After a year of trying to get my Aventon Sinch repaired at E-bike shops in Mansfield and Farmers…read moreBranch with no luck or hope, only months of broken promises and aggravation, I found E-Bike Central had opened in Temple. A phone conversation with the owner renewed hope my Sinch might live again. Within minutes of bringing my bike in the door it was surrounded by all four employees diagnosing the problem each of the aforementioned e-bike shops couldn't in months of trying. Within 15 minutes the E-Bike Central team had my Sinch running like new! I won't mention how little they would accept for resurrecting my bike, other than to say I had to resort to tipping each employee $20 to keep my self-respect intact. By the way, E-Bike Central's showroom is like AN E-BIKE WONDERLAND, with dozens of cool models I never knew existed despite hours of e-bike shopping all over cyberspace. These guys are not just golden, but actually renewed my confidence that excellent business-people still exist; they're just few and far between. Suffice to say my 200 mile round-trip to E-Bike Central in Temple was well worth it. I can't thank these guys enough for saving my Sinch that two other e-bike shops FAILED MISERABLY to accomplish, despite $150 out of my pocket, and hundreds of miles in multiple round-trips to the D/FW metroplex.

Went in there to make an appointment for my bike to have fluids changed and stood there for an hour while the old fart played on the computer...the young one was running his fanny off and finally got to us, since by then the old one had walked out, never having acknowledged my existence. Piss poor! Considering the amount of money HD charges for service I should be getting a free foot massage each time I go there.

There are multiple paths you can take…read moreall starting from the rental location which made parking and picking up/dropping off the bike easy. We chose the Stonewall Loop since we were able to stop and get some ice cream at Burg's Corner market and a glass of wine at Cicada Cellar. The majority of the route was on Ranch Road 1 which was great since there are multiple rest stops with bathrooms and scenic views along the Pedernales River (long horns! herds of deer! LBJ Ranch! and more!). It is worth mentioning you are riding on the road so be cautious of oncoming cars even though there is not much traffic. Would also recommend renting an e-bike as it made the trip more leisurely especially going up inclines. We wanted to try the other paths, particularly the LBJ Loop, but were short on time, unfortunately. Overall a memorable and worthwhile experience!

I called him to remove an exhaust stud from my wife's 06 Harley and when he showed up he went to…read morework on it.... several hours later it's late and I check on him to see how it's going and was told that he had just broke a bolt extractor off in the drilled stud and he would have to come back the following day to drill that out and finish removing the rest of the stud. I was told that he would return in the morning after his previous engagements which was fine. Fast forward to the next afternoon I messaged him several times throughout the day with no return message. So I am left with a damaged cylinder head that no other mechanic will touch and my only option is now to have a mechanic REPLACE the head! I know life happens but communication goes along way and I was left clearly high and dry at a huge expense.
