Sadly, what we experienced on the wedding day was a total operational collapse. Without a single phone call, text, or email to me or the planning team, Ace decided to swap our reserved party bus for a generic Greyhound-style coach. They later claimed the original vehicle had an air conditioning issue. Having worked in events, I understand that mechanical failures happen, but the complete failure to communicate a major vehicle change to the designated point of contact is unprofessional and unacceptable. To make matters worse, they secretly outsourced the job. The driver who showed up didn't even work for Ace; he was a third-party contractor (we still do not know who or what company it was outsourced to) who clearly hadn't seen a single page of the itinerary Samantha and I had spent hours perfecting. For the second time that day, I had to play navigator, intervening and redirecting him to get us back on track while he continued to wear his AirPods. It is absolutely absurd that the Best Man had to babysit a hired driver all day just to get the wedding party from point A to point B. A transportation company's job is to alleviate stress on a wedding day, not be the primary cause of it. Ace Limo took our money, completely ignored the careful planning we did with their own staff, outsourced the job to an unprepared contractor, and failed at basic communication. Despite my previous positive history with this company, this experience was entirely unacceptable, and I will never recommend Ace Limo again.
