I like Duffey Tree Care a lot and have used them twice. Once for removing 2 trees and trimming 3, and most recently for trimming 5 large oaks. These guys are certified arborists and their priorities seem to be: 1) keeping your trees healthy, 2) allowing wind to move through the trees to make them safer in hurricanes, and 3) keeping the shape visually pleasing. What they do is a science and they are not going to over-trim your trees or damage them. They have great equipment, are fully insured and are nice to work with. They arrive when they say they will and clean up after themselves. Are they expensive? I don't know as I didn't get any other estimates. However, I had no tree damage from Hurricane Milton - my neighbor spent $10k on cutting and removing downed trees from his roof, fences and yard. read more

Guy came out to quote my neighbor, whose husband is hospice to clear a tree for access to get the husband in and oit of the house, and of course clean it up. This is after the hurricane. He proceeded to quote additional trees and such and provided a shocking quote. When we had the audacity to be shocked and questioned why so much, he got crappy stating he has been on the business for 56 years and pretty much we were the idoits in The conversation. While trying to figure out why so much, stressed with all that is going on, he stated he didn't want to do it now because he was questioned. We have since had it quoted for thousands less, yes thousands, and will move along. I hope this guy just quotes and isn't a owner. He definitely is not professional and portrays Duffey as a rip off organization. I probably would avoid this company for sure read more

What an amazing team! They worked together like a well oiled machine. I had a very tall tree between my house and my neighbors. They absolutely knew how and where to tie the ropes to bring the large branches and trunk down without coming near either house. They also trimmed up a large tree that was hanging over into my yard and was almost touching my house. They did this with the same incredible skills. They were always on time, courteous and very professional. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of tree removal or trimming. I think their price was reasonable, especially considering the amount of work and skill required to get the job done! read more

We are completely satisfied with the service provided by Duffy. Our grandfather live oak was rather large ( 24 foot circumference ) and it was taken down in one long day, day two used for cleanup of yard and roof. Personnel were professional and courteous. They showed up on time and completed the job in less than 4 hours. They were very professional from showing up on time to removal. After having a few negative experiences with contractors, I was very skeptical about them. However, they handled everything the right way from the way they interacted with us and performed the work. This is my second experience with Duffey. Both times an arborist came out and looked at the job then provided an estimate. The first time I needed oaks cut back the second time an oak had fallen in a storm. The arrived as promised, removed the debris, and cleaned up. THay did a great job. read more
