Dr. O'Malley and Dr Till are really great. The billing practices of this company are nothing short of shady. Take your business elsewhere.

My daughter is a student at ETSU SO, I had to find her a destiny office there. When I made the…read moreappointment I was told that they accepted my insurance. After my daughter had her appointment she was told that she needed to pay $150 as payment. My daughter called me and notified me of the money net she had to pay and I was livid to say the least. I called and was told that they accepted my insurance but not the federal plan that I have on my daughter. I was never told this when I called to schedule my daughter's appointment! Seems to me that this dentist office is scamming people because, there are a lot of reviews stating the same thing. I would think twice before going to this business!!!!!!!

They said because insurance didn't cover it all. So we pay. (This is early Aug) A week or so later we see our insurance guy an I mention the insurance we picked is pretty crappy didn't even cover cleaning. He said call insurance company they definitely cover three cleaning a year. We call. They paid in full. We can Martin dentistry middleish of August tell them our insurance paid then in full. They check and say oh yes they did....(Get this) Remember Middle of Aug..... Oh we will send you a check out end of Aug. What you collected right away and we now gotta wait another two plus weeks.... Well September 5th comes no check. I call again, sorry they will get that out Monday September 8. Yeah THIS PLACE IS A SCAM not a good BUSINESS. That's just not right. We liked them and my husband had been going for over seven years. But that's very shady what they just did. DID NOT APPRECIATE THAT .... They had our money over a month, why I'm guessing to get interest..... And would I have ever gotten my money back if I didn't call it insurance company and fiND out they were paid in full?? And what's with not sending it end of August as told and holding it another week plus..... Seriously loSt our business

We scheduled a visit to establish care for my 17-year-old daughter after transferring her records…read morefrom her previous dentist. We expected a typical new-patient process -- review of history, exam, possible X-rays, and a discussion of any recommended treatment. That is not what happened. After briefly asking if we had concerns, the dentist began filing/drilling on one of her teeth without clearly explaining that he was starting treatment. There was no thorough exam or discussion beforehand. My daughter became very upset because she did not understand what was happening. Instead of calmly clarifying, the interaction became defensive and uncomfortable. We reiterated that we were there to establish care, not begin treatment without explanation, but were told that if we didn't want treatment, we should find another dentist. During the visit, the dental assistants were standing beside the chair passing a phone back and personal information, which felt unprofessional during a patient appointment. We were also concerned about safety and environment. The treatment room had an uncovered fluorescent light fixture directly above the patient chair. The waiting room displayed numerous taxidermied animals, which made the setting feel uncomfortable for a healthcare office. Overall, we left feeling unheard, unwelcome, and dismissed. We will be seeking care elsewhere.
