I get pretzels here almost every Sunday after church. I often will call ahead and order 15 bald(no salt) pretzels to freeze. I dip them under water, nuke for 10 seconds on both sides. And then broil for 2 minutes on each side. Love the cheese steaks. Party trays for all occasions can't be beat. Weekends are very busy, so I recommend calling ahead if you want more than 10 pretzels. read more

Rude, ignorant, unsympathetic. Made excuses for not following thru with calling me back the day before so I could place an order. I paid for 2 tubes of rivets that were not filled to atleast the rim of the tube at regular price. The male was mad because I said I would take all the rivets in the glass case. Came here for my first time during my most recent visit to PA. I've never had anything from here before, so I wasn't sure what to expect. It's cute inside, looks clean, and their prices are reasonable however, I ordered a pretzel with cheese and was surprised with what I got. I assumed it would be a full pretzel and that it would at least have been warmed, especially after being under the lights. It was smaller than anticipated and room temperature. I think I would have enjoyed it a lot more if it had been warmed, especially because I was taking it on the road and had no way of warming it up. Other than that, it was good! read more

Stopped here for a treat for the family. Everything seemed dandy walking in. I gave my order and I noticed that the staff person was not wearing gloves. He also did not clean his hands after handling the register. He purposely handled food without gloves with customers after me and checked out the register without cleaning his hands again. I will be reporting this to their corporate headquarters. Very disgusted with how they handle food. Please be advised before making a purchase from here. The quality of the pretzels compared to a year or two ago, in addition to the fact that the pretzels are twice the price they used to be is ridiculous. These pretzels sucked. I get covid. I get inflated prices, but really???? There's a place not too far that has the same pretzels but half the pricing. I didn't get the standard pretzel rivets. I got half ass pretzel pieces. This place is not a place I would recommend to anyone. There was a manager yelling in the background when I called to cancel my order & he said I would get no money back and I couldn't call anyone else to get a different answer. This is the location closest to us and we love our Philly Pretzels. Their service is always great. We order trays of pretzels regularly from them and have never been disappointed. When we stop in and they are baking pretzels, they always give us the ones they are baking over the ones sitting in the bin -- which is nice. Only complaint: hours. They are never open! If you are making a special trip for this location, make sure you check to ensure they are open because their hours are very non-standard. read more

We tried to pick up a large order of pretzels (125) this morning, and the store was completely vacant, even a half hour after we were told they were open. Every year in my German class, my teacher orders 100+ pretzels for an Oktoberfest celebration. This year, she made sure to order and pay for all 125 pretzels IN PERSON. This morning, she comes at opening to get the order. The store is dead. Nobody is there, no pretzels on the rack, and all of the ovens are off. She waited for half an hour after opening, making herself late for work, and nobody showed up. We were not able to get ahold of anyone via phone until three hours later when they offered to START the order. Seriously? The event is over. All they did was disappoint 100+ kids who've been looking forward to this event for several weeks, because the manager wanted to catch a couple extra Z's. read more

This specific Philly Pretzel Factory demonstrated an example of utmost buffoonery this morning. I placed an order for 125 pretzels at this location WITH CASH and IN PERSON. These pretzels were intended for a school Oktoberfest event. Despite the measures taken to receive our pretzels seamlessly, when I arrived to pick up the pretzels at 7 am (when the store opens) I found the store completely vacant. Not a single. person. This store is incredibly unprofessional, and I will not stop with complaints until I receive actual customer service instead of thievery. I went to the Gilbertsville location to pick up a pretzel tray I ordered on 1/29/2018 for Super Bowl Sunday. I purposely ordered in advance because I knew it would be insanely busy. When I went in to pick it up I was told they couldn't find my order. I was late to my party and left without the pretzels because I didn't have time to wait around for it. The customer service at this location is really terrible and I would give them no stars if I could. The last time I went there they did not fill my tray up on all the way so I had to ask them to put more pretzels in. I will never return to this location, as there is always a problem. read more
