They don't know what's going on but want to get my contact information so I can pay tomorrow. A light skin brother comes up and rings my food on the next register and it goes through with no problem. That's when I first used this station. It was a hotspot for that and that was why we liked coming here. These days there isn't much reason to come out here except for a couple of friends. After visiting one very recently, we stopped at this Valero once again, and it has pretty good prices. I'm not sure why Pasadena and Laporte are better for gas prices than a lot of other parts of town, but that seems to be the case and we appreciate it a lot.

That's quite a stretch. It's clean and airy ... lots of waisted space for a convenience store, but that's not my problem. I bought beer here and it was 50% higher than any other place in the area. (Seriously. I generally pay about $16. This place charged $24.) I totally understand markups and locations and all that. But this place prices stuff as if you're trapped in a ballpark or Broadway musical. I said something the the clerk about his exorbitant markups, and he simply responded "Yes." Unless I hear that they've come down on their prices, I'll keep turning left and avoid shopping here.
