elimination. The ref kept them organized and made sure the rules were followed. There's an extra ref for paint checks if you aren't sure you were hit or didn't know you were hit, etc. While our gang was out playing, we watched the other groups come and go. There is no limit to the ranges of folks playing. Old, young, chicks, dudes, dorks, gung ho military types, there was even a group of deaf kids. While it is certainly skewed to a teenage male demographic, that's not the only people playing by far. it was amazing how many different types of groups came through while we were there. The only real complaint from our group, other than possibly the pricing, was the lack of woods-play. They really preferred the fields at the last Pev's park in Leesburg. The fields they had in Aldie were lots of fun, but having a woods field or two (or three) would make it darn near perfect. I'm sure wherever the fields are, we will be returning next year. Pain equals pleasure. And that includes paintballing. Ignore all the horror stories you hear about the pain & bruises that comes with this activity. Just make sure every part of your body is covered including your head, hands, and neck, and the paint pellets shouldn't feel any worse then getting shot with a rubber band. There are a dozen courses (hay, forts, logs, etc) to choose from, and the refs make things interesting. They'll come up with games like "Ironman" and rules to spice things up a bit. $54 for rental (marker + 200 paintballs + face mask) $69 for a case of pellets (2 000) [TIP] : Putting a face mask on w/ glasses on will be a pain. read more

Purchased a Living Social deal for this place back in June and decided to go this past weekend with my boyfriend before the deal expired. Let me preface by saying I have never gone paintballing before and I was planning on keeping it that way after hearing horror stories of how much it hurts, but the deal was too good to pass up and I might as well start crossing things off my bucket list. The place is pretty huge. My boyfriend and I played on two different "fields" before running out of paintballs. I've never played Modern Warfare before, but I've seen enough of it to know that I was basically playing the real-life version of that game. There were towers, and walls, and stumps, and bales of hay, and all that good stuff to run around, jump across, hide in, etc. It didn't matter if you were a 40-year old expert, or a 10-year old novice. On the field, it was either shot or be shot. When people say getting shot by a paintball feels like getting snapped by a rubber band, they are grossly under exaggerating. Just know if someone hits you directly, it will hurt, you will get a bruise, and it won't feel like a rubber band just snapped you. It will feel like you just got shot by a paintball. The previous reviews are right, this place is run by a bunch of teenagers, but I don't mind seeing as how I'm not looking for the most advanced paintball arena to play in. Registering/signing in took maybe 5 minutes. Collecting equipment took another 5. Listening to the safety speech took less than 5. The one thing that did take forever was the sorting of teams. I think we were standing there waiting for the teenagers running the place to split the teams into equal numbers (they don't do it by experience) for about 45 minutes. But other than that, the teenagers served as fair refs (at least to my knowledge) and were pretty efficient at moving us to different fields and helping us with anything that we needed. All in all, this place made me enjoy paintball. They'll definitely be getting my business again. read more

I'm not exactly a priss nor a proud gun-toter but I went to Pev's for a company team building exercise and boy, was it AWESOME. We got basic gear and tons of ammo (highly recommended you buy more than you think you'll need). We had two refs and both were super informative, especially for those who were paintball noobs. The fields were great, there were wooden shelters and log bunkers to hide behind. The refs, being that they work there and have played their fair share of paintball, had some really good suggestions on different games to play on different fields. It definitely made for a more interesting experience. Some of the fields had water coolers (it was about 90 degrees when I went... tack on two layers of sweatshirts for padding...) so that was a nice touch. They also have a concession stand for drinks and there are light meals served but it wasn't open when I went. The only potential downer is price- they have a couple of different rates for ammo which look pretty steep, especially if you plan on staying awhile. If you can buy ammo elsewhere for cheaper (Amazon?), bring it along with you to save a couple bucks. read more

You have to kinda look past the cosplay adults playing military without laughing at them but in all seriousness they fo a great job and have a giant facility with tons of courses and the staff is terrific. Pev's is a mixed bag, particularly for kids. Though they loved it. Us, not so much. Took 15 boys to Pev's for a very special 13th birthday party. Paid an extravagant sum for 2 hours play, but they were excited and we hoped it would be worth it. Joe was our instructor, but he wasnt good with kids. He didn't explain rules and regs clearly and had a very sour attitude. Boys ran out of their ammo quickly because he didn't explain they should ration it and we wasted 15 minutes buying more ammo in the store, which was severely understaffed. When some boys inadvertently took their masks off before they were supposed to, Joe threatened to cut short our play time by 20 minutes, which was $150 of play time we had paid for. He reconsidered after we asked calmly. But then he stopped speaking to us. Fine. We had ordered 4 pizzas, but only 2 were delivered and although she apologized she wouldn't give us any of their pizza, so there wasn't enough to eat and we had to stuff them with chips. On the other hand, I accidentally left my drivers license (which you have to hand over to get your gear), and they sent it express mail, which was great. (This must happen a lot.) Overall, if they advertise for kids, they should accommodate kids, particularly since the cost is so high. They should have more staff, so it's less chaotic, and they should have staff who know how to work with kids. That would make the experience less stressful and more worthwhile. read more

