Since I only could access the in-law unit bedroom wall side, I requested mineral wool, two layers of quietrock with green glue in between. Many contractors did not want to do the two layers of quietrock and didn't think the green glue was necessary. Do It Now Drywall immediately recommended all these as the best option for my wall. They were professional, prompt, courteous, experienced, and completed the whole job from prep to cleanup and even help me painted the wall with reasonable pricing. They made sure to insulate the electric outlets and used acoustic caulking to seal all gaps. We chose a plaid wallpaper pattern, and because our walls are slightly uneven, some of the lines didn't perfectly align at first. Jeff also provided suggestions on wall textures to match some of the existing work to provide continuity.
