Yocco's is more than a hot dog, it's an establishment. This location in particular will bring back all the nostalgic vibes you've been craving. The Hot Dog King is proudly displayed by an iconic mural in the parking lot and in life size form in the dining room. If you're new to Yocco's just know that "everything" on your hotdog includes chili, mustard, and chopped raw onion - no thank you. I opted instead for chili and cheese, and it satiated my craving for a coney. All this is to say - Yocco's isn't fancy. It's a hot dog. The staff, the tables, the paint - it doesn't look like it's changed in years, but that's part of it's charm. They have some other menu items, but if I were you, I would just stick to dogs.

Yes, finally I, along with SGW's Local Eats & Take Outs made it to Yocco's. Now the reason I am here is to defend the honor of Yocco's, and also to get some great tasting dogs! So, call this a Re-Review of Frank the Tanks Raw Dogging. Now I walked in along with my Outside the Box Live Co Host FP (False Paranormal NEPA), and we were greeted with open arms, a big hello! FP ordered a cheeseburger which he said was really good, they made to to his order actually, he likes his well done, (Thats how they do them as we were told). Me I, to a degree, recreated Tanks, I got a plain hot dog. Now the plain was a 4 out of 5, the dog had a great taste, good bun to dog ratio, it was toasted. Now it would have been a 5'er if I hod some type of topping on it. Now the second I tried was the chili dog, now I did forget to add the cheese as per tanks video. Again, good bun to dog ratio, the hot dog was great, now what made it a 5 out of 5, the onions, mustard, which I'll talk about in a second, and the chili sauce. The mustard as looking at it was not your basic bright yellow mustard but almost looked like a brownish color, regardless of it tasted great on the dog. Now the sauce, they don't overkill your dog with it but just enough to give it that great taste. So again, tank was wrong on the plain and chili dog. Now my third dog was the mustard and onions, another 5 out of 5. Now the fries were average pre frozen but came out nice and hot. GREAT DOGS YOCCO"S, YOU ARE DEFINITELY "THE HOT DOG KINGS", and the honor of the dog has been defended. I'm about an hour and 30 away near the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Area so i am not sure when I'll be back. But I will return someday. Watch our review on our YouTube Channel. They are the king for a reason. Sensational service and tremendous food. This place has been consistent for me for 40 years. The secret sauce is truly one of a kind!

4 stars because who doesn't like a quick hot dog. PA establishment that I support. Simple menu that looks like it hasn't changed for years. They know what they do and do it well, though they may want to make sure quality is good across locations.

    Love this place!!!

When I'm in the mood for a hot dog, this is where I like to go. I like to order the chili cheese dog with everything on it. The hot dogs are slightly burnt, with a dry chili sauce on top. If you get it with everything, you'll get american cheese, onions, and mustard. I like to get two of these along with a large Mrs. T's pierogi's which will contain three large pierogi's. Unfortunately, you won't get any dipping sauce with that--I would like to see some sour cream to dip that in. But overall, I like the food here and prices are reasonable, but note that this is cash only, but there is an ATM machine in the back. If you don't like/want hot dogs, they also offer hamburgers and cheese steaks. You'll also find crinkled fries along with an assortment of drinks. Their is a drive-thru or you can sit inside. The place isn't overly big and looks old. Tables are a dark finish and the benches are a bright red, green, or blue. It's a bit of a drive for us to get up here, but about 3-4 times a year, I get in the mood for their hot dogs and make the trek north.

As someone who has grown up getting Yocco's on a weekly basis to someone who has had the amazing opportunity to work for the company as well, it TRULY is the place you wanna bring your out of town friends/family to! The food is always amazing! The hotdogs are meant to be well-done. That's the Yoccos' hotdog for you! The service at every single store is respectable, if you go ANYWHERE during a rush, it's going to take time and patience but the Yocco's crews handle these rushes with perfection. The workers and atmosphere is so welcoming that you WANT to go back. Iacocca family is very involved in their business and truly makes it the best experience for the staff and customers. Forever recommending!

Two dogs with cheese - yes there was a "test" bite- and my perogies!

Nasty thin scrawny hotdogs. I live in VA and the 7-11 has better hot dogs. I went a second time to give it another try. Never again!

From long-distance coordination of the event (I am in Virginia) through execution the day of -- Shannon, Brittney and Jim Yergey himself were absolutely wonderful to work with and made the day so special for us. It was an absolute bash and oh yeah... the beer was good too ;) If I wasn't throwing a party I would have tasted them all, but the general consensus from the guests was the beer was spot on! Of what I did try, they were expertly-crafted from the seriously refreshing Kolsch and Session IPA to the Hefe that struck all the right banana and clove notes! A MUST stop the next time you are in Allentown :)

There were Santa hats, inflatable snowmen, and an ice cream truck - what more could you want? I had the Brown Ale and the Dunkelweizen - both delicious. My boyfriend shared his Wee Heavy and Bitter - again, winning beers. Yergey's was not on our radar when we ventured through Emmaus, but it was the highlight of our random day trip to Lehigh Valley. In the spirit of Christmas, we purchased a bottle of the 2021 Holiday Beer - a doppelbock called Decorator. The bartender even gave us a complimentary matching Christmas Ornament when she overheard that I collect them! If I lived closer to Yergey Brewing, I'd be here once a week. The people were welcoming and the beer was delicious. I'm definitely keen to come back! In

At first it was a little rough and then it became outstanding for a while. And then it started to slip again. Haven't been back since it started to slip. Freshness and good ingredients are very important. It seemed like the ingredients were slipping the last time we were there. We have not been back. There's a lot of good restaurants in this area that don't slip. So we stick with our favorites for now but, we do like to try new things. Most of the time the service is spot on and really nice. Such a shame to have all those good things in place and not pay attention to the most important detail. Food quality is where it starts. If you don't do this correctly and use subpar raw ingredients down to every detail, you're wasting all the hard earned resources that you have to work with. It's a desperate move, not a move that is going to lead to a long term successful business of any kind. The key is sticking to quality and find a way to keep going with those good ingredients. Lower prices can jumpstart the business again. And, if you're fortunate enough to get your customers back and your business grows again, lower your prices just a little to show your appreciation for your customers. Sincere good will is what you want and what you need to spread. Don't allow greed to return even in difficult times if they should return. And in regards to ambiance, we found it to be nice but, on occasion the shades weren't blocking the sun well enough. Small, yet important detail. Clean restrooms are also very important. I understand that you can't be everywhere at once but, like a security guard, you can do a run from station to station or restroom or freezer to check that everything is all good. I used to work in a kitchen for a few years. I loved the first one but, the second one had some people that I couldn't work around. Two entirely different experiences. The second one drove me back to pursuing my music career again and I am still at it. I will be playing at The Water Lantern Festival on July 18th at Cedar Beach Park in Allentown. My set is at 8 pm. And try not to look sad. I understand it's not going to be easy. Good things don't come easy is a saying that I heard a long time ago and I understand it from experience. And I can testify that it worked for me.
