This is the go to place to have your vehicle serviced! I had my 32' motorhome inspected and the oil changed. There are not many places equipped to handle the bigger motorhomes, but this place is. I take all my vehicles here as I know I will have expert work done at a Fair price. This is not your standard service shop with Some grumpy old guy behind the desk. This is my experience and I know choosing a mechanic is always at your own risk. This is a long post so read the full review if you need. Bottom line, up front, they charge too much and had too many errors for being so expensive. Their professionalism isn't the best. They make you pay full OEM price for parts from the actual dealer instead of finding certified parts for less. After paying $3k my car started to stall when I drove it from their lot, but they still charged me $200+ for them to conduct a follow on diagnostic to see why my car was still not working after they "fixed" it. They allowed me to pick up my car from their lot with parts inside the engine not put together properly then blamed the mistake on me instead of taking responsibility and apologizing. I will never go back to this place or recommend them to even my worst enemy. I turned in my 2013 Subaru Outback on 17 June 21, because my check engine light was on. They were able to get me in and do an assessment that day. I was sent a link to see a full diagnostic of my vehicle with a green, amber, red rating of what was good to what needed immediate attention. I was impressed by that. It was determined that most of my issues could be corrected after changing out 2 catalytic converts and two O2 sensors. The parts took days to come in and they initially ordered the wrong part. So in the end I had to leave my car with them for one week. I was initially quoted $2600, but the bill ended up being $3000, with no explanation as to what the difference was from the quoted price to the end price. When I picked up my vehicle, as soon as I drove it off the Service Plus lot, my car started to stall. Now, upon initial assessment the Service Plus technician noted that the car felt as though it was going to stall. However, my car never did stall until having the work done at Service Plus. They took my car back in on 24 June 21 and did another diagnostic to find out why the car was now stalling. This diagnostic to see why my car was now stalling cost $200+, which I was charged for after having paid $3k already. Now, remember the car did not stall until I had them "fix" my car, but I was charged $200+ for them to determine why my car stalled after they "fixed" it. On 25 June 21, I had to call and ask for an update on my car. Being that it was Friday, I wanted to know if it needed to stay over the weekend or not. I spoke to Brandon, who told me that the code from the diagnostic determined my mass airflow sensor needed changed out. He stated that the part would not be ordered until Monday because Subaru was closed. He asked me if I wanted to leave my car over the weekend or come pick it up. I informed him I'd come pick it up since nothing was really wrong with my car and driving it wouldn't hurt my car. He said that was fine and gave me my keys. I drove it straight home and didn't drive it all weekend, planning to drop it off first thing Monday morning. On 28 June 21, Brandon called me around 8:30am, to let me know that the part was ordered and would be in on Wednesday and I could drop my car off on Thursday. My car was driving even worse than before I turned it in initially, so I opened my hood to look. The entire air filter was open and the housing was completely loose and not bolted down. There were missing bolts and the attachments to the air filter housing were missing. It turns out Brandon did not check with the mechanics before giving me my keys to ensure my car was put back together and ready to be driven. I brought my car back and spoke with, I believe her name is Jennifer or Rebecca, the owner, she informed me Brandon told her that he told me my car was not safe to drive and I took it anyway. This was not true. After speaking to Brandon he reworded what he had to say and told me I should have known my car shouldn't have been driven. I admit that I am completely ignorant with all things mechanical. This is why I bring my car to "professionals" to take care of my car. I expect professionals to act as such and inform me of what I need to know about my car. I expect them to be honest and take responsibility for their mistakes, not trying to blame me with lies. I told Brandon that all I needed to hear from him was an apology for not checking if my car was put back together and ready to drive. He did apologize. But I no longer have faith in this place. With the prices they charge, they should have no errors in service. I also believe they try to scare people who have no mechanical experience into paying full price for parts from the dealer when it's completely unnecessary to pay as much as they charge. You can find quality work for way less than they charge. I'm the end, I was charged $3k for 2 O2 sensors and 2 catalytic converters, $200+ for a second diagnostic, it would have been $400+ to change out the mass airflow sensor and I have a rental car bill for all the time my car was waiting in their lot for parts. read more

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!!! Heed my warning people! My wife came to the business by herself to get a flat tire patched for $40 a little on the high side but at firestone or other shops would cost average $25 The thing that pisses me off though which made me write this review is the fact that they tried to make false claims about the condition of my vehicle claiming that there are problems with the power steering lines, transmission leaks, etc. and that the cost of the repair would be over $1000 they sent an email listing the cost of all the repairs later on. I literally got this car tuned up a couple days ago by a mechanic ran through all tests and had fluids replaced there is no leak cause if there was one I would see it... VISIT AT YOUR OWN RISK Do not let your spouse or someone not knowledgeable come to this shop by themselves they will get taken advantage of! read more

