The place was very pretty and looked perfect for a weekend brunch. Check on parking prior, one garage is free on the weekend even though it says pay to park. Unfortunately our drinks came after our meals were served. My smoked salmon Benedict was pretty good. Pineapple mimosa was decent. The cinnamon roll was almost too bready, very heavy tasting. I think it would have been better in the oven for a few more minutes. My cappuccino was really really bad but I wasn't charged for it so I can't complain. The service was ok, but they took their time, and it wasn't really organized. The drinks thing really threw me off. This has been on my list for awhile - been trying to get everyone together so we could order the giant brunch board. That's still pending...so several of us stopped by today for brunch. And it did not disappoint. The Bloody Mary's were perfect, snd we started with the watermelon salad and avocado citrus mix appetizers - very refreshing. Next time we will sit inside because the Texas heat was brutal sitting on the patio. The service was good the server went over the menu and gave us great recommendations. The shrimp and grits were yummy and plenty of shrimp and grits cooked well. We came back for a third time to give this place another try, and it did not disappoint. I was able to make a reservation easily over the phone, and the attendant was very friendly. We brought our friends here to celebrate their anniversary, and our waitress was attentive, kind, and made the experience even better. The food was great as always, and everything from our drinks to our order came out correctly. This place has been on my list, and when a friend wanted to try it, I was ready to jump on the chance. We came for brunch on a Sunday. We had a resy but place wasn't too crazy, we didn't really need it and were seated without it.. Parking- the large covered garage is a short distance away. Or you can see if you can get lucky and find the few street parking spots in front of some of the businesses. Service- was sweet with Madison. She gave service with a smile despite being busy. She gave us insight about the menu. We enjoyed sitting outside on the covered patio with a cool breeze. I belive a manager was circling outside to assist and check on guests which was good to see. She stopped by our table but didn't introduce herself. Food- I ordered the BLT with avocado and for my side I subbed for a cesar gem salad with anchovy for a $2 upcharge. It was satisfying for price $20. We plan to return to get there brunch board (there take on charcuteri board), which feeds 4 to 6 people for $85 bucks which really is a steal, plus it looks really tasty. Absolutely delicious! We tried the weekday 2course lunch deal and added a mimosa -- such a great value for the quality and portion sizes. The arancini were perfectly crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside, topped with a rich sauce that made each bite indulgent without being too heavy. Charcuterie board came with 4 tiny pieces of toast for a whole board. Extra 4 pieces of toast was $3, laughable. Friends ordered the skirt steaks medium rare, it came out chewy. My girlfriend ordered the brisket dip sandwich with mushrooms ON THE SIDE. So why did the server charge us 75 cents for putting mushrooms on the side? Deviled eggs (3/5) - the filling was tasty but the egg white was hard and slightly rubbery (overcooked) Citrus avocado (3/5) - it was ok, the burrata was fresh and the combination of ingredients was different (the avocado was not fully ripe) Garden omelette (4/5) - the omelette was delicious, well made and not overstuffed; the side of potatoes were a bit tough and just didn't fit in with the look of the omelette Biscuits and gravy (2.9/ 5) - the biscuits were very dense and somewhat tough to enjoy; they looked like they'd be flaky but were not; came with those same potatoes I am not against trying them again, I think it just wasn't our day. We chose this place partly because of the name but also because it offered an outdoor patio, was located where we would have plenty of parking, and they had brunch. The patio seating was wonderful! Food was great, service was just as good and the ambiance was perfect for conversation. They gave us complimentary mimosas while we waited, so it was water under the bridge. This place is clean & spacious. The great part was we ordered one thing for the entire party to nibble on "Ultimate Brunch Board " feeds 4-6 ppl. We also tried the smoked Gouda Mac. The food was good, I wasn't really a fan of the cinnamon roll loaf. I love cinnamon. So if it doesn't karate chop me on the tongue, it's not enough. Decided to meet an old coworker friend in City Centre to catch up. We ate outside, prime real estate for people watching as you dine. Armon was our waiter and frankly he wasn't on it. I don't know if he had a little chip on his shoulder that day or if it's normal