Solid bowl of soup noodle. Service is polite and efficient. When you walk in, it looks bigger than when looking from the outside.

On a road trip from Whistler to Seattle and felt the need for Pho. Clean, great great service and darn good Pho too!

I finally got to give this a try as I was in the area for work. Luckily I came after the lunch rush and there was lots of parking space and the restaurant wasn't too busy. Coming in on a hot sunny day it felt refreshing with the ac blasting. They have a great menu with lots of options, including my favourite coconut milk coffee. Reminds me of when I was in Vietnam. I had their pho with three toppings of choice. The everything was fresh and clean tasting. 10/10 would come again

Checked Little Minh's out on a cold rainy evening. Got their Pre Sent Noodle Combo ($17) that Pho Noodle (rare beef and beef balls), Pork and Shrimp salad roll (+$2) and a soft drink. Good portion size and hit the spot for the weather.

I've had Little Minh's bookmarked for ages. Finally made the drive out to try them for dinner. They're located in Market Crossing next to a Chicko Chicken branch. Interesting that the owner also runs Pho Den. We dropped in on a Sunday evening (around 8:00pm). Service was attentive and the waitresses came by half a dozen times to see if we needed water refills. The menu consists of appetizers, bone broth, combos, back to basics and desserts. - Sate ($16.00) - the better of the two soups that we ordered. However, the broth wasn't creamy or rich. Flavours were very subdued and watered down. The best thing was the sautéed beef, which was plentiful. - Bun bo hue ($15.50) - broth was lacklustre and lacked complexity. The best of the meats was the four handmade pork balls. The pork was unfortunately dry. The bowl comes with a larger than normal amount of broth but not enough noodles. Wasn't fully satisfied. Being one of their speciality, the BBH was disappointing. - Vermicelli combo ($19.00) - J went with the grilled chicken, pork and spring roll (option #4) and coconut milk tea. Drink was too sweet; he couldn't force himself to finish it. No urge to come back to Little Minh's. So many other satisfying BBH and sate options elsewhere.

    Opens early 10 am.

This is an update to my last review. Time seems to have stood still here. Prices haven't changed much so is the portion. Service is still alright. Covid measures are fully accounted for. I do appreciate they installing dividers between tables. I am knocking a star for lack of cleanliness and waitress hurrying our dining by prematurely giving us the bill, even though the restaurant was half empty. If you don't mind such nuisances, this place is still decent to dine.

I am still quite puzzled and not very pleased by the fact the restaurant can charge a different price than what was stated on the menu. When asked, the staff said that were the new prices on the bill and just nodded when I said the prices on the QR menu did not reflect the new prices. Are they allowed to do that? It seemed quite arbitrary then, if a restaurant can just charge any amount and said it is the new price. I checked the menu online again and it showed the QR menu prices. Frankly I feel quite cheated and it is leaving a sour taste in my mouth. Anyway, I doubt I will be back after this incident. Quite unfortunate. The food is generally good and the service too. But for this unexpected increased prices which are not shown on the menu (see pics) and I am expected to pay that, they have lost me as a customer. Disappointing, and no service recovery done by the staff when the discrepancy was pointed out. Dine at your own risk.

My own build-your-bowl with three choice of toppings and an additional free spring roll for ordering directly online.

Little Minh's has such friendly service with the staff armed with smiles, giving plenty of drink refills, and prompt service. I haven't dined out in awhile due to the Omicron variant so decided to order directly online from Little Minh's website. Ordering was easy and I decided to order a build-your-own vermicelli bowl. You get to pick 3 toppings (i.e. lemongrass chicken, pork patty, fried egg, spring roll, etc.) for $16.50. Ordering online, you also get a free spring roll so I was super excited. My food was ready and packaged near the front entrance with my name on it. This was appreciated as I try not to step into any restaurant more than I need to. The amount was perfect for one hungry meal and I was satisfied, especially with an extra spring roll. Definitely recommend trying out this local joint and I will definitely be going every so often!

