They never said anything about how long I practice. But I don't do it too often and not too long. They're always helpful and ask if I need any help. The Instructor for golf lessons is Mark Voeller. He's great! He takes as much time as you need. He shows you on the screen how your form is and what you need to do to correct it. He really gives you as much time as you need usually going over the half hour allotment if you need more time and if no one is waiting. And Mark has alot of fun and interesting stories from over a lifetime of golf. Also, I bought alot of golf lessons 2 years ago and let different people use them. They're really good about that. I haven't taken a lesson in 2 years and recently I called Mark and he said I had 25 left. I'm glad he kept count for me and that was a little more than I thought.

If you want to save money with a cheaper fitting experience, go to Golf Galaxy or Dicks, this is not the cheapo version of which club do I hit further. The fitting here is that of a tour pro with tons of shaft and head options all under one roof. Eric and the staff there are great and would recommend this to anyone that wants to take their game to the next level. Probably not for a beginner, but definitely for someone who takes their golf game seriously.

I stopped because I saw it on my way back from Cedarburg Monday night. As far as sporting goods stores go, there is a decent amount of inventory. The lighting isn't as bright as Sports Authority, so the place looks dingy as a result. The prices seem in line with other sporting goods stores, but the customer service is what elevated this from a 3 star review to a 4 star review. I was greeted when I entered and asked if I needed help finding anything. He walked me toward the right area and another team member took me the rest of the way. The weight lifting belt that I bought rang up $10 more than the price on the peg where it hung, which is common in retail since things get moved to the wrong place by customers all the time, but the same product from that same peg had the same price as the price on the peg. So the team member have me a 15% discount to get closer to the listed price, which I was cool with. I also bought a new Brewers t-shirt for about $5 less than I find at most other retailers. I will consider Burghardt's for future purchases if I can't find what I want closer to my house.

They have always gone out of their way to provide good service, be helpful and offer solid advice when asked. As for the guy that wanted to be fit into irons and was told to take lessons, the fitter actually did him a huge favor! You can't really fit someone into irons until they have mastered the fundamentals of the swing. Can't help but think if the guy took the fitter's advice and took some lessons, he would be a lot better golfer?