behavior. Barring that, we were also disappointed in the food. I hate when I look at a menu and nothing sticks out. I ended up ordering the steak salad, it's not winning any awards but it was filling. My companion ordered a shrimp noodle dish and she felt her shrimp were well overcooked and rubbery. The citrus creme brûlée caught both of our eyes so we shared it. Could have been the highlight of the meal as it had a really good taste. Only issue was the caramelized top was soft and didn't have the signature hardened texture we all love. I'm not likely to return primarily because I no longer live in Houston and I'm not expending prime real estate in my tummy for somewhere I've been before and had an ok experience when I'm only there a few days. read more

They have lunch specials (appetizer and entree) at $25, although quite a few of the entree on the lunch special menu had up charge. I ordered the Elote Cornbread starter, and a Steak & Blue Cheese Salad. The Elote Cornbread was interesting... soft finger shaped cornbread cakes topped with crumbles cotija. It had a nice texture, and the expected lime tanginess, but totally lacked any of the chili spice of a typical Elote. The Steak & Blue Cheese Salad (which has a hefty +$6 upcharge on the special lunch menu) was unremarkable. The started skirt steak was just chopped up bits of skirt steak -- for the price, I was expecting nice juicy slices of skirt steak. My brother had the Harvest Chicken with Pulled Chicken which he said was just ok as well. My Mom ordered the Steak & Egg Bowl which she requested with light salt, and it came out too salty. However, the server did graciously have it remade with no salt and garlic herb au jus on the side. I tried some of the remade bowl. The beef tenderloin cubes were tender and juicy. Service was friendly, but just had higher expectations for the food at these prices and an average Yelp 4+. read more

Brittany was amazing. We didn't want or need for anything. She was literally on top of it. And she smiled the entire time. She was so amazing. I'm going to always ask for Brittany. The food was really good. I usually NEVER finish my food, but I did today. I'm not much of a breakfast person, but, I just couldn't resist. Please try it. And make sure you ask for Brittany. Lastly, this place, it's an amazing place to have brunch, or even a date. It's so pretty inside. I can't explain it, but, I love the look and feel of it. They also have an outside patio. Coconut tuna aguachille - light and refreshing. It looks like the will have a creamy flavor but it doesn't. It has a lemon limeish taste and is delicious. Kids burger - WIN! Short rib risotto - the short rib is very tender and flavorful, but when you pair it with the mushroom risotto Roasted chicken is marinated really well. It's definitely a good option if you want chicken. Brownie for dessert. I would probably give it a 3.7/5. Still good but I've had better. Drinks the frozen was pretty boozy. This came with smoked salmon on brioche, a side of fruit and delicious roasted potatoes. Wow. It was so light and delicious. The egg breakfast was decent but the potatoes were more on the dry crispy/crunchy side and less on the potato side. Fruit, eggs, bacon and toast is hard to mess up. The cinnamon roll was described as gooey. The one I got was cakey. I actually would not describe it as a cinnamon roll. I would have described it as a cinnamon cake. Coffee was good. Juice was good. While in Houston for a graduation we had the opportunity to meet with friends for a goodbye brunch. This place was suggested as it was in walking distance from their home. The chose to sit outside as it was a beautiful cool morning which is uncommon for Houston at this time of year, so we took advantage of the pleasant weather. This place was FANTASTIC! The food is farm to table and was so delicious! The eggs were the best any of us had eaten in a while! The yolks were such a deep orange and so rich, they were the highlight of our meal!! I wasn't very hungry so opted to order an egg, some gouda grits and toast off the ala carte menu, another friend ordered the shrimp and grits, also ordered was the Bacon Benedict and the 3 egg breakfast. The friend who ordered the shrimp and grits said the tomatoes that were in that dish were amazing and oh so sweet. He raved about them along with the plump juicy jumbo shrimp that was also included. The Bacon Benedict was served over fluffy biscuits and was the bacon was cooked perfectly. The coffee was served in nice big mugs, not little cups that needed a refill every 2 minutes and the iced tea was nice and strong! I really wish I lived in Houston so I could try more of the items on this menu. The food was superb and the service was great as well. Everyone was inviting and we even had a visit from the management to make sure everything was to our liking. This place is a definite must try anytime you are in Houston!