Banh Mi ... very well made

We actually saw this place open, that was about 2 yrs. ago ( if I remember correctly ) but we were just heading back to Hong Kong then, so we left it to now! Great food & very friendly & helpful staff ... which makes Little Minh's every bit a solid Vietnamese restaurant in today's ultra competitive market! Highlight items: Hu Tieu ... ( this is a Viet, Chinese, Cambodian favourite ) and if you want something different then Pho, this will satisfy your craving for something soupy, they come in dry form too as a "toss" noodles, depending on what you feel like, the both is very light ( made from Pork / Chicken bone instead of Beef ) but still full of umami. This time around I ordered their wide egg noodles, but next time I will substitute with regular Pho. Banh Mi ... wow! bread is extra fresh & crusty, and the filling was just right, its a great meal in itself if you want something not too heavy, perfect for someone on the go! Of course you can order a few and you will have a great picnic by the beach! Plenty of parking at this mall and beware they can get very busy, so make sure you come early! p.s as you can see we over ate, ordered 4 items for the 2 of us "just to try"!

I come pretty often for both dine in and take out, so this time I decided to try some items I don't usually order: Minh's Roll: this is super fun and unique, it's basically a salad roll with a deep friend spring roll on the inside. There also some prawns wrapped into the bánh tráng (rice paper wrap). By itself, there isn't much flavour, so you'll have to dip it into the sauce, which tastes like a house made version of oyster/hoisin sauce. Chicken Wings (Taste of Vietnam): I really liked these ! 10/10 would recommend. It has a subtle and has a fish sauce for flavour. Sautéed Shrimp (Vermicelli): prawns are peeled already, you're welcome. Flavourful and deep fried, in a stick sweet & savoury sauce. Beef Short Ribs (Rice): It's tender and flavourful - great portions too. Cafe Sua Dua (Coconut & Coffee): The caffeine was ultra-STRONG, and I'm a regular one-cup-per-day coffee drinker. I had it at around 5pm and didn't sleep until 3am, but it's soo creamy and tasty. I'd recommend drinking it earlier in the day haha. I would like to note that their regular viet coffee with condensed milk is sweeter and creamier than this drink. FYI, there is no condensed milk in this drink.

So much good stuff here! Some of the freshest, best tasting Vietnamese food in Metro Vancouver. I'm kicking myself for not checking out this place earlier since I drive by all the time, and it has become one of my go-to Vietnamese restaurants in the area. Little Minh's is located on the Market Crossing side facing Save-On-Foods. I love that the restaurant exudes cleanliness. First impressions of the interior were clean and tidy. Tables are properly spaced and thoroughly sanitized after each set of diners leave. The kitchen and bar area are well organized. All of this gives me confidence, not just for the current COVID prevention, but also in their food preparation and safe handling practices. Service has been extremely friendly and attentive during our visits. All of the ingredients are high quality and fresh; each dish is made with care. We pretty much have tried every item on their current menu at this point and not one dish has disappointed. Granted, the current menu isn't super vast, but there are still a decent number of items on it ... and we've liked every one so far! How is that even possible?? I don't think I've been to an actual restaurant yet where they're batting a thousand with their menu items, but Little Minh's sure is getting mighty close... The spring rolls are fried perfectly with a tasty filling; wings and tiger prawns are also fried well. Create-your-own rice/vermicelli combo plates allow you to hit all of your current cravings. I'm not usually a big fan of sate noodle soup, but it's one of my favorites here. Their version has a wonderful intense flavour with a spicy kick, and like their pho, comes with raw beef slices that you cook to your liking in the broth. Looks like the reason I wasn't a fan of sate soup before was because I just hadn't tried a good version until Little Minh's. Their other more standard Vietnamese dishes like bun bo hue/hu tieu/bo kho (beef stew) are some of the best I've had in the area. I could go on and on about the food, but you get the point. Definitely add Little Minh's to your list if you haven't checked this place out yet!

I brought my family here for lunch on Sunday. The restaurant and the washrooms were very clean. Ordering can be ordered by scanning QR code and adding items into a shopping cart. Free spring rolls only if you order by QR code. Not applicable by ordering person. Their tea was quite tasty. Noodles are around $14- $15 per bowl and it comes as one size. We ordered 2 Bun Bo Hue ($14.25), Pho Sate ($15) and Salad Roll (pork and shrimp $4.25). Noodles came in a huge bowl. Bun Bo Hue was great nothing special. Soup was kind of sweet. Pho Sate was good, it felt like a mix of Dan Dan noodle and Beef Pho. It was little spicy and nutty. The bill could go up to $60 for 4 people. I didn't think it was worth the price tag. Food could've been better for the price. Service was fast.