So to start, the kids had a good time at the party. That said, logistically, PEVs is terrible. They procrastinated and denied me providing confirmed counts and then charged me a full price because of "last minute" increase in number of people. I had told them for a month, asked to pay and they continued to say no, just wait until you get here. Now I see why. The staff working is extremely rude and unwilling to accomodate guests. They double booked our indoor room so they kicked us out and put us outside and gave a partial refund. They refused to provide a full refund as well as the reduced rate for having more than 12 people. I'll go somewhere else next time on priniciple as these folks are as rude as they come. Find another paintball place. One that will work with you and not be completely unwilling to work with you. read more

For a paintball day it is good. My boys and I had fun at Pev's this last Saturday when I bought a GROUPON for 3 paid admissions, rental gear and paint balls. Tip: Bring water! You can take backpacks to the "dead-zones" out in the fields/park- and it is on your interest to do that if you're going in the warmer months. They do provide water jugs and paper cups though- but you're competing with 80 other players for that. There are a few things I saw/experienced: 1. Smack-talk and attitude of the "referees", PEV's employees, who are there as a safety as much as anything else. One of the refs we had was yelling and making comments, then got into a heated riff with someone who asked a good question about why it was taking so long between matches. Rather than explain or call, the ref made crass remarks to the guy, and went back and forth for a few rounds before another adult stepped in. Not the first time I have witnessed this- same thing happened last fall when we went here. 2. Wait time between rounds can get long. When they have the "walk up" players, like us, they put them into groups that get divided into teams. Those groups can grow very large, but the fields are all sizes and can handle larger groups. The issue was that once the game ended we waited almost 30 mins to start again. Rest is OK, hydration takes time...I get it. But we were all waiting and the refs were standing around talking to each other for 10 of those mins. Once they decided it was time to go they had to count everyone- split the teams again and get us out to the field, but it really shouldn't have taken so long. 3. Types of games. One "ref" was making up rules to a "deliver the bomb" game that apparently was different than the ones the other refs knew. How do I know? Because the refs were arguing among themselves as to how the game should be played. Rules were confusing and in the end the players just were shooting each other like you would generally assume you should. But the entire pre-game speech about the rules was a complete waste of time. My boys had fun- and we all have quarter sized bruises as well earned battle scars from the games we played, but even they wanted to do more than we did. So it was fun, but 3 out of 5 fun. read more

This was my first paintball experience and I came with 5 friends and we all shared 2 Groupons. Groupon has been (and still is as of the time of this post) running a special. The only thing is that you will need is to buy MORE PAINTBALLS. Amongst 5 of us we split a box of 2000. The setup is good. The teen refs keep you moving. They're not great if you need them to verify that you've been hit or not, and they're half-decent at spotting people getting hit but last man standing/team/15-minute tops for the fields was a good time. They kept changing us open field players around and it was a good time. They had water jugs with disposable cups at each station. I was very happy. The place is easy to get to with free parking. There are indoor restroom facilities and since it's a male-dominated sport, the women's room was pretty clean, surprisingly. The refs are good at organizing people and making sure people are safe. It's an effortless process to redeem your coupon, get your gear, fill up on CO2 if necessary and return the gear. The diversity of field play is great too. I would recommend coming close to opening time as kids pile more in for the afternoon. We were there from 11 AM - 4 PM and had a great day. I'd definitely go back the next time I'm in a paintball mood and the specials run super often on Living Social, Capital Deal and especially Groupon. Yipit usually posts about them. read more

I am writing this review concerning Pev's special Halloween paintball/haunted forest event, which if advertises as "Terrorville." Errorville: Nominated for the Paintball Hall of Infamy For the Zombie Paintball Hayride, you're provided a mere 20 rounds for your pump-action gun and advised to "conserve your ammo." During the entire ride through the Zombie Apocalypse, we saw precisely TWO poorly-costumed zombies, and they appeared side by side. I returned my gun with 18 rounds remaining. The paintball mask they provided my brother was so fogged he had no comment regarding the zombies' costumes. Everyone on the hayride complained they were disappointed. The scariest aspect of the Zombie Paintball Hayride is you would be shot in the eye with a paintball as a consequence of the lackadaisical attitude of the teenaged attendants when collecting the guns. The time to be directed to remove your protective paintball mask is AFTER the still-loaded guns are passed forward--in the dark--from child to child, for collection. Better yet, the attendants should collect the guns--individually from each shooter--BEFORE anyone removes a mask. While the Walk of Terror was better--and I'm speaking merely relatively--the scariest aspect was you may fall and be injured on the dimly-lit path or, at one point, fall into standing water of uncertain depth. The hold-harmless waiver you're obliged to sign notwithstanding, my attorney brother opined somewhere there must be an insurance underwriter who would be scared feces-less if he learned what's transpiring at Errorville. The Zombie Paintball Hayride would be okay if you only have to drive ten minutes to arrive, you pay only five dollars to enter, and you are (already) blind. Nevermore. Nevermore. read more

