    Raw beef pho, large
    Amy C.

SO GOOD. I thought I knew pho, and I've tried a few places around the city, but none of that even comes near the rare beef pho here. They've also got some whacky traditional drinks for the adventurous like penny wort leaves juice and a soda, egg and milk shake. Seriously. My mouth is orgasming.

This is Phooooo-Good! It's a Pho dominated menu with beef or chicken options. I've tried both and am quite partial to the rare beef. Don't get a large ($12) unless you haven't eaten for a week or are planning to take away your leftovers. The small ($9.50) is more than suffice. Cheap and delish!

I have visited this place so many times but willing to come again an again!…read moreThe signature meal of crispy chicken to paiir with a bowl of won ton soup is what I'm on about! First you have to slurp a spoon or two the broth to appreciate the exquisite taste! Then a bite of soft wonton to follow a bit of elastic but crunchy noodles! How do they make that?! I have not mentioned about the inviting chicken pieces there because I know already, once I start I cannot stop eating it till it's all gone! After the meal is settled in your stomach you can look around to see many people enjoying the food just like you do!

CRISPY CHICKEN WITH EGG NOODLES This was highly recommended to us so I had to order it. The broth on the side was very bland. It tasted of water and light salt. The chicken was the best part of the dish. It was very crispy and tasted very clean. Taste wise, it wasn't seasoned much, but provided a great texture to the bowl of noodles. Overall, it was a very bland dish. It needed more seasoning, either from the sauce or the soup. BBQ PORK WITH EGG NOODLES The broth was the same, bland. Everything flavor wise was the same as the crispy chicken dish, but the only difference is the meat. The pork was more flavorful than the chicken and more savory. Not exactly a place I would come back to. Overall, it was clean and didn't leave a bad aftertaste, but it's not exactly seasoned well with flavor.

There's a CCTV screen in this place, maybe it's from the bad old days of Cabramatta…read more I have to choose between 1. watching myself eat pork and prawn fresh rice paper rolls, 2. watching community TV showing "Behind the Scenes" in Vietnamese, or 3. watching the ultra violet fly zapper. And the Oscar goes to...the envelope please........That knucklehead at table 3 ! - for his moving comedic performance in "How to Eat a Half a Fresh Roll Covered in Peanut Sauce in One Go Even Though Its Bigger Than Your Cakehole" Woo hoo. Soon I will have eaten at more than ten Vietnamese places in Cabramatta. I dont think I've even scratched the surface. This place is food heaven and the Rice Paper Rolls I had today are the best I've ever had. I saw this place on some foodies "Ten top food experiences in Sydney". He was right, the do it yourself vietnamese rolls are fantastic, I even watched a table of kids making them. The food and service here is pure Gold Logie stuff, but the entertainment is atrocious !

After we ordered, it only took them less than 10 minutes to serve our order. I was impressed since they have lots of customers to be serve. I thought it was only us, but when I was watching them serves other customers they were really quick. The food that we ordered tasted really good. The beef noodle soup that I ordered really taste good, it's not that oily like some other noodle soup that I had tasted. And I really like the make your own spring roll thing, I guess that dish is famous in that place since most tables I saw has it. And the grilled shrimp/fish cake on it was really awesome. You must really try it. That's the only unusual dish I saw on a Pho restaurant. The crispy chicken was also good, but I guess it's too common. The prices are reasonable, it's not to high it's not too low, it's just alright. This place is at Cabramatta market, so expect that it's a busy place. There's no parking on the street so you gotta park on the nearest parking lot.

Therefore not many Vietnamese restaurants actually please us but this one definitely does. Firstly, their outrageous menu. Make sure you come on down from Friday to Monday, where they have a special menu with grilled items. The smell and aroma you are greeted with when walking into the restaurant will take you to the streets of Vietnam. The awesome decor outside and inside the restaurant helps immensely too! During the weekends especially, you'll find a long queue outside so make sure you get in early (around 6pm, any time later and you'll be left waiting!). The food was spot on with a mix of delicious and authentic. I definitely suggest to order a few dishes to share, you don't want anyone missing out (I've posted some photos with the dishes and the names of them so go check those out!). The seafood is fresh so make sure you venture out of your comfort zone and order some of the more interesting ones (like the snails!). This place is one of my favs, take my word for it!

Try this for service, they've even got a food elevator and microphone to make sure food is delivered more efficiently from the downstairs kitchen to the upstairs eating area. I'm Vietnamese and this is as real as it gets! You get the rice cooked in the stone pots just like in Vietnam. The speciality here are the table coal bbqs for grilled meats, choose from an array of the conventional beef and chicken or take a walk on the wildside with crocodile or deer. All the grilled meats come with a platter of fresh herbs for filling your do-it-yourself rice paper rolls, really fun 'interactive' eating. Try the 'canh chua' - sweet & sour soup 'ca kho to' - caramelised fish for an authentic vietnamese experience.
