I called on Monday afternoon with an exhaust system problem, and they booked me into an appointment for Wed at 1pm. They took my truck in at the scheduled time, and less than 10 mins diagnosed a rusted and broken flange from exhaust pipe. They took me into the bay and showed me the issue. Gave me amount quote and time to fix. Also showed me a secondary unrelated issue, noting it could wait but to monitor it. They were backing the truck out of the bay just as I was returning at their estimated time of completion. Cost I paid was exactly was I was quoted even though a 3rd really minor issue with the muffler was identified that they also fixed. Quick, simple, honest and professional.

I strongly recommend this company to anyone. They are really responsive to customer needs, and keep a close eye on how various components are doing (preventative maintenance.) Every repair I've had done here was completed correctly the first time, and usually within a day or two. I think the longest I've had to wait was 3 days, but that was because it took that long to get a part. Geyer's provides an estimate up front, but in my experience the estimate tends to be on the higher end. I've always been pleasantly surprised to be charged less than the initial estimate. Speaking of which, they also offer a military discount for soldiers and veterans, which takes a little extra off your total. They've also been really good about communicating, calling with the estimate and again when the job is completed. Everyone is courteous and helpful and takes time to explain what needs to be done or what was done if you have questions.

I have not forgotten, though, to memorize exactly what my car needs when I take it to a repair shop. Before I had my oil change done at Watertown Auto Repair, I asked the guy at the desk how much it would cost for a full synthetic oil change for my 2012 Toyota Yaris sedan. He asked me how much oil my car took. I told him 4 quarts. After the hundreds of oil changes that I have had done on my car over the last ten years, I knew exactly how much oil my car takes. He told me $52 before taxes. After my oil change was done and he gave me the bill, it said $58.95 before taxes. I asked him why it cost more than the original estimate. He pointed to the bill and told me that it took 4.5 quarts. Obviously, I knew that this was not true. I looked in my manual but it did not have the amount of oil needed. It was not a repair manual. So, I went online. Over and over reputable websites stated that my car takes 3.9 quarts or, as I said, 4 quarts. Finally, I found the coup de grâce, the actual manual at Toyota with the oil specifications. Funny, Toyota seems to think that my car only takes 3.9 quarts of oil. Since they manufactured the car, I would think that they know how much oil it takes. Watertown Auto Repair must know something that the manufacturer doesn't or he lied and cheated me. Of course he did. Check out my images. I even provided the URLs. It might seem like a small thing, just a few dollars, but if I can't trust Watertown Auto Repair with a small job, I can't trust them with a large job either. Next time, I could be overcharged $1,000. That will never happen because I will never go back there again. Of course, I already told him that at the time. They lost my business and they should lose yours too. P.S. Service centers/repair shops, I'm the wrong person to cheat.

He took my car in…read moreand changed my timing belt for my 2009 KIA when almost every other service center said that they couldn't/wouldn't work on a "foreign" car. The only other service center that could do the work couldn't get me in for several weeks and when asked who they could recommend, they told me that Tom's was the place to go. Tom told me exactly what he was going to change, charge, and do - and he called me to come in and physically showed me an issue with my pads where they had eaten into the brake disc and gave me a fair price for replacement before doing the work. Tom was able to do the work the same day and I have not had any issues with it since! I definitely will go back to him for any needs for my car and will recommend all of my friends to do so as well!
