Rude, condescending, and not worth your time or money. If you're a woman looking for gear, or…read morecommon respect, look elsewhere. The most dismissive, unprofessional fitting I've ever experienced. First off this store has walls of men's golf shoes and barely a dozen for women. I arrived early for a 7:00 fitting, was ignored past my appointment, and when help finally came I was told to "just buy a box set" because custom clubs were "much more expensive"--without even asking my budget. I explained I wanted a proper fitting since my swing has changed, but instead I was talked down to, shown a men's chart, handed a club in two minutes, and met with eye-rolling when I asked if this was the fitting process. At that point I politely said "I am just going to leave", the employee told me, "Yes, you should.go" I was floored...am I in the twilight zone? The manager was no better--dismissive and more concerned about closing time than addressing the issue. The entire experience was demeaning, unprofessional, and insulting. I'll buy my new gear elsewhere--it's their loss.

Just purchased my first set of clubs at a very reasonable price from here! I walked into the place…read moreand immediately saw two workers who appeared to be greeters at the door who didn't acknowledge me. No worries. I walked to the back of the store and again walked around looking and saw three other associates talking behind a desk in what I'm confident was not business critical as they were laughing, etc. I walked by them multiple times and not ask if I needed any help. I was cool without them acknowledging me as I was just exploring at the time. When I approached the desk and asked for help with selecting a new beginner set, the gentleman that took a pause out of the three came from behind the desk and was very helpful. Selected a reasonably priced set, gloves, explained several things to me, and asked if I needed help carrying all the stuff I purchased. The cashier was very nice and reminded me to use hand sanitizer, made a couple friendly jokes/banter as I was checking out. The place has other things to offer such as simulation, lessons, etc. I was not informed or offered any information about these services. Being new to the sport, I would have taken advantage of some services but didn't feel welcomed. A missed opportunity on the stores part but that's fine. I got what I came for and confident I found lessons and a simulator to help me learn golf at another place at a cheaper price. customer service with attention to details and listening pays dividends! I'm not saying to stay away but I'm not eager to return.

I went here with my 7-iron and driver, looking to see how to improve my game. Jason, the manager,…read moreput me in a bay and had me hit a few balls. From there, he was able to see my backswing and my follow through. He exposed a few things that I could improve. After he analyzed my swing with high speed cameras and the most current technology, he advised where to improve. I immediately saw a correction in my swing. I would push the ball left, consistently. From the advice he gave me, now I have a 3 to 5 yard draw and I hit higher and farther. I have never have my 7-iron 190-200 yards until now. This was definitely worth it and I would recommend anyone looking for lessons for advice to visit Jason at GolfTec.

I took some lessons from GolfTec a few years ago. Helped my swing on drives a lot…read more I decided to buy some more lessons, this time at the Castleton, Indiana site. The guys are great. My instructor is Joel. He is a very patient, polite, nice guy. He walks me through what I need to do rather than being critical of what I am doing wrong. The facility is easily accessible, clean, and comfortable. They have an instruction room with really cool technology. Also, they have three practice rooms with the techno stuff. I bought a package of practice sessions so I can go in, with a scheduled time, and practice my shots with the technology that shows my flight path of the ball, distance in flight, and distance from tee with the final rollout on the ball. In real life, out on the course, I have reduced my score by 5-8 strokes, am hitting greens on par 3s, and driving the ball further and straighter. My approach shots are more accurate and chipping is lots better. I am headed to FL for the winter where I will have many chances to use my new found skills. Bob C

Who says Topgolf isn't for little kids?! Most people assume…read moreit's not toddler-friendly, but I'd disagree! My 3-year-old LOVES Topgolf, and we've been going as a family since he was 1. A few tips if you're thinking about taking your little ones: Choose the first floor if you're nervous--there's no drop-off, which makes it feel much more toddler-friendly. The top level has a small patio with yard games if your kids need a break from golfing. I always recommend reserving a bay with a couch instead of the high-top seating. It gives my kids a comfy place to sit, relax, or even sneak in a nap if needed. As soon as we sit down, I order a side of fries. It keeps little hands busy while we wait for the rest of our food. They have junior clubs (including left-handed clubs!) available if you ask. They're still a bit too big for my toddler, so we usually bring his own clubs. It's become such a fun way to practice waiting our turn, following directions, good sportsmanship, and even counting how many balls are left before it's the next person's turn. If you can, go on a weekday during half-price hours to make it a much more budget-friendly family outing! Have you taken your kids to Topgolf yet?

Top Golf is fun. That's the bottom line. If you want to get a small to medium size crew of people…read moreand simply have a good time, you should add Top Golf to your menu of activities. The greatest thing about Top Golf, in my humble opinion, is that it is so accessible for people who don't golf. I visited before I took up the game of golf, and I've been back several times since I became a scratch (nope, scratch that!) double-par golfer (LOL) and I've had fun every time I've been. And even though I've improved my golf swing, a friend or family member (my sister, Stacy, I'm talking to you!) would crush me at times on the score board with absolutely zero golf experience. Of course, this depends on the game you choose. There are several games with various rules that can either widen or narrow the experience gap. My favorite is the original Top Golf game where you aim for the colored circles. Other games, like Block Party (or maybe "bloc" party) give points for hitting it literally anywhere. I had my best shot of the day to the back net, and scored a fraction of the points an opponent scored for hitting it short and letting it roll. Oh well, what can you do?! The food is pretty good here. And they offer a full bar because what's golf without a strong drink to calm your nerves! I've had the flat bread pizza. Actually, after we finished our round, we went to the restaurant/bar and watched IU smack Oregon so hard it looked like DeChambeau on a Par 5 (mashed potatoes!). Oregon wished they had a mulligan, for sure! I digress. At the bar, I ordered the donut holes and the hot honey pepperoni flatbread pizza. That hot honey was great! The donut holes are good and come with two syringes filled with chocolate or Bavarian cream. There is also a raspberry option, and you can get all three for an extra charge. They give you a lot of little donut balls! Service is pretty good at Top Golf. You can tell they are busy, but the servers do a great job to make it to all the bays. And even when the bar was hopping during the game, our guy kept checking in regularly. The atmosphere is comfortable and chill. They know you are there to relax and unwind and maybe take out a little stress relief on their tiny, dimpled balls. The staff gets you checked in early, answers any questions you may have and will even teach you how to use the ceiling heaters (ours did!). Yes, they have heaters! Each bay has three large heaters in the ceiling you can control independently, so even in the winter, you can swing away. Just no Happy Gilmore approaches! Have fun out there!
