I'm sitting at work on a Friday afternoon, and a coworker asks me, "Do you want to watch hot girls…read morein lingerie play tackle football tonight?" ...I was offended he felt the need to ask. So, not knowing what to expect, we rolled down to the Citrus Bowl that night and became instant fans of the sport. Let's get that out of the way first. This is a real sport. More specifically, it's tackle football, coached by former NFL players/coaches, it has trades/free agency, and the girls are running real football plays with wide receivers shifting in motion and QB silent counts. One major difference between the LFL and standard football is the teams have to pass at least twice every set of downs to discourage teams from getting too run-happy. The end result is an exciting blend of beauty, brawn, bras, and panties. Our experience at the Citrus Bowl was fantastic. The stadium announcer did a good job of getting the crowd fired up, and they played a constant mix of Jock Jams to keep the party rolling at all times. My buddy and I were remarking that the music at the stadium was better than local radio. We heard songs like Get Ready For This, Whoomp There It Is, The Power, Welcome to the Jungle, Hip Hop Hooray, and Rock and Roll Part 2. Combine that with alcohol and sexy football, and it was good times! After the game, the Orlando Fantasy met with their fans to sign autographs and pose for pictures. The players were all down-to-earth, and that's just one of the many reasons why this sport is gaining in popularity. I'm not a fan of fantasy football, but I am a fan of Orlando Fantasy football. If you want to learn more about it, like the Facebook page for the LFL. You can also watch the games on MTV2 on Friday nights. It's nearing the end of the regular season now, which leads into the playoffs and ultimately the Lingerie Bowl which coincides with the Super Bowl.

This league does not even deserve one star. For starters I paid full amount in advance to still as…read moreof today receive emails from Rosa the treasurer stating money is still owed. I have even at copies of the receipts in 3 emails. Okay moving on my son is on the 3-6yr old team of which there is only one other team out there of that age group so for the last 2 months they have played each other. It's so awful that eventually the coaches and parents began to forget the game was about the kids and they began to argue with profanity over the the game. Sad to say it was so bad the President Rafael even came out to the field in the middle of a game told all the kids to go to the dug outs while he proceeded to call a meeting with coaches and board members however all I heard again was profanity from him and the others all well. Okay so on Wednesday April 15th President Rafael calls mandatory meeting for all coaches and parents and if you don't show your child will not be able to participate in any further activities until further notice; however head coach of one of the teams doesn't even show up because it was said she couldn't miss school. Now I was away on a business trip but I sent my mom and sister to the meeting and had them call me so I could hear the information on speaker, again it was awful as there were screaming back and forth. There were accusations of the president lying. Promises that were made and never followed through. I was so shocked listening on the other end that I didn't even bother to comment as I felt this was not anything I needed to be apart of. I was upset I had my mother out there with the drama. So the president reported there would be more teams coming so those 2 teams wouldn't have to keep playing each other and to my surprise this next week a different team was placed on the schedule for us to play. Email was sent out so we were looking forward to it. I told family members and to the game we went only to get there and be told the game was canceled. Okay so the coaches say we will just scrimmage the same old team we play every Saturday. I was so blown away and they even put these little kids in the back field and gave field 2 to the president's brother team to practice of which our game was scheduled on field 2 before it was canceled. The president will change the little ones and put them in the back if there is a bigger team that needs the field, I feel as though he cares nothing about these little ones as I have never seen him sit and watch a complete game however I see him watch the older kids game often. Let me see, well one month later from the meeting our same 2 teams are still playing each other and we just received an email saying that the end of the season is June 6th. I guess those accusations of failed promises weren't just accusations, it was the truth. In addition the fee I was told was $120 which is not a big deal as I pay $300 for pop warner football, the issue is in conversations around the field some paid a lot less and it was not anything based on income it was who you knew. The other issues was all the unprofessional emails I received from this Rosa person asking for a balance that was owed and if I didn't pay my child could not continue to play. Thing is I don't believe she even knew who my child was. Parents of little children be aware this is not the type of environment you want your little ones in.

When you walk in there is a desk to the left and restrooms to your right. The indoor fields are directly straight. It's definitely a well loved and used facility as seen by the floors, walls and overall aesthetic of the inside. Plenty of space for practice, games and observers. The coach for the little tots is just lovely! It's a very small group but she works to keep them engaged while still introducing soccer fundamentals through play. We enjoyed her style and sold us on the program. There is a membership fee in addition to the season fee. We're giving it a try this season and will update if needed.

It was a popular event so lines got pretty long & having that space was nice. Never felt crowded. The same goes for inside. There are 2 large soccer fields with nets around so you feel completely safe from falling balls. They had vendors inside & also on the courts in the back. There are large curtains to separate the back courts, so they set up a cute kids craft area. There are nice clean bathrooms, a large lobby, & a side room. I'm unsure what these spaces are used for typically, but they had beer & food. I got the beer special, it came in a bottle. You can't bring your drinks or food on the field. The field itself was very cool. It was turf with like black fake soil underneath. It didn't get in my shoes, it wasn't slippery, it was very innovative. I'm not in the sports world, so maybe this is typical, but I was very impressed.
