My dad also lived in Houston and we'd often do shopping or eating at the mall. My daughter (who is now 30) loved (& still does) skating at the ice rink during the holidays. It's a magically fun experience. The Galleria is always incredibly decorated for the holidays. I still get to Houston 1-2 times a year and always enjoy visiting The Galleria. The Galleria itself has not only the ice rink but office space, two hotels, lots of places to eat, and shopping. The retail offerings range from shops like H&M, Macy's, and Nordstrom to high-end luxury shops like Gucci & Chanel. We were there just a few months ago and it was just as fun and exciting as my first visit! Gang, there are so many stores here. Like crazy amounts (a few hundred). It's very large and easy to navigate and of course gets extremely busy during peak times. A must-visit for locals and tourists alike.

The moment you step inside, you experience bright lights, multiple levels of stores, and a steady stream of shoppers that create an energetic, bustling atmosphere. Beyond shopping, the mall offers entertainment options such as its iconic indoor ice-skating rink, making it easy to spend an entire day there. One of the Galleria's biggest strengths is its variety. Luxury retailers like Chanel and Louis Vuitton share space with more accessible brands such as Banana Republic and American Eagle, offering something for nearly every budget and style. Whether you're on a focused shopping mission or simply window-shopping, there's plenty to explore...even if, in our case, we left empty-handed. The dining options are equally diverse, ranging from food-court favorites to sit-down restaurants like The Cheesecake Factory and Shake Shack to Chic-fil-a. While we didn't find the bargains we were hoping for, our fast-and-furious shopping adventure was filled with laughter and great conversation, and the kind of fun that comes from spending time with good friends. Let me save you to the trouble: 1) Enter from Alabama St by turning right into the garage after crossing the Galleria overpass. 2) Upon entering, follow the path and pass the first bank of escalators (to the right) and look for the entrance to the lower level (on the left), which will be the first option to turn. 3) Take the first left and follow the guided path to the lower level (LL2) and one should see the chargers in a relatively empty lot. There are less cars during the daytime, but beware of the rain puddles that tend to collect in handicap spots. If there is a long charge ahead, plug in the vehicle and use the restrooms / walk around by heading into green bank of escalators directly in front of the chargers. Once you're done finished with the charging, follow the exit signs, which will lead to a narrow alleyway. Turn into the alleyway (slowly) and look for any oncoming cars / cars turning from the overhead parking lot. You'll find yourself back on Alabama St and fully charged. You're welcome?

Then, he was personally involved in installing the panels and all of the associated wiring, and in explaining how the system worked. In follow-up, he has always been readily available to tweak things, like when we changed our wifi network and needed to reconnect to the MyEnlighten system to monitor the amount of electricity being produced. I expect that we will expand our system in the future and add additional features, like a battery pack. Guy & KNS are highly recommended if you are looking to put in solar. The experience was five stars all the way, and I would give more stars if the rating system allowed it!