Another excellent restaurant in the heart of Market crossing. Authentic Vietnamese cuisine, Huge place just liike other Vietnamese place the wall is painted with red color, and black table and chairs, the contrast of this hues are so good in photos another instagrammable place. Covid-19 precautions is well observed here. I noticed a large aquarium by the corner but it was empty, maybe the crustaceans are also isolating...hahahaha Unremarkable customer service, pretty busy when i came in for lunch but service remains efficient. Food # 1)Salad Roll-pork and prawn wrapped in rice paper with vermicelli, bean sprout, Thai basil, and lettuce served with peanut sauce $4.25 per piece. This is a popular dish actually very filling.Taste good specially with the sauce..its like Malaysian food as well. Food # 2)I also order spring roll-deep fried on a wheat wrapper, It has mushroom, pork, carrots, and taro, Black fungus and onions. This one is okay too but i preferred the thinner version of this from other Vietnamese gig...easy to eat and crispier. Not the best spring roll in town. Food # 3)For my main entree i ordered the Hu Tieu or they say "who tee yoo" a thin rice noodle, it has pork, prawns, squid, imitation crab, and fish balls, options are with soup or the dry one, I got the dry one. It actually looks like a high end chowmein on a bowl....excellent taste, really yummy, the squid is kinda raw but still good I enjoyed my lunch in here..2 thumbs up. Free wifi, free parking tons of them, Wash room is clean and smells good. Good for group, family and kids friendly. Accept cash, debit, and credit. Another place i am recommending to all. Will be back soon....

Really lame vegetarian pho -- this is what my review is based on…read more I stopped in for lunch on a Wednesday after noticing they had a vegetarian pho ($14.50 for a small; $15.50 for a large). It does not come with tofu, so I added some (another $4!) to my small size. The pho came out in less than 10 minutes. The pho came with lots of veggies (lots of broccoli, plus cauliflower, carrot, celery, white onion and green onion), plus lots of rice noodles, and tofu. Of course, the broth is usually what makes or breaks a pho, and this was one of the most low-effort, lamest vegetable broths I've tried in Greater Vancouver (and I've tried over 90 pho places in the Metro area that have veggie pho options). In fact, I saw the woman fill up my pho bowl from the hot water dispenser. So, they don't even bother to have a proper veggie broth; they just base the broth on hot water, with maybe some salt and possibly some other spices? The broth tasted like barely salted water. Super lame. Embarrassing product to serve. The value is bad given the very lame quality. I like that they have a veggie pho option. The portion is big and you get lots of vegetables, though the lack of tofu is definitely a thumbs down given the already above average price for the pho. All in all, don't come here for veggie pho. 2 stars is very generous.

Since then though we've heard a few people say positive things about it so...we decided it was time to give it another try. Came here as a group of 5, and it was a last minute decision as we had originally planned to eat elsewhere but that place turned out to be closed on Sundays. With no reservation on a Sunday, we were asked to wait about 10 minutes. Not too bad of a wait, compared with another Vietnamese place that we'd driven by earlier which had a lineup out the door. A couple of people in our group had fried eggs on their dishes. The eggs looked good. Soft yolks and soft yolk is what I like to see. There was a Papaya salad that we shared amongst the table. This was OK for me. Wasn't thrilled with it. I ordered the Lemongrass Tofu on Vermicelli. I love that this restaurant gives the option of having it on Vermicelli. I'd been somewhere else earlier this year which also had Lemongrass Tofu but it was only served on rice, with no option of switching to Vermicelli. The Lemongrass flavor was strong. Very flavorful. Something in the dish though was quite spicy. It seemed a lot of other dishes on the table were also quite spicy. Hubby's Bun Bo Hue was extremely spicy but he still enjoyed the dish very much. My daughter and I both ordered the Sober Sunday drink which had Lychee, Kumquat and Lemon Juice. The drink was OK. Nothing to write home about. Our daughter just ordered the Tapioca Dumplings appetizer and then took bits and pieces from other people's orders. A spring roll and a couple pieces of Lemongrass Tofu from me, some beef and noodle from her dad...etc. The dumplings looked tasty. They looked like something I'd have ordered myself if I were still a meat eater. Overall, the food here is flavorful. It was a much better experience this time than the first time we came here. Personally though, I'd prefer them to tone down the spice or even eliminate the spice altogether. I don't like having to wipe my nose all the time because of having eaten something spicy, or having my lips burn.