I like Pev's because it is the only Paintball Park I have been too, but the service is just ok. There are a lot of kids working there and they don't really seem to care much about helping you. One time I visited the park and I only got to play one game because my paintball gun was broken and it took forever for them to fix/replace it. I was pretty upset because I paid to play and didn't get to. Not sure I'd spend the money to go back maybe with a groupon. read more

Even though I am completely sore and I have two stinging spots from being hit with a paintball (one on my neck and one on my knee) and one cracked nail, I would definitely do it again. It's all in the adrenaline rush and the uncertainties of the game. Everyone played with the walk-ons and the skills and age groups vary but don't underestimate anyone - even little kids. For most people there, it wasn't their first time, which made my experience much scarier. The fields were nice and they had about 5-6 courses and about 2 speedball fields. The staff was nice and encouraging and the refs were fair - I just don't understand how they can just walk around in t-shirts on a field of flying paintballs. Their equipments were okay but the chest protecter was probably the best and the most useful. There is a concession stand for food, both meals and snacks and they also have a shop there to purchase paintballs and markers and etc. read more

Came here with a livingsocial special as a first timer with 8 other friends. Although we were initially intimidated by all the advanced players and the horror stories of pain, we got over our fear after the second game and had a BLAST! We will definitely be back, but we'd want to do this in the winter given how much you need to cover up - i.e. your entire body. The location wasn't difficult to find - keep an eye out for Pev's Paintball Park sign which was fairly small. Pev's features many different fields to play on - wooden houses, faux rock, logs, blowups, all out in an open field. Attire - green camoflauge won't do you any good. Desert camo might be more appropriate given the colors of the structure, but ultimately, whatever you wear won't be important as you're sure to be visible to the opposing team. Just be sure you're covered from head to toe and don't wear anything bright. Advice - buy extra paintballs. 200 is NOT enough. We shared 2000 plus the 200 given to us amongst 9 girls/first timers. You definitely need more if you're trigger happy, but we were able to play 6 games with our paint. The bathrooms were what one would expect to see at an outdoor facility/beach - gross and with air dry stations. read more

I liked paintballing here, being a first-timer. Though it's kind of in the middle of nowhere (compared to the availability of places in DC), I don't think it was too hard to find. It was $35 to rent a mask, a gun and ammo. The money also paid for 4 hours of games but the problem is that to play for four hours, you've gotta be either conserving ammo or pay $25 for more. The staff was a bunch of teenagers but they were chill and knew what they were doing. I didn't mind. I would've rated it a 5 if the cost of additional balls wasn't so much. Did it hurt? I was wearing a t-shirt and gym shorts and I didn't think it hurt too much, other than the paintballs that hit me in the head. read more

went on a rainy Saturday afternoon for my newphew's bday outing. we had the small private, group package for 2 hours. the pros: 1) different theme fields 2) fields relatively close to each other 3) guns very easy to use- even reloading was simply pouring in more balls 4) armour "apron" for small kids to cushion the shots 5) snack bar with bathrooms. the cons: 1) guns are quite heavy- even for my 13 yr old newphew 2) trudging from field to field carring heavy guns and amo packs on mud was NOT fun and took up way too much time out of our alloted time - they really need to think about paving some of the paths and providing wagons or muliple supply areas 3) the mask FOGGED up badly to the point i had to quit play tips: 1) wear muted, old clothes 2) waterproof boots on rainy days 3) bring a towel for clean up afterwards 4) cooler days are better as you should wear bulky clothes to protect fm the paint pain 5) bring some anti-fog sprays or upgrade your masks 6) come few minutes early to fill out waivers overall it was fun, and great way for kids (esp boys) to spend a day outdoors. read more

