I have been visiting Dr. Pinto since Fall 2005, and as long as I have a spine in my back... I won't be stopping. I've been seeing Dr. Pinto since I was 15 years old as a competitive club swimmer. He is just amazing! His adjustments alone have helped balance my body tremendously. I hold a lot of my stress in my mid-upper back between my shoulders & in my younger years it was affecting my stroke & the length of my pull in the water, as well my hips! I have slight scoliosis, thank you mom! She had taken me to her chiropractor at the age seven, she has severe scoliosis! That was back in 1968 so, "I DO NOT" have to be sold on the benefits of "GOOD CHIROPRACTIC CARE!" and frankly, I do not know how anyone else can live without it! If you are anywhere in the areas of Acton or Newhall, PLEASE do yourself a tremendous favor and see Dr. Pinto. I really can't even put into words how much of my life he has given back to me. As a full time graduate student, too much sitting, straining and stress (along with some genetics) had done horrible things to my neck and back. I had always gone to chiropractors for most of my life, all of whom adjusted either completely ineffectively (or incorrectly) that I was never really able to get rid of the various pains I had. I was so desperate that I made an appointment with a spinal doctor, and just out of pure luck a friend of ours heard I was having issues and said I had to try Dr. P. All I can say is that I walked into the office in horrible, horrible pain and stiffness (mainly lower back and hip) and I walked out about 75% better after the first visit (which included a very thorough exam and assessment). Dr. P and his staff gave me incredible attention and showed so much care for these issues, and within weeks I felt like a new person. I have been seeing him religiously every week since. Also, with work like his, once you get your spine and nerves in line, everything else is also more enjoyable and effective (like massages, for example, which I've had since I have lots of troubles with knots and tension). The key is to be totally open with him and don't be afraid to list every thing you are feeling. I swear, even my elbows and sinuses have been adjusted. In addition to my back/neck issues, Dr. P has helped with my sinuses (he actually adjusts the cranial bones in a way that provided me with a lot of relief and helped open up my sinuses again). But in addition to this, he has given me an incredible gift that so many other doctors couldn't- to fix my horrible IBS and chronic stomach issues. He has an extensive knowledge and supply of supplements (for my stomach, they are enzymes, aloe, and other goodies) to treat so many things. He's just really the complete package when it comes to taking control of so many aspects of your health- things that many doctors have failed to help with before.
