Extra shout out to Emily reaching quilting 101, who goes above and beyond to make sure that 6-9pm is still a productive learning time, assigning easy homework we can do independently, and literally offering to lend me a sewing machine for home because I'm so behind. They make it so easy to follow along, answer every question (even when you ask the same thing 3 different times) are so patient! I was even able to bring in my Grandmother's machine and Lara helped me get it set up and recommended a few pieces and tweaks. The HVAC course was great our Professor ward is very well know elder statesman of this business…read morehe actually does his instructions wearing a cap and gown ‍ and our entire class would do live service calls with Professor WARD he would wear his cap and gown on service calls I remember one time he got tripped up and fell off the ladder he was out for a few weeks in the hospital but taught via zoom so alll was ok. I believe this program is worth it . All of the students are service managers now with less then two years in the field because of our training. I remember going to Turks on graduation day 15 of us in cap and gowns for our party. Wow even the girls had the pasties resembling our graduation caps. What great memories!!!

I was worried about walking in as a 50+ year old woman that I would feel intimidated or would not be taken seriously but it was a 10 out of 10 experience!
