I was told the doctor would be back that Friday the 26. They would get back to me for an appointment. A few days later Carlos calls to tell me they could not assist me or fit me in. He then proceeds to tell me to call other doctors office to make an appointment. I then asked him if he could call the doctors office and ask them if they can give me an appointment, instead of me calling them and have to explain everything all over again. I have 30 plus years in customer service, now no one goes that extra mile or above and beyond no longer has exists. I couldn't believe that they couldn't fit me in for such an important surgery for me. The staff needs training in managing difficult times, and how to treat patients. With my experience in working in doctor's offices, I have gone that extra mile to assist a patient. I feel he could have called them and assisted in getting me my appointment. NO ONE WANTS TO DO THERE JOB ANYMORE, THEY PASS IT ON TO THE PATIENTS. ITS THERE JOB TO ASSIST YOU!!

He's open minded. I've been with him 10 years. His staff has a very high turnover and needs training. Staff makes mistakes with appointments and they randomly close the phone lines when they take breaks. Hours are unpredictable - cant be reached when not in unless emergency pager. However, when doctor is in, you can always speak to doc personally even when they are with patients. As a patient, you often have LONG waiting times to be seen by the doctor, they are way behind on timing of appopintments.

We went here on an urgent basis because my baby sister came to visit and had strep throat. Dr Dorf was kind and caring, took one look at my sisters oozing tonsils and diagnosed her properly. She was better the next day. The staff is friendly, the office is clean. Only drawback is they do NOT accept credit card, so bring cash or a check!
