Special House Pho with added tendon.

The food was flavourful and hearty. Amazing broth. The service was friendly and quick. I enjoyed the jazz music as well. Wasn't too busy...probably the rain as well as night of the week.

I'm amazed by how good the food is at this place. Living in the states, it is very hard to find pho places that serve flat noodles. Will visit again when in the area.

Was looking forward to this relatively new Pho shop in Tsawwassen, if I am not mistaken this may be one of the only 2 Vietnamese restaurant in town. First impression from the reviews & the photos may have given me high hopes, but alas the reality does not match my expectations! Broth ... one dimensional, lack depth & other elements ( sweetness from onion, vegetables and other herbs & spice ) that make a great Pho ... here you can only taste "salt" in the broth. Maybe we picked the wrong night to come, as it was 33C outside but upon entry into the restaurant, we were surprised that there were no A/C but maybe there is a fan somewhere? We were wrong, since we specifically drove here to try this restaurant, we decided to stay, but after my bowl of Pho, it was like coming out of a sauna! The gentleman that served us were super nice & very polite, I do wish the business all the best, as Tsawwassen really needs another good Vietnamese Restaurant!!

    Cute little spot in Tsawwassen.

We stopped by here for lunch as we were shopping in the area. We were seated right away and menus dropped off. We ordered the house combo special noodles, the Hanoi styles grilled pork noodles, an order of spring rolls and an iced Vietnamese coffee. Food arrived fairly quickly because we were the only customers at the time. The spring rolls were amazing. It was crispy with a filling made of pork, vermicelli, wood ear and carrots. The spring rolls were made with rice wrapper which is what I prefer for spring rolls over the wheat wrapper. The pho was alright. It did not have tendon or tripe. I think it is to cater to the customers in the area. The broth was not greasy and had a strong star anise flavour compared to other broths I have tried. There was a decent amount of noodles and beef toppings. The beef ball was cut in slices so there was only one whole beef ball in the pho. I would have liked two beef balls. Interestingly, the pho garnish was only basil and bean sprouts. There were no lemon/lime wedges or chilli slices found at many other Vietnamese restaurants. I am not sure if those options are available if we had asked. The Hanoi styles grilled pork noodles was an interesting dish. I have not seen this at many restaurants. The pork was nicely marinated with a sweet and savoury sauce. I would recommend coming here to order the spring rolls and the grilled pork noodles because they are the more interesting options to try. Restaurant ambiance is nice. I like the brick wall and wood tables. The restaurant looked clean. Staff wore face masks. Credit card payment accepted. There is parking located in front of the restaurant.

This was my second experience with a subpar bun dish. Sadness. First of all parking here is…read moreatrocious during the lunch hour. There are only 5 spots in front of this little strip mall and then the sign on their door says "parking in back." When I drove back there it was labeled a loading area for the party supply store next to the restaurant. There was also a huge sign painted across the fence stating "NO PARKING." I finally parked way down the street and walked over. When I asked the girl working there what the deal with the parking in back was, she went to ask the guy cooking in back. She seemed pretty clueless. Anyway I sat down and she came back to tell me I could park in one area just next to the black car back there, but only one spot is available. Some guys at a table nearby overheard and I could hear them saying "yeah, that's not a good idea. There isn't even room to turn around back there. Someone is likely going to wreck back there." Anyway, I was hungry so I ordered my usual grilled shrimp bun - added bonus were the spring rolls on top. I wasn't a huge fan of the garlic ginger satay on the shrimp skewers but it was edible. The disappointing factor was the vermicelli noodles all clumped together. The fish sauce did nothing to alleviate the problem and the noodles seemed to soak the sauce right up - a good indicator that your noodles are way too dry! On top of the food just being meh, the decor in the restaurant looked like somebody's Grammy got sick and their grandkids took over running the biz. Writing all over the walls in marker really brought the class down in this place. The only girl working there in front was also wearing a see-thru button up shirt tied at the waist with a black bra, belly ring, and tight Lulu yoga leggings. Not something I want to see at lunch. The odd pairing of apparel went right along with the decor of the place. Needless to say, avoid this place. There are too many other good options in BC to waste your time here.

Stopped in for a quick lunch before heading out on the ferry to Victoria. Restaurant is clean,…read morebright and staff were friendly. We ordered their house special - Phở Đặc Biệt (beef, brisket, tendon, tripe, and beef balls). Good flavor and served hot. We also had the Gỏi Cuốn Thịt (fresh spring rolls with ham, shrimp, noodles and lettuce served with peanut sauce). We also tried the Cánh Gà Chiên (fried chicken wings with salt and garlic) - this was really good! Our server was very friendly, courteous and we appreciated his honesty when we asked about the slushees. He told us it was powdered so we opted for soda instead. Overall, great place for Vietnamese food or for when you are looking for a quick meal to and from the ferry.

No frills PHO place in Tsawassen!…read more Perfect spot for a hot steaming bowl of PHO after a 2 hr ferry ride. Only 5-10mins from the ferry terminal. Fast and efficient service. One of those places that you walk up to the counter, order and pay at the same time. Pho was good. Broth was a bit on the lighter side, but still good nonetheless. Nice, bright, and spacious! High ceilings. Place had some interesting stuff like avocado shake! Lol. You walk in and you can immediately smell the broth brewing in the back. Beef was very tender and quantity of servings were great! Washrooms were clean and well maintained. Closes early at 730pm but last call at 715pm. You can stay oast 730, as long as your order is in by 715pm. Cheers! Happy eating! Would surely repeat when in the area.
