Once we checked in, the guy told us we would be teeing off in "a little bit". Our tee time was for 1:16, and we checked in at about 1:05 ish. We then went to our car and grabbed our bags, and we pull up to the tee box before our tee time, at 1:14. We get there and the ranger is screaming at us saying that we are way late and that the whole course is now backed up, while swearing the whole time. He kept yelling at us as we tried to hustle, and he even made us skip the first hole while we still payed for the full 9 holes. Keep in mind that we were at the tee box ready to go, BEFORE OUR TEE TIME. Once we passed the first hole, there were already at least 2-3 groups waiting at the tee box for hole 3, and two other groups already on hole 2, so the hole course was backed up already. Then, about halfway through the round, I got yelled at and heckled by the group behind us for "playing too slow" when there were literally groups in front of us. If anything we were almost hitting into the group in front of us, but I guess that doesn't matter to whoever was behind us. My experience was terrible and I will never be coming back again.

They never said anything about how long I practice. But I don't do it too often and not too long. They're always helpful and ask if I need any help. The Instructor for golf lessons is Mark Voeller. He's great! He takes as much time as you need. He shows you on the screen how your form is and what you need to do to correct it. He really gives you as much time as you need usually going over the half hour allotment if you need more time and if no one is waiting. And Mark has alot of fun and interesting stories from over a lifetime of golf. Also, I bought alot of golf lessons 2 years ago and let different people use them. They're really good about that. I haven't taken a lesson in 2 years and recently I called Mark and he said I had 25 left. I'm glad he kept count for me and that was a little more than I thought.

Unfortunately, the service and follow-up were disappointing. We were not initially offered a wine list, and when we asked about ordering wine for the table, our server assumed we wanted individual glasses. The menu also referenced a soup of the day and dessert of the day, but we had to specifically ask what they were rather than having them explained to us. The biggest issue occurred when we ordered four desserts for the table but were charged for seven. I replied to one of the restaurant's follow-up emails explaining our experience and requesting contact from a manager. I received a quick response saying my message had been passed along, but more than a week went by without hearing from anyone. I then called the restaurant directly, provided my information again, and was told a manager would contact me and address the overcharge. Another week has now passed, and I still have not been contacted or refunded. I really dislike leaving negative reviews, and I gave the restaurant multiple opportunities to resolve the issue privately. While we will likely continue visiting other Bartolotta restaurants, we probably will not return to The Commodore. It is unfortunate because the food was good and the setting was truly 10/10, but the lack of follow-through has overshadowed the experience.
