There was no water in pitchers or bottles, etc. - Chocolate cake and coffee was advertised but we never received it. - Food was served directly on a cafeteria tray with pre-made compartments. Eek, not sure how sanitary this is! When having an event here, do not suggest having them cater... keep the lunch ladies at home and give a local pizzeria some business!

Very expensive for a non resident $100- we were new to the area and lived in Hampton. We started in January- the pool and air was very cold . The girl instructor agreed and was shivering along with my son. We tried again the next week; same out come. Freezing and really no great instruction like we were use to at our last pool in AZ. So, we bought a wet suit and tried again. This time he lasted 20 minutes:) still cold and felt like I was paying for play time. Our last pool really worked with them swimming, kicking , going under. Very disappointed for the price we paid. I called the lady in charge and we could not get a refund, only credit to use on a class later or lane usage. I explained he was freezing and she said to keep moving. With a 2 year old he can only do so much, his body is not like an adults whose swimming laps. Waste of money for us which was hard being on a budget like many families.

The children are suffocated in rules that are a moving target. There is an atmosphere of privilege for certain students with exclusivity that protects some regardless of behavior. Academics are slightly better than the average public school but erratic. Secular new age agendas are as active here as in your local public school. You might be okay in lower grades but once you reach middle school...look out.

My daughter was a student here from 1st grade through 7th grade. The school was run into the ground…read moreby the former owner; Lyn Kutzelman. She only wanted free help and not consulting support from all the people that were in her presence as parents. Due to the sale of the school and the lack of interest for 8th grade the upper school was closed. We moved our daughter to Windham Middle School and if it was not for a full-time tutor she would have failed math. This was actually "taught" by Lyn's daughter and another instructor within HA. Core concepts were never taught but lots of photocopies of old textbooks were used as teaching materials and homework. This would explain why people used outside math teachers while their children were enrolled. In 1st grade we had 29 students and by 7th grade we had less than 10 and of the 10 only 5 were from the 1st grade class. They should be ashamed of themselves for charging what they did with the level of education being so low that back to basics was required to survive in another schools system. Keep in mind my daughter achieved high grades at HA and even made Honor Roll and High Honors. Yet, outside of here she was failing. Waste of 7 years of education and money. A NH teacher of the year has left as well so they could even keep a few of the gems that they had on staff.

(It was his first school ever- He is only 2 yrs old.) Then suddenly in January their teachers informed us that they would not be able to keep him as a full time student the following year. We have two children and my husband and I are both professionals with strict schedules. It was a shock to suddenly be told that our child could only be a student from 8:30 to 11:30am. When we asked them why, they said he would not take naps. Strange, both our children nap regularly EVERYDAY. I was able to talk to the some of the other parents who have children in the same class as my son. A few of them mentioned that their kids also do not nap, but their children WERE attending full time next year. It turns out these families have have other siblings attending Cornerstone. That made us feel that the school was exhibiting some bias against our child. We had heard very little communication from the school during his first 6 months, just mostly generic daily comms, but suddenly we began getting communications 2-3x per week detailing complaints such as our son stepping on bugs, playing with sticks too much or even chewing his food with his mouth open, really?! He was only 2! This continued for weeks which made us feel bullied. This school makes up a lot of stories to cover up their own lies that they tell to parents. The toddler teachers and the Head of school, Lee-Ann are very judgmental. Once the She finds out that you are asking questions about the teachers, some of which are not certified, or questioning their "curriculum", She will make sure that you and your child will have a terrible year filled with multiple early dismissals which cause you to scramble for babysitting coverage or take personal time. Since we been there, the Toddler House class size has dropped by over a third. Do your research, this school has had a lot of issues with the Board of Education and has had multiple lawsuits filed against them, all in the public record. The upper school has a good reputation but their Toddler House leaves a lot to be desired. The reason for my review is to help parents really ask the RIGHT questions before going into this school. This is a school where children love to learn for the love of learning, not because they have to…read moreknow something for a test. The students learn that grace and courtesy are just as important as their math facts. The students are inquisitive and respectful. The faculty are dedicated, supportive and enthusiastic. My children have been attending Cornerstone since they were 3 years old. They are now 9 and 11. Their knowledge of the world and their academics are very strong. I am always impressed by their level of maturity and respect for others and their environment. Cornerstone has shaped them to be strong, positive children.
