The best food around the lake. Give it a try! Whether you are all about Vietnamese food or haven't tried it before, this place is a great stop. Both meals were prepared quickly, exactly what we ordered and packed with flavor! We have a new favorite restaurant in town!

Five star pho and Vietnamese restaurant just between Guntersville and Albertville. - family owned, and family employee business and you can tell that the staff cares about the food they make- from the bubble teas to the home made spring rolls. Everything here is home made, made to order(takes food a lil longer) but the short wait for the authentic food is worth it! Logan

Love the food! It was nice and spicy just like I ordered it. Wish more restaurants paid this close attention to detail.

We were seated, handed menus and asked what we would like to drink quickly. Within 10 minutes the restaurant was full. I ordered Chicken Pho and Stir fried egg noodles with chicken and vegetables. My friend ordered an egg roll and shrimp fried rice. My chicken pho was prepared with glass noodles and it was delicious! The broth was flavored well and not too salty or too sweet. 5/5 The stir fried noodles with chicken and vegetables was delicious. The dish was prepared with egg noodles. 5/5 My friend said her egg roll and shrimp fried rice were delicious. 5/5 I was able to customize my dishes by choosing the noodles I wanted substituting glass noodles for rice stick in my pho and egg noodles for rice stick in my stir fried noodle dish. I like rice stick noodles but wanted different noodles this day. Please stop by and give this locally owned restaurant a try. The food is very good. 5/5

And I highly recommend them always), a chardonnary, lemongrass chicken, and chicken fried rice to go for the Hubs. First off, they now serve Sutter home wine in airplane plastic bottles. YUCK. Even their wine previously, which was poured from a bottle, was nargial but it was better than this, which was awful! Again the rolls were delish, as always! Thanks for that! The peanut dipping sauce was delicious also! So there's that. On to the main, the lemongrass chicken. It should have been called sauteed bell pepper and onions with white rice. The chicken was finely chopped for the most part and I left hungry. All this was 40.00 with a tip and again it was not the standard Viet Huong used to have with hearty meals that constantly made a nice leftover lunch for me. They have gotten stingy on their protein at least in the lemongrass. I noticed it last time I came here and chocked it up to being an off night. Well it's apparantly the new norn. This is one of mybdwarrst friend/Sorority Sister's favorite places to eat as she typically gets their Pho. I'll go back if I get to enjoy her company, I just don't plan to visit solo again. It's too expensive to get awful "wine" and skimpy proteins. The last next to me was another soko diner and complained about her (I think) vegan or vegetarian meal she called in advance about and then showed up and it wasn't available per her request. There was no manager working the floor and I didn't complain, and likely that's why I didn't see a manager. I do hope your experience at this long-standing locallwd owned and opened by a high school classmate is much better than my last two visits were.

I say menu and food are different because taste and quantity is different. I was greeted by a nice gentleman who asked me if I was dining in or getting takeout. I decided to dine in. Dave ordered a pork banh mi and I ordered chicken pho with glass noodles and chicken salad. The pork banh mi was cooked through and flavored well enough. There wasn't much meat. The radishes and carrots were seasoned. We didn't see jalapeños. Taste wise this sandwich was ok. How to improve? Season the meat more, add more meat and add jalapenos. 3/5 My Pho ga with glass noodles was ok. The broth didn't have the rich taste I expect. It tasted weak. It definitely was not salty which is a plus but I couldn't taste the spices. My chicken was shredded and tough. I was disappointed the amount of meat and noodles were much less than other Vietnamese restaurants locally. 3/5 The chicken salad was ok. The dressing was sweeter than other restaurants. I would have preferred more meat. The chicken was shredded and on the tough side. 3/5 I may come back to try the foods here. If you are in Madison, this locally owned restaurant is open and ready to serve. 3/5

Staff was warm, patient, and welcoming from the start. I ordered a Sprite, and the metal cups were so cute, small detail, but I loved it. I had been hoping for warm sake after seeing it on the online menu earlier, but they don't offer that anymore, so the online menu could use an update. No big deal though, the Sprite hit the spot. For food, I got the raw steak pho and WOW. Phenomenal. Every bite was delicious... and that's saying something because I have the cilantro-tastes-like-soap gene, and I still loved it. I would absolutely order it again. For dessert, I tried the pineapple boba, super refreshing and a perfect way to end the meal. Overall, such an enjoyable experience. Great service, excellent food, and very reasonable prices. We'll definitely be back!

The crab rangoon and coconut shrimp were overcooked, tough, chewy, and very bland. I understand delivery can affect temperature, but it shouldn't make food tough or flavorless. I hope this was just an off night because I was really looking forward to trying this restaurant.

We were seating fairly quickly and when we got there it was just one other table, the waitress took out drink order and was really confusing about the diet coke (I am assuming they were out of the syrup but we asked for diet coke and she said yes then said coke so we were like no diet, and she said no, so we asked if she had diet and she said Coke) so we opted for unsweet tea. We placed our orders and my mom and sister received their food and then the waitress disappeared. Finally another woman came to the table and said the food was being prepared, but after 25 mins (my mom and sister finished their meals basically) my fried rice was brought out. Then not even two seconds after the other waitress brought the food, our original waitress came and took my sister's plate while she was still eating the banana roll. It was pretty awkward, no apologies, no nothing so idk if this is a normal occurrence or the first day for the waitress or if there was an issue but new tables came in and sat down and received their food all before mine came out. About 6 to go orders went out as well. I would've expected them to say something as an update but we were left in the dark. Overall i dint know if I would be back, the service was really bad, and i dint think that food makes up for the lack of service.

First, I judge Thai places on their ability to make a good Pad Thai... call it unfair, but that's what I do. Their version is seasoned (I got it spicy, they delivered without burning my whole body out; but I did have a decent sweat on me) and not oily at all. It's the perfect blend of taste without creating an oil slick in your mouth. Lunch came with soup, a small side salad, and Thai spring rolls for under $14. That's value to me, for the price of what fast food places nearly cost and getting a legit full meal that is worlds better than some greasy fast food is another sign to me that there is something special here. The staff was friendly, prompt, and courteous. It may look like a hole in the wall or not overly fancy... because it is not. It is clean, well kept, and has decor that matches the theme. It's not trying to be something that it isn't. The focus is on the food and ensuring people enjoy the food and experience if you are dining in. I will be back. I will get the Pad Thai again. I hope it's just as good or even better than the first time. This is definitely not a one and done kind of place for how good the food is and the prices.

This Filipino-inspired coffee shop offers a warm, welcoming atmosphere, excellent service, and drinks that stand apart from the typical chain coffee experience. Our family sampled three beverages: the Salted Caramel Kape, a Kape Kape with added caramel, and an Ube Kape. Every drink was smooth, flavorful, and expertly prepared. For food, my wife and I ordered the pork siopao while Bethany chose the chicken siopao. Both arrived piping hot, with soft, pillowy buns and savory fillings that paired perfectly with the coffee. The service was friendly, the ambiance inviting, and every item we ordered exceeded expectations. It's refreshing to find a local café that executes both beverages and light bites so well. Best of all, this was one of the places Bethany most wanted to experience during our trip to Huntsville, and it did not disappoint. Kape Tayo delivered memorable coffee, delicious siopao, and an experience that left all three of us wanting to come back. Most of the coconut jellies and tapioca pearls fell to the bottom of the drink underneath the ice. In addition, I'm not sure if there's just a lot of Pandan dye that was used but the interior of my mouth was pretty green after finishing the drink. If there's a way to get less ice, I'd prefer that.
