I ordered a hamburger and a "little" fries, which, as usual at Five Guys, was still more than enough. I ended up eating the food in the car and loved every bite. Service was good I got there when they first openned. The burger was exactly what I wanted: a little sloppy, in the best way, with real, quality meat and plenty of flavor. The fries were hot and plentiful. They delivered exactly what I was hoping for when I pulled in. This visit gets a full 5 stars from me.

Go ahead and add Five Guys to the list of places that just aren't worth the price anymore. FORTY…read moreDOLLARS, for 2 tiny, messy, crushed, sloppily slapped together burgers, and a dixie cup of the tiniest, saltiest, burnt french fry ENDS imaginable. A large fries here is EIGHT. DOLLARS. I spent EIGHT. DOLLARS. for a cup of potato butts that were fried within an inch of their life, and then bathed in salt, before being thrown upside down into a bag. I have been a fan of Five Guys since their humble DC Metro days. I remember when it was like TWO locations in Virginia, and we would take the drive to get the best fast food burger there was. When they shouted "2 in the door!," when you walked in, and you snacked on peanuts while reading where todays potatoes were from. Even though most of that still happens, it no longer feels like part of the charm, it feels like a CHORE. Back then, they CRAFTED your burger, because they wanted you to have the best burger of your life. They told you about where the fries came from, because they took pride in knowing that YOU know they care enough to know their damn potatoes lineage. Now, it's just page 3 of the employee handbook: "Write a city name on the board...who cares." It's not just this location either. All of Five Guys have gone down. The time before this time, at the Moorestown location, I remember having to go back in and ask for more fries, because I just couldn't believe the paltry amount of fries I received for, again, EIGHT FUCKING DOLLARS! A PAPER CUP SIZE OF FRIES! FOR $8!!!! It was me and the Misses, and it was FORTY. DOLLARS. for what isn't even that good of a burger anymore. And the fries were pitiful. I like Five Guys, and when they get it right, they are ALMOST worth the exorbitant cost. But, they just rarely, if ever, get it right anymore, and they still cost an arm and a leg. I won't be back until the quality comes up, or the prices come way down.

Burger runn Cheesesteak…read more I've been told repeatedly to try the cheesesteaks here. On a previous visit I had the burgers and I thought they were very good. Though at my visit today I discovered they use Martin's potato rolls for the burgers. The place was a former deli and is tiny. I was greeted at the door and they took my order. Cheesesteak fried onions provolone. My go to order. The floor is tiled and slippery and I almost fell several times. It was around 4:15 so I thought I beat the dinner rush but apparently everyone orders from here on DoorDash or Uber Eats. At least a dz orders were picked up while I was waiting. I thought the wait was a little long.... But I stood there waiting for my sandwich. Finally a woman from the back come up front to address a problem with a chicken order and asked what I was waiting for.... A cheesesteak I replied and the counter woman that took my order grabbed a bag that was sitting in the pickup pile and handed it to me Alex? She asked yes I replied. I took my sandwich and got into my truck. At a red light I reached over to feel the bag... it was Luke warm. I expected my sandwich to be piping hot. Ggggggrrrrrrr. That is why I ordered at the place but the nearly 30 minute wait with the undetermined amount of time it was on the to go counter will you get the picture. On my arrival at home I opened the sandwich and snapped a photo. At this point it was barely warm. I prepared it with ketchup, hot pepper hoagie spread and my last slices sweet horseradish dill pickles. The first bite was underwhelming. Barely warm and the roll which was supposed to be sarcone's tasted more like amoroso. Onions were diced into fine cubes and I prefer more than the tiny amount provided. Overall taste was good but because it was nearly cold hard to actually evaluate. The overall sandwich had enough meat and a good meat to bread ratio. I found no trace of fat or grizzle. Maybe if circumstances were better I would have been happier but it did not reach the hype.

We've had generally decent service and somewhat inconsistent food, but it generally leans on the good side. Today was... interesting. The wings came out great. I usually order extra sauce bc, depending on the cook, the wings sometimes lack a lot of sauce. The cheesesteak came out good, but the cheese was basically all on top instead of mixed throughout. Weird. There was a sign in the door about $4 copper lager, one of my favorite beers. No dates or times listed. I asked our server about it and she mentioned it was on Tuesdays for club members. Nothing about that in the sign... Speaking of which, we've seen this server a bunch of times, but this was our first time with her. She was rude and inattentive. Dropped plates with no words. Barely checked on us. I don't know if she was in a bad mood or not bc I don't feel like we did anything to deserve the attitude. For almost $70 with tip, I expected more. I mentioned to my wife I don't want to go back anytime soon, especially with the kids. Too expensive for meh food with bad service. I'll just cook at home next time. So disappointed.

The windows were open for a great breeze, though turning the fans on would've helped with the sudden heat. Our waitress was kind ,on top of everything, and our drinks were poured very well. The seasonal strawberry crush cocktail looked especially nice with the light shining through its red color. The chicken quesadillas were grilled crisp on the outside with fillings that blended together nicely. The southwest chicken salad was plated beautifully and, once mixed, had a crispy backyard BBQ kind of flavor. Since it's my birthday month I used my free treat on the salty-sweet Salted Caramel Cookie and skipped the ice cream so I could take it home and enjoy it on its own.