Have you ever had a car service place just HAND YOU MONEY$$??!?! Well this place did!!! Granted it's not in cash but in coupons but still it was $55 worth of coupons!! I made my appoint for a car oil change where my old place simply just does it for me based on the car owner's manual but this place asked me if I wanted synthetic or a synthetic blend. . . Ummmm. . . My suave response was "Please do whatever it calls for in the manual" swiftly masking that I did not know a thing about cars but it probably did show and I will probably get hit with the more expensive bill. To my surprise I was not. I only needed the cheaper synthetic blend (note to self to commit this to memory) and I was honestly told so. An honest mechanic?!?! This is a rare find indeed!! Upon check out (tip - Yelp check ins will give you $25 off your bill), I was presented with a $5 coupon for my next visit for me, a $25 coupon for a referred friend and another $25 for my account based on said referred friend. The people are nice, I'll give them that, but I won't be back. They are very simply overpriced. $70 for an oil change and tire rotation (without the upgrade in oil it would have been $50) and they came out after changing my oil saying I need to replace the catalytic converter, change the spark plugs and service the fuel induction. Well over $500 of work and my car is less than 3 years old with only 32,000 miles on it. You definitely do not ever need to replace spark plugs on a vehicle with only 32,000 miles on it. Any place that comes out from a simple oil change trying to tell me my car suddenly needs over $500 in maintenance is not a very trustworthy place, in my opinion. I won't be back. I want to update to add that since receiving a very professional email from the owner that I do feel better about my experience there. I still prefer not to come out of an oil change and hear such a large number thrown at me for maintenance, but I can see now that they were just recommending what is usually typical maintenance. I do still feel the oil change was rather expensive, but otherwise the people are certainly very nice. read more

I went here for a simple oil change. They tried to put synthetic oil in my car then lied to me and said they confirmed with the Toyota dealership. After finally telling them put regular oil after calling the dealership they stripped the drain bolt and snapped it from over tightening. They then tried to charge me for the parts and labor for the part they broke. You are a fool if you bring your car to these scam artists. read more

If you use them for an inspection and they make recommendations, call around for second opinion/price check to avoid overpaying. So ive been using this location for about 2+ years getting both cars serviced and repaired here. Ive also brought clients to this business on 2 occasions and anytime someone asked if i knew a place id recommend them. The people are super friendly and usually make time for you and get repairs done relatively fast. Now over the last few months there services have degraded in quality. For example during a routine oil change they recommended changing all 3 belts on the engine based off the fact that they saw a crack in 2 of the 3 and would be cheaper to change all 3. So going off there recommendation we choose to knock out the repairs based off previous experience. Well after the belts were changed there was this incredibly loud screeching from the belts not grabbing. The sound was so loud my neighbors could hear and complain. I called and explained the issue brought the car in and they said it had to do with oil being on the belts so they cleaned it and i carried on the next day screeching back so went back in and they tightened the belts. After that i left and problemcontinued the next day so back to their garage o went and the problem ended up being that they put an aftermarket brand of belts on my car instead of the recommended belt. Around the same time i had to replace my A/C compressor based off their recommendation since there was a leak. After the repairs went i rarely use my a/c since it doesnt get too hot near fort drum but the day of repair i checked and it worked. Now during a recent oil change im told that a leak is coming from the tube that goes to the said a/c compressor so i bring up that they were the ones that did the work and asks if its covered under warranty. Im told that they only worked on the compressor which is under warranty but the tube that had no issue prior to them removing it from the compressor and reattaching it is not covered. So they price the line out and its in excess of $500 dollars but must order it. So last week i call to make an appt to get this issue fixed since im pcsing back to NC where in AC is needed. I explain everything with the owner and explian that wheather its covered or not i need it fixed regardless. So after she explains to me that its not covered she explains that she will order the part and call me to set up a time since im leaving the area on the 6th of june. I have not received any phone call for this and although i like to give the benefit of the doubt it feels as if they were just running the clock knowing id be gone soon. I will only recommend this place for oil changes but for any major work i recommend going somewhere else. Only because of the quality of there work has been less than stellar and this warranty situation has rubbed me the wrong way. You would expect that anything they touched must be covered in said warranty but apparently only if you have them install it. So based off this logic i should have just disconnected all the components myself and gave them the compressor and i install it myself. read more

This repair shop had deliberately tampered with our truck to keep us coming in for more repairs. Once every three weeks we had someone wrong according to them and cost of over 12K to fix! We then got suspicious and took it to another mechanic and they said Service Plus tamped with the wiring to make the whole truck system fail. Thus we didn't need any repairs and they didn't charged us an arm and a leg to find out what was wrong with it! read more

Long story short, they were going to charge me $850 to replace the battery cables and starter in my vehicle, plus telling me I needed to have my power steering fluid flushed twice, and that my brake caliper was stuck, which would have brought my bill up to $1100. I stupidly paid them a $450 deposit over the phone, before thinking twice, and calling another repair shop, as well as having my father call a repair shop in my home state. Both places said I was being obscenely overcharged. I paid to have my vehicle towed to another shop, where after tightening some cables and cleaning a little corrosion, the vehicle started right up with no issues. They tested the starter; it was fine. They also checked the brake calipers, said they were fine, just needed a little grease, and checked the power steering fluid, which was also fine. Service Plus would have been happy to charge me $1100 for nonexistent problems. My husband is serving in Afghanistan right now, and they were going to take advantage of me, big time. I still had to pay them over $100 for "diagnostics," which I object to, since nothing they diagnosed was correct. I'm pretty unhappy, and want everyone to be careful, and not to patronize this business. read more

Tried to over sale services to me, big time. After attempting to get a state inspection (and failing) I was told I needed front brakes, rear brakes, rear shocks and a serpentine belt. I was quoted $2300 for the work. The front brakes legitimately needed to be done. After changing the fronts myself I moved to the back. These had supposedly been done right before I bought the truck. After taking off the rear wheel I confirmed the receipts from the previous owner were correct. The rear brakes had less than 5000 miles on them and were in great shape. I replaced them anyway. Service plus told me I need a new serpentine belt because mine "would fail any day now". I replaced the belt myself but the one I removed looked excellent. The total cost of parts I replaced ~ $400 and a few hours versus their $2300 . Avoid this place at all costs. I went here because of the positive reviews but am appalled at their attempt to prey on service members for services that didn't need to be performed. read more
