The selection of foods and drinks included coffees, iced teas, frozen drinks, sodas, a roller grill, donuts, pizza by the slice, deli sandwiches, BBQ sandwiches, wraps, tacos, pretzels and hot breakfast items with a clean and bright sales area. I noticed a competitive gas price, a good amount of parking and free air outside. The location on 135th St at an intersection with a traffic light provides easy access. Overall, I'm thinking 4.5 stars and rounding up.

There are several gas stations within a minute of this location, including next door. I would have loved to see another restaurant take over the spot Big Whiskey left behind, but it seems like nothing lasts too long on this lot. RIP Blue Moose. I'm sure QT will change that. The store layout is slightly different than some of the other area QTs. Most of the area QTs have angled walls and the drink areas sort of curve around the sides. Here, they are straight on and feel less efficient in my opinion. At this location, I feel like I'm bumping into people more when trying to get a fountain drink, lid/straw, or enter/exit the side doors. I still don't care for the new layout with the checkout and kitchen being on the same side of the store. It creates a weird chaos and awkward dance wondering who is next in line. Where everyone waits in line, there is a grab and go cooler that juts out and separates the salty/savory snacks from the candy bars and things like that. People wait on both sides of the cooler, and you can't see them, so you have two groups of people piling up and no one is really sure who is next. The cashiers here are super fast and get through lines quickly, it just creates an awkward bottleneck. I also have to call them out on the ugly reddish/brownish/orange small floor tiles. This is a brand new store, why do the floor tiles look like they are from the 1970s? It makes a brand new QT look dated in my opinion. My usual QT is at 119th and Metcalf, and that store did away with the old school tiles in favor of big grayish brown tiles that look way more modern. This is probably the most anyone has ever talked about floor tiles in a Yelp review of a gas station, but it threw me off. I was hoping with brand new store, we'd see some of the issues I've had with combining the registers with the kitchen in the back of the store solved, but I feel like for a store opened in Q4 2022, it shares issues with stores they've remodeled and introduced new ones. Having said all that, QT remains my number one gas station in the metro, and it is where I will always go. One of my buddies makes fun of me because he says I know where a QT is no matter where I go in the metro area, which is sort of true. They have a great selection of food and drink, and are always clean.

I don't come to Casey's for gas, snacks, or coffee -- I come for the pizza. And honestly? It's…read morebetter than a lot of sit-down or chain spots. This time I grabbed a pepperoni and hot sausage slice off the rack -- 2 for $6 now (used to be 2 for $5), but still a solid deal when you just want a quick bite instead of a whole pie. One slice for lunch, one for dinner, and both hit the spot. Here's the caveat: consistency. It's usually high schoolers working the oven, and while they're doing their best, the cheese/sauce balance can be hit-or-miss. On weekends when the soccer/baseball fields are packed, I've often found the pizza rack empty -- probably because of heavy to-go orders. Whole pies are the same story: my go-to "Meat Galore with extra sauce" comes out excellent about 7 out of 10 times, but the other 3 depend on who's making it. That said, when it's good, Casey's pizza really delivers. It's flavorful, filling, and a great value. Right now, they've got a 40% off promo for whole pies -- not sure if it's just football weekends or other days too, but definitely worth checking if you're ordering a full pizza. Staff here is consistently friendly -- the cashier even helped me realize I was already a rewards member just by entering my phone number. Small touches like that make the experience smoother. Bottom line: Casey's pizza is one of the Midwest's best "gas station secrets." Just time it right and you'll get a slice (or a whole pie) that beats most chain spots.

Seemed like that's what she wanted. She dashed over to ask me what I needed. I pointed out that there was an older gentleman that was in her original line there before me. And in, literally, a smart ass tone she repeated "I'm running two lines" and walked over to him and laughed and helped him. I finally understood what she meant so laid my cash down and told her what pump, and as I walked out, she yelled for me to come back and asked me what I wanted I reminded her that she had just she reprimanded me for waiting and hesitating to allow the older gentleman to go ahead and go before me and that I figured she heard me. Then as I exited a tall dark haired guy, in a loud false superficial voice told me to have a wonderful day That was real fun when I'm already stressed and merely wanted some gas. Also slightly embarrassing when I'm just trying to ensure first in line is served first. That's a total one off for a quick trip.
