I don't usually do this but, in light of what our current way of living is, I felt it necessary to highlight (or lowlight) this! I ordered 19 hotdogs yesterday and they were AWFUL! I asked for extra sauce and extra onions on them and there was the thinnest line of sauce and barely any onions on them. The rolls tasted stale (trust me, my husband worked for a bakery), etc. Si, I did the only thing I could think of... I called and asked for the manager/owner. When he got on the phone, I asked who I was speaking to and he said...... this is Mike, the owner. I told him my story to which he responded.... well... hesitation, hesitation ... I'm sorry? I hope you will come back and ask for me when you come in and I will handle your order. It was more of the I'm sorry? than anything else ... and HELL NO MIKE!!! Sometimes you just get blown away. This is one of those occasions. Stoped in Boyertown on the way home. They were having a community festival. We were hungry. Live music. Train rides, food, crafts. But as I was choosing between many options there was this smell. Hotdogs, burgers, onions. There wasn't even a real sign. I actually walked past. But I went back and boy was I glad . My wife had a hotdog with kraut , chili sauce and mustard. I had a double cheese burger with everything. Wife loved the dog and said the Kraut was like Germany, lol. The double cheese was 1/2 lb hot juicy grilled burger fresh ground hand pressed. It was $4. Yup that's it. Two bags of Goods Potato chips and two sodas . It was $8 and change. Damn!! I got a bagel and a cold brew at Duncan Donuts in the morning at it cost the same. If you are a burger or hot dog aficionado then run here!! It's absolutely worth the trip. New favorite!! read more

The coolest thing is that this tiny little counter probably hasn't changed a bit since the day it opened decades ago. The flat top grill is smack in the middle of the picture window that fronts the street - so you can cruise by and watch the cook slinging burgers and dogs. "Everything" on a cheeseburger gets you mustard, grilled onions, and a sauce that I'd call Texas Hot Sauce if I were back home in CNY (basically a ground beef infused chili sauce). read more
