It's near a small corner within the shops. The restaurant is relatively large in size and has a ton of tables. Everything on the menu looked very appealing.. from their banh xeo (Vietnamese crepes), rice dishes, vermicelli dishes, noodle soups, steam rice rolls and their drink menu. But it seems as that they're mostly known for their monster sized savoury crepes and steam rice rolls. Everything was relatively cheap compared to the other restaurants in the area. Meals ranged anywhere from $10-$16. I ordered the $11.50 banh uot tom kho (steamed rice paper rolls) with dried shrimp and my cousin got the $13.00 banh cuon tom, cha (shrimp wrapped in rice rolls). These dishes all came with a handful of bean sprouts, herbs, fish sauce and pork sausages. The rolls were pretty chewy but tasted so fresh. They had to be made per order or else they wouldn't taste as good.. and let me tell you.. they know what they're doing! The portion was huge and it was so satisfying. I would definitely order the shrimp wrapped rice rolls next time (more bank for your buck). If you're looking for some really good Vietnamese food, I would highly recommend this place for their Vietnamese crepes and steamed rice rolls!!

Staff were efficient. Spaces between each table were very small, be careful not to knock someone over or bump into someone eating their Pho. I ordered a small bowl of beef combination (AUD$10.50), which was more than enough for me, and a fresh orange juice (AUD$3.50). Everything came out pretty quick. The broth lacked flavor where I had to add hoisin sauce and sriracha. In addition, noodles were a bit soggy. I've had better Pho.

The salary is very low compared to people aged 18 and over. I have worked at many different restaurants, but I have never seen a restaurant with an owner like this. Although we are only employees, we also need to be treated kindly and fairly. Anyone who intends to apply for a job here should consider it carefully, especially in a developed country where everyone has a culture. Please consider this case.

And I really like the make your own spring roll thing, I guess that dish is famous in that place since most tables I saw has it. And the grilled shrimp/fish cake on it was really awesome. You must really try it. That's the only unusual dish I saw on a Pho restaurant. The crispy chicken was also good, but I guess it's too common. The prices are reasonable, it's not to high it's not too low, it's just alright. This place is at Cabramatta market, so expect that it's a busy place. There's no parking on the street so you gotta park on the nearest parking lot.

Right at the end of John St Cabramatta. The top seller was the crispy chicken noodles. You have an option with Dry, with soup or with rice. I like mine dry, they add their special sauce, which has a bit of salty and sweet taste. The skin is very crispy and the chicken meat is very juicy. If you come here be prepared to line up during the lunch times. read more

My arm literally fell off waiting for service. We then waited some more. And some more. We asked 2 waiters on their way past for a new plate. Then we waited some more. And then some more. You get the drift here guys. The only thing I enjoyed was the beef shoulders. The oxford beef was really bland & chewy. So you had to smother it in whatever you could get your hands on to eat it. They don't have sweet soy sauce, but tell you there's a sweet chilli that works just as well when you ask. There are also no condiment stations so you can't get your own. Sharing a small bowl of soy between 3 people was hard. And the thought of asking for more send me into a panic attack as I didn't want to wait another 45 minutes for sauce. There's a lot of waiting for your 2 hours of all you can eat. In the end we didn't end up asking for anything more to eat because I'd just about had enough. Left still hungry but paid $109 for the experience for 3 people. Plus there's a surcharge for using a card to pay. Will I ever go again? Ummm, let's put that down as a big NO.

That gives the infamous Pho An in Bankstown a run for their money in terms of cost but sadly Me Oi comes out second best when it comes to the flavour of the Pho. I would say that it's a good alternative to the other Pho joints in the city - namely Pasteur or even Viet Town. This location should do pretty well - being just across the road from World Square for those not wanting to trek further into Haymarket. It also gives the World Square precinct a solid Vietnamese choice now. The bowls though expensive, do provide quite a substantial amount of meats and noodles but the broth isn't as memorable. All in all, a solid performer and a decent Pho alternative in the CBD.
