The elementary children are given even more opportunities to blossom with school plays, field trips, and maximizing their developing intellect to create "joyful scholars". Additionally smaller class sizes allow the children to be able to investigate and subject more deeply so they gain mastery of a concept as opposed to just a basic understanding. They go to Cherry Hill Park and the library across the street almost daily as long as weather permits. My husband and I work full time and I have to say they are wonderful when it comes to staying open with inclement weather as much as they possibly can. In the past 2 years I can barely count on one hand the number of times they have opened late or closed early because of snow. They really do all they can to be there for us working parents because a lot of us have jobs that don't close for snow like the government does. Elena is the owner/director and she is so greatly involved with everything. She's very responsive to all e-mails, phone calls. She's often there working with the kids and teachers.
