I registered on Angi to find a company for tree service. The company responded with sending out a…read morerepresentative to me. The person that came out had filthy clothes on, most of his teeth missing, would not get out of his shabby looking truck, and acted very disrespectfully. He did not give me his name or business card. I explained to him what I needed. He spoke to me in a very condescending manner, and told me a price, which I did not respond to at all as they claim I did. He kept repeating himself about what needed to be done, and I told him okay I will let you know. He then responded by calling me "Madam". I then told him not to call me "Madam". He then used "Ma'am" without ever asking what my first name was. While he was talking about the trees I was needing to get trimmed, he started raising his voice and telling me loudly, "Well , this is going to cost you a lot of money. " I then told him, Look, you are very disrespectful . You need to leave the property immediately, and do not return. I never at any time told him any price I wanted them to pay. I felt an obligation to report this to warn any future victims of this company, that violates the code of conduct posted by Angi, to avoid them , and beware of doing business with them. A second crew showed up one or two days later. They too were sent off the job because of bad workmanship. A third crew arrived and decimated an old oak that was a major, dramatic feature of our house. They were told by me and the first manager that came to look at the job that the was not to be touched. Our very expensive tree lighting was also disturbed and broken. They fixed one fixture but when dealing with the others they broke they refused to replace them or reimburse me for having them fixed. They charged a great deal of money and were completely paid.