This was my second time coming here and it was a blast! Last time I came here was on a Sunday and there was alot of people. So if you want more people to shoot at come sunday if you want a good small amount to play with but still a good turn out come Saturday. We were able to played about 8-10 walk on games and they even had water at different spot around the field. It was about 88 when we played. 3.5 star review. It's all right. Newer than previous Leesburg location. Pretty fun fields that are built with rock, or wood. Water and cups are provided at safe zones. Parking's convenient, location was off main road. Pretty easy to find with directions given from their store employee. Air conditioned pro shop, and restrooms. They now offer food and drink such as Powerade, Water, Pizza, Popsicles, and sandwiches. I noticed Chick Fil A on the menu. Much further than previous Leesburg location. Staff seems inexperienced, but not rude, they are young working their first job. Nobody gave us a safety briefing, fortunately I knew how to play and was able to teach others. The rental mask was wet and smelled like crap. The gun jammed on their own Pevs brand paintball. The 20OZ CO2 tank barely shot 400-500 shots before the gun chamber shook and was disengaged. A lot of kids who do not know how to play and were shooting dead people as they walked off. No area to clean equipment and wipe paint off. Teams were uneven, but referees made an attempt to balance it out. As a lot of people needed CO2 refills the staff had nobody at the refill station as they were all scrambling to find somebody's ID. We had a good time, it was fun and definitely recommend it to people who haven't tried Pev's new location in Aldie, VA. Not the typical woods ball feel you get from Leesburg. I noticed a speed-ball course as well. Due to the nature of the fields, you're not under tree shade therefore it gets plenty hot, and the referees like to walk you from one end to the other for some reason and skip the fields between. Expect a lot of sweat during the summers. read more

Different game environments include: - City / street combat - Woods - Rocks Definitely go for the gun upgrade - its worth the extra money to have the all powerful gun. Book in advance. Awesome place, awesome customer service, and it's an awesome time. This is a great place to come- whether it's a full family, a group of friends, or even you by yourself is still fun to come. I come a lot with friends, one weekend all my friends were busy so I just came by myself and still met a few people and had a really good time. Something about the adrenaline, mixed with the exercise, and some sun, makes for a really fun time. The people complaining are just that- whiners. Sorry!! But it's true! This place kicks a*ss. Some people can't ever be satisfied with anything, but this place is definitely one of the top 10 coolest places to come for fun in northern VA. Maybe one employee is having a bad day one day, or maybe somebody is a little slow refilling your air tank, so what, who the hell cares? Don't give this place a 1 star, that's disrespectful. My friend was not given bbs with his airsoft rental which was stated online it was. The rules and area of play were not stated before any games and my gun was not chronoed before play which is dangerous especially with a younger crowd, some players were favored by refs and were allowed to break the rules and when I brought these issues to multiple refs attention they laughed. I've been playing airsoft for 10 years even worked for 3 as a ref myself and for this to be a good environment the refs need to make the rules, game type, and area of play better. read more

Definitely a fun place to spend a couple of hours. Recently visited Pev's for a birthday party. 9 of us in total, half of those kids and we were able to have a great time. The place is large with many different options to play on, I a fan of the city course the most but scrapyard also has it's benefits. They load you up with a gun, mask and quick safety instructions and then let you have at it. Classic last man standing game. Staff is more or less a bunch of teenagers, thus they act like teenagers, friendly enough but you'll have to play more by the honor system than them actually playing attention to who scores. They also have a little room for birthday parties to enjoy pizza or cake after your game. All in all a lot of fun and worth the visit if you're looking for something different to do. read more

I've been going here for about six years, and I would definitely call Pev's my home field. They have awesome fields to play, that are being constantly improved by one of the head managers, Hoover, and attract many people so there is almost always large groups to play with, both for rentals and high ends. The reason I leave only four stars has to do with the time between games. Most of the refs take longer than necessary between games, reducing the total amount games to possibly play. Overall, this is a great field that I always recommend to people interested. read more

Fun for kids! We've been there for two birthday parties and are about to schedule a third. They offer low impact options for younger kids so that no one will get hurt. They do a good job of herding the kids around and organizing games. We'll be back! read more

The fields are good, and for the most part the refs are good. The only downsides are that they cannot sit people who are breaking the rules anymore, like keeping your barrel cover on and keeping your mask down, and sometimes it is a long break in-between games. I took a group out from DC to Pev's, and it was a frustrating experience because of the amount of downtime. Equipment rental was fast, but there was no direction on where to go to start a game. It took about 1.5 hours to get into the first game, and overall we got in 5 games over 4.5 hours. Other than that, the rental equipment is high quality and the courses are fun. No woods fields that we were able to play on, but the constructed ones are interesting and they had enough objectives (capture the flag, attack/defend) to keep it interesting. Staff were friendly to us but took very little initiative, so we had to often ask where to go or let them know that we were there at all. Some issues with basic supplies being available (running out of tape to mark teams, no one around to give us air refills) which all fed into the longer downtime. I'm not against going back again, but I'd try other courses in the DC area first. You can definitely have fun playing paintball, just not for as long as you'd like. read more
