Good selection of "Florida" fireworks. This is not like a South Carolina store full of mortars, more sparkling fountains and firecrackers.

I would recommend getting there a little early to find a spot, pack snacks and drinks! Real drinks too! Then sit back and enjoy the boats cruising by! Crystal invited us to watch this year from a huge boat, a naval museum! That was awesome cause it's front row watching and not crowded! 2 thumbs up! Great free event!

Cities and states across the country are organizing massive America 250 campaigns to mark 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Because of this historic milestone, the City of Jacksonville expanded its usual Fourth of July footprint into a two-day downtown festival featuring the largest fireworks show in the city's history. Our thoughts... The fireworks display did not speak to 250 years of celebration to us. Savannah's River Street off Bay Street is by far way better. Honestly. We were like... where's the rest. We really don't enjoy saying that. However it's true. Over n Out FranknKimm Downtown Jacksonville Florida July 4th 2026 Saturday FranknKimm

Since my last review was over a decade ago, probably time for an update. I don't come to Ginnie as…read moreoften as other area springs but it's worth a visit now and then--on weekday mornings ideally if you want to freedive, swim, and miss the crowds of the weekend. It's a good camping destination, too. For me, the main draw however is freediving and there's plenty here to see. You cannot and should not by any means enter caves as a freediver--it's forbidden and even for highly-experienced freedivers, dangerous. If we freedivers don't want to wear out our proverbial welcome, yes, we need to behave. Cave-certified SCUBA divers are the only ones to enter caves. I want to address some things which came up between my own observations and what I've read in other reviews here. For one, the food. This isn't a good place to get good food. If you want something nice, get it "in town" in High Springs or bring something to cook if camping. For that matter, bring your snacks and gear because expectedly things are a bit overpriced at the merch store here. If you don't what the place to be loud, busy, and long lines then don't come on weekends and holidays. It's that simple. This is a business and they'll let in as many people as they safely can let in. As far as loud music and uneven enforcement of rules, I think this just comes down to different employees acting their own way. Most summer help is students, they're not going to have the discernment and acumen of a veteran police officer in dealing with people. Most are nice, some are lax, some overzealous. About the bath houses and other facilities. I think things are in pretty good shape--on par with bath houses at campgrounds in the Ocala National Forest, in example. Nothing was horribly dirty any time I was there but folks--this is camping. Remember that. I don't see the need for tram or shuttle, either. Maybe for disabled or infirm folks but most of us can simply walk between springs and should. Overall I feel Ginnie is well-run for what it is, with your normal business caveats like they'll charge what they can get away with in their store which is exactly why you want to buy stuff at Walmart or whatever prior to coming here. It's a great place to camp and unique, beautiful, springs you'll remember your entire lifetime.

You get this mix of ghetto hick thugs speeding through the park flashing whatever bs they think is cool. They are trying to crack down but the park is big and there's always someone has to ruin it for visitors. Great spot on week days. One of the few places you can drink and float down the river and hit some springs. I've had many great times

It is literally advertised to sign up with your email at the cash register to become a member! But, the business doesn't want you to take advantage of this membership and I didn't know this. I tried using a $5 off any purchase discount that was visibly in my account on the app and I was told I used the same discount twice and was blamed for it when it isn't my system and I don't know about computers. How can I redeem a coupon twice, that's not the customers responsibility it's the cashiers all I did was press redeem coupon in the app. It wasn't the same coupon because the last coupon disappeared and a new one showed up. I was blamed for a faulty system and was told I was abusing a loop hole and taking advantage of the business. I can't even make this up! I told the owner that your son called me a scammer and instead of reprimanding him he said," what can I do for you, do you want $10". My response was I don't want a dollar from you I don't want to be called a scammer. I am shocked that these people are this delusional and out right disrespectful in public with an audience of customers the day before 4th of July. To mention also that this was the owner and son that told me all this haha! Please do not shop there they are very confrontational and aggressive people. They don't treat police officers right there and I am one of them. I showed my shield and ID to get a discount which they gave me a 10% discount but that doesn't change any of this or the way we were treated my family and I. If you are a first responder please for the love of God do not give these people your money. Go to Superior Fireworks. They are hands down the best and give a 15% discount and are excellent people and you can also order online. We never had a bad experience with Superior Fireworks because they are professionals.
