I have been a customer at phatmanz alley for over a year now, I have spent numerous amounts of dollars. I would go there to get gifts for my friends, so I would constantly be popping in to look at the newest accessory and to be honest it was always a little exciting to go into the place! Today I had a terrible experience. I will say before I go into my experience that everyone here is extremely nice and the employees are always in the know on the latest smoking trends. Last week I spent about $140.00 on some accessories and one of those accessories just so happen to be a $40 butane torch. I was told "it's the best torch" and that "they use this torch all the time in the store", (they were referring to the torch they were just about to sale me, you know the one that is on the shelf that they open and fill and use to show customers.....) So I thought well I guess it's a used torch at this point but hey I trust them I'm sure it will last forever. 5 days goes by and now I'm back in the store, and I'm excited because when I walk in the lady in the store, is the lady that was there when I purchased the torch. Perfect! So I let her know the torch no longer holds butane, she verified that it was constantly leaking butane. (Hence defect) She then calls the store manager who proceeds to tell me that "hers did the same thing and that she will give me 20% off a new one"........ Sooooo the USED torch they sold me, broke (which I was told was rock solid, they use them all the time and never had one go bad) The manager ownes one that is broken as well...... And in order to get a new torch your only goin to offer me 20% off? Before the store manager was called I even offered to pay the difference if there was another one, or even take a lesser torch and just eat the cost. Now 40$ may or may not be a lot of money..... That's not the point. The point is that at that moment in the store I realized what had just happened..... I was getting bent over with no lube...... So I politely put back the items that I was going to buy (30$ plus I was going to buy a couple more little items) and now I will no longer be a patron of phatmanz alley. Which is disheartening. You lost me, but maybe you can change the way you handle this next time, with the next customer. -Preston read more

It looks like they're stocking up on the homebrew supplies, which makes me very happy. I wasn't happy about the store opening up 3 minutes late, but I guess that's the culture. You just gotta' be tolerant in that way. Other than that the staff was really friendly and helpful. I've designated this my "go-to place" for "need ASAP" homebrew supplies. For other stuff I think I can get better deals online. Some of the gear seemed a bit pricey. read more

The staff is very friendly and helpful. They do however charge way too much for their products and their products always break too soon. The torch lighters they sell are too big and way over priced. Also THEY DON'T FUNCTION! You can get a cheaper better one at any liquor store. I can easily say I've spent at least $500 on broken atomizer replacements. I'm done with this store. Things are way cheaper online and elsewhere. Never again! Tired! One more broken atomizer. Coils just stop working for no reason all the time. Those aforementioned torch lighters that don't function? $45! Seriously. I got a much smaller and easier to use one at the liquor store on sunnyside and shaw. $8! This place is a rip off taking advantage of stupid adolescents and dumb trusting idiots like me. read more

Poor quality vape accessories and their 'homemade liquid' is not very good. Would not recommend.
